coinmarketcap has definitely become annoyingly advert heavy lately so its good that some competition has come along. But these sites have to fund themselves somehow so once the sites listed above get the visitors the ads will come. With the market the way it is a the moment its not worth looking at it anyway. Too painful

Is there a way of unfollowing some of the threads I've commented on in the 'Show new replies to your posts' page? Its a really useful feature but its getting unmanageable with a full page of replies everyday.

After a long day at work, it became a habit for me to read news just to be informative on what's happening around. Then I bumped into this interested topic which came from our local news website. Being a crypto enthusiast, I was baffled upon reading the entire body of the subject. Why such a tech giant such as Google doesn't want cryptocurrencies be advertised? We are already in the golden age of digital economy and more people became interested as time goes by. "As per Alphabet Inc's Google, they will shutdown ads that contains cryptocurrencies this coming June.
The new policy implemented will ban advertisement that are unregulated or speculative financial products.
They (Google) want to improve the ads experience across the web, and crypto related ads has become more harmful and intrusive to the market.
Even Facebook already announced to ban ICO's, it will be implemented across all platforms including Instagram"_________________________________________________________ Source: http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/03/14/18/google-to-ban-ads-on-cryptocurrencies-related-productsThere were a lot of scams being perpetrated by crooks using Google ads. It is also a way to discourage cryptos for the meantime until it matures more. I'm sure there are lots of industries were scams are being perpetrated using Google Ads. If Google really wanted to help the situation they could check who is posting the ad and the authenticity of the link very easily. This would work with phising sites. No need to shut everything down is there??

Its funny to see Google and Facebook, once pioneering technology companies (now large bloated corporations) act in the same way as the establishment (shutting out the new to protect itself). People are getting banned on youtube for having slightly leftfield views and the issue of censorship is arising. It doesn't matter that they do this because ways around it will always be found.

I'd just keep making posts and joining in discussions. If you keep as it you will get to Jnr in about 5 or 6 weeks. Then you can join a bounty programme.

Unless you've got all day, everyday to do research and read chart plus have nerves of steel I'd play with a small bit of trading and keep most of it for the long term.

When bitcoin sorts out its scaling issues and start running smart contracts on Rootstock it will give eth competition. Assuming it all work of course

I think investing is a healthier way to look at it. But on the other side its good to take advantage of the volatility and sell and take some profits on the highs. Not an easy thing to do, I've been trying for a year. So in some ways that is a bit like trading. Its a complex thing. ...

hahaha what are you talking about binance fanboy
I'm talking about Jared Tate taking an aggressively anti-Binance stand on Twitter. I'm talking about the DGB devs and community leaders pushing weird conspiracy theories about Binance in the official DGB Telegram. I'm talking about community members - such as yourself - assailing anyone who questions why there is such a negative Binance slant with this coin. It's all very fishy. And yes, I am a fan of Binance. Most people are these days, after how professionally they've managed their exchange. On the same day Binance handled a hack better than any crypto exchange in history, you have the creator of this coin tweeting about their "shady business practices." This is terrible optics and not good business, especially when there is a DGB community initiative to raise the Binance fee completely separate from the Foundation. Just hamstringing this coin for no reason. I think the general myopicism of people in the DGB community will ultimately see this coin flounder. It basically needs to be on Binance to succeed, that's where the action is, that's where the liquidity is, that's where the adoption and excitement are. But no, listen to some anonymous dev's seventeen Telegram messages about how I have insider info on Binance about to go under in a year or two. No vision with this coin. No ability to see the bigger picture. No pragmatism. Personal attacks on those who disagree, even though they want to see DGB prosper just as much. Not a bad coin, but definitely has some fishy aspects. Are you for real? Seriously, you think DGB is fishy because it doesn't want to pay an insane fee for getting listed on Binance. They wanted Pillar to pay $500k to be listed and Pillar said on your bike as well.

At the moment you need a lot of time to be able to understand bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Once the technology becomes easier with new wallets and exchanges then it won't be too complicated. Its like a car. You don't need to understand how it works in order to be able to drive.

A few things have got to happen, the mt gov trustee has completed his dump of bitcoins, some new wallets and exchanges come out that make it a lot easier for new people to get and store cryptos and a lot of new people come to the space. Then it will take off. I think it'll start rising again in a few months.

ha yes, nice video, lovely quotes. Yes it does sound familiar. Everything new and progressive gets slapped down down by the mainstream first, then adopted by the masses later. Think rock and roll in the fifties, people thought it was devil music.

I think Ether will always go up and be a solid investment but you need to consider if it could be better spent on a good ico becasue there is the potential to make a lot more money with a good ico.

I have not heard about DGB for a long time. Hope there is an update from the dev team. Maybe this month there is good news from DGB that I expect. The best thing to do is to join their Telegram group https://t.me/DGBalerts, they are very active and post a lot.
