481  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Send BTC from a particular address? (Ledger Nano S) on: February 14, 2018, 09:06:06 PM
I tried and the 'spend from' option didn't come up even though it showed I had some btc on that address. I'm using a mac would that make any difference?

I'm fairly sure that this has nothing to do with you being on a mac. I've tested this on Electrum v3.0.6 on a Mac OSX Virtual Machine... when I select an address in my wallet that has a balance and right click I get the "Spend From" menu option.

What version of Electrum are you running?

How did you create the wallet? Did you create a new "standard" wallet and then selected "use a hardware device", or did you import your wallet using the xpub?

I downloaded the current version on the website (today) then selected 'use a hardware device', it seemed to pick up my ledger addresses ok.

I just missed the grace period because I couldn't work out how to send from a specific address with a nano ledger. In the end I found you could use electrum but then I got my segwit and legacy addresses muddled up and couldn't send to verify and claim. I suppose its too late now? Can grace to extended in exceptional circumstances? A shame because it looks like this is a really good project.

Normally it's not, we don't know what they are doing but (see above) it would be interesting to see what happens if we transfer coins with my tool, you can email me if you want to try (but from a normal or multisig address before block 498777, not a segwit one)

sorry not sure what you mean. You can get the ubtc with your tool and I should email you?
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale Successfully Completed on: February 14, 2018, 04:20:40 PM
There are lots of data locker type of tokens that have done ico's lately, like self key, they key and now remme. Does anyone know how civic can stay ahead of the game. I guess its ahead on it dev as its ico was the middle of last year.

Not sure if this would work, but it's worth the try.

1. Import your Ledger Nano S in Electrum;
2. Select the "Addresses" tab; (if it's not showing: View -> Show Addresses)
3. Right click the address you want to spend the coins and choose "Spend from";

Please report here if it worked.

This, actually, is the only way this works.
Ledger Wallet software does not support sending from specific chosen addresses.
Of course there is quite a big risk contained in exporting/importing your private keys.
Theoretically it shouldn't matter from which address you send. Do you have a reason?

I tried and the 'spend from' option didn't come up even though it showed I had some btc on that address. I'm using a mac would that make any difference?

The WePOWER coin project has its unexpected cow. It can reach the hard top in a few hours. The heat and rating of the project didn't seem to be very high before. Cool
Which hardcap you are talking abaout? The ico is already ended and token sale is over, They sold all tokens in first 5 hours.
That is why excited for bounty reward as well....we were supposed to work for it whole february but the tokens sold within few hours...so bounty campaign ended also..but the allocation would be same...we can get paid alot for not a lot of work Grin
Exactly i am  also excited for bounty rewards, Tongue But still waiting for final updated spreadsheet. Hopefully bounty mananger is working on it.

I wasn't aware of that the bounty rewards might be really high. That's great because I only got the 0.2 ether and would like to get more seeing as this is such a great project.

490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CND] Cindicator - Hybrid Intelligence for Financial Markets - September 12 on: February 08, 2018, 09:44:48 PM
Seems to be that we are stable on 2.2K for quite some time now so What do guys think will be the next price range for CND tokens?
5 cent
At 15 cents a token has the strongest support, I do not know what should happen if the price drops to 5 cents. On past fall "weak" investors have already got rid of the token.

I dont think so it wil drop until 5 cents. If it does, then time to buy more CND. It may drop to that level if the sell off of btc continues and we look at the usd price but if we are looking at basebonly on satoshis, i dont think it will drop to 1k sats.

I wish it would drop to 5 cents I would get more. Can't see it happening though after CND was a palm beach pick.

It'l bob around for a bit then should surge in the next bull run. Red pulse did the same. Went up a bit, down a lot, did nothing for a while then went up a lot.

493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: February 08, 2018, 01:35:27 PM
Do you know how many time it takes to receive your free LSK after voting ?

I voted for 101 delegates more than 15 days ago and I still have not received anything.

when I check at this address: https://lisk.support/lisk-pending/   I see "LSK pending 1.34"

Thank you for your help
It depends on ur holding that how many lisk u are holding in your wallet and also there is different minimum withdraw for every pool. Once you reached that minimum withdraw amount, they send u in ur wallet. For example minimum withdraw for Lisk Elite is 1 LSK.

Thank you  Wink

These are useful sites for getting the most out of your votes

Any idea when this coin is actually going to go on an exchange. Has to be the longest release after an ico ever, no?
