I think it is basically as a result of the forces of demand and supply and most epecially many bounty Hunters are ready to to dump the coins in question and these are the some of the reason why most of the value of coins/tokens do drop in price once listed on exchange.

But do not invest your all money to btc , only invest what you can afford to loose. Do not put all the eggs to one bucket , diversify it. if you have 100$
50% put to btc others to alt coins.
You have a good advice but I think you should have known better that Bitcoin discussion shouldn't have been here in altcoins discussion section and will love if the moderator of this section should be able to move this threats to the right section. From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
Your point is very correct particularly those leaving in the third world country where in some of their community they don't have internet facilities for them to make use of the internet let alone having to knowledge about Bitcoin and blockchain technology. |

I want to buy some BTC with cash locally, the seller i found says : "send BTC to your wallet. After 1 confirmation On blockchain, collector takes from the table cash."
Is this enough to be sure i will receive the bitcoin sold me? Or its better to wait for 2 confirmations?
In my opinion, one confirmation should be enough for you to trust the person that want to sell Bitcoin to you. If the seller is not in a hurry for other activities he or she should wait until the transaction is confirmed before he leaves. If I may ask do it there is no local crypto currency exchange in your locality like Remitano which serve as escrow that you can patronise and have your peace any time any day. |

Yeah if we will buy to trade now at this market we will surely help the price to be high, it is reality when we invest our money it makes the price even more higher, but chose one coin so you will invest in it, so it will gain value and price will get huge, so according to me in 2019 price of bitcoin will be higher enough which will become bull year for plenty of investments. I don't really think this year can be regarded as a bull year except if you want to compare this year with that of 2018 which the Bitcoin market value never return to$10,000 . Although, we may see Bitcoin market value around $15,000 before the end of this year if all things remain equal. |

When one kept on waiting thinking that the market decline to a level that will be okay for you to buy at a cheaper price you may end up not investing at all. Altcoins are currently recovering and there is no going back since Bitcoin is on an upward trend since the middle of this month. Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash are moving in the same direction with Bitcoin and if in your portfolio you don't have these as part of your investment portfolio then you need to have a rethink. |
