901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: January 26, 2019, 07:29:33 AM
Gambling with normal games is pretty much like gambling online as these two methods will at the end yield profits if an individual win the game. Normal game is not suitable for hot temper individuals who might see others taken the wins why him/her lose. I have been a victim of this many times before i quit play games with my friends rather i play online.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: January 26, 2019, 07:16:58 AM
Resistance in gambling is not easy but this differs from individuals from their level of addictiveless. For an individual to gamble responsibly he/she must be able to control their emotions to reduce the risk of looses. Before i start any gambling i do nominally set aside my capital and as soon as the capital get exhausted i quit the scene of the gamble.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A quick cancellation can make a profit? on: January 26, 2019, 05:27:27 AM
There has be a principle that worked fine when i was deeply involved in gambling of recent, gambling is the most difficult scene that will always beckon on winners to play more but that's the opposite of lose. Whenever i gamble and i make a profit from my capital then i quit the game instantly then come back a week time to play again, this principle has done great and work perfectly at my end.

5.4. Livecasino.io reserve the right to carry out additional KYC verification procedures for any withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of 1 Bitcoin or €2,000, whichever is lower, and further reserves the right to carry out such verification procedures in case of smaller withdrawals, as demanded by our gaming license.

Looks like jackpot winners must passed first the KYC before they can withdraw their big jackpot money.

Anyways, how much is the winnings covered for that "smaller withdrawals"?

Some people are not reading terms before testing a gambling site so they might be surprised once luck hit them.

Casino usually offers deposit bonus but most of them has so high wagering requirement. Maybe you can offer something better with lower wagering requirement. Or maybe add a tournament or contest would be great to compete with other casinos.

+1.
Jackpot winners must to pass KYC? i don't personally joke with that when it come to online gambling site not even an ordinary website for registration. KYC was recently stolen by hackers in an exchange were the client information were sold on the darkweb. Also, many of those gambling sites does doesn't allow VPN.
905  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINSLOT. Where Blockchains Come True | What is your Coinslot story? on: January 26, 2019, 05:03:19 AM
Thank you all for the feedback! The problems with connection and email verification that might have occurred were solved. The sports betting feature was added. Thank you guys for all your support.
If those feedback were solved why hasn't they reflect on the website even uptil now as there is still a problem of loading. You equally changed the domain name which i thought to be okay but still yet looked like a referrer link.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to be a profitable gambler? on: January 25, 2019, 08:23:18 PM
So if it is profitable why do you sell your secret  Smiley

Just sell everything you have and make more money, why you don't do it?
Totally in agreement with you also, there should be a proof of your bet histories for you to have more buyers into the packages you sell. Things like this has happened before now were investors money were lost along when placing bet with inaccurate ODDS, so, please get start with proof of your betting skills or history.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: TossCoin - good luck game on: January 25, 2019, 08:09:12 PM
It looks like there is some tweaking needed especially the language, it says english but not all are english. This game is 50/50 win/lose, it may be fair but other won't take it as fair unless someone experience it already. I check the smart contract but all transactions are going in and no out going transactions and I think this means that it's hard to win for a 50/50 chance.
That's what i just stumble at some features which could enhance attraction should be integrated to the website UI, though the fairness of the game might be okay by my own opinion as it tend to be 50/50%, nice good well done as i wish the project a huge success.
Will play the game to get more feedback for enhancement of the website.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2019, 11:25:54 PM
The game in not yet over as we all believe that in no distance from things will get better than what it was before now. But is not a garantee for anyone though as it may turn the other way round who knows.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: January 20, 2019, 09:49:47 PM
I'm looking for places to invest BTC. Are there any decent options other than casinos?

It's possible to lend BTC at Bitfinex and Poloniex, but interest rates are ridiculously low. What else is there that isn't an evident scam (like ponzi schemes)?
Lending may not bring much return to you as compared to casino as you rightly mentioned above. The rate of interest in lending section of those exchange you mentioned are seriously ridiculous and I will advise if you are making good return from activities in casino why looking somewhere else for good return.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: January 20, 2019, 08:52:05 PM
There are many who have made a lot of money from participating in gambling and such example can be found https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5097392.0 where this guy move from$100- $2,000 in a challenge is enough evidence that people do make money from gambling.

912  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: January 20, 2019, 07:48:41 PM

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?
O p, when compared the current market to the time you make this post I will say it's a different ball game entirely. At this time what one need to do is to buy more and hood pending when it's value appreciate significantly so as to make profit at the end of the day
913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a new ATH for BTC even posible? on: January 19, 2019, 09:22:39 PM
Do you think a new ATH for BTC is even possible?

With all those new and shiny Projects, which outperform BTC in every aspect, I think it could be quite hard, but I am not sure, so I created this poll  Wink

Please vote and share your opinion  Smiley
It is very possible but may likely take a long time for it to happen, but we all hope that will happen in know distance time from now. Although my advice for those who buy when Bitcoin market was above$5,000 is that they should keep holding and for those that have money and want to invest in Bitcoin they should not loose hope because this is the best time to buy at the cheaper rate before is too late again.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 17, 2019, 09:51:09 AM
gambling hypnotizes us like its trying to tempt us into betting, betting and gambling are way much easier but harder to win but still it keeps us from betting until theres nothing left in us. Thats the power of gambling. Just like liquor, gamble moderately
Yes, gamble moderately is not as easy as we thought because of the spirit behind it. When one places a bet and lose he/she will like to play again just to make sure he/she wins the lost back this time, this will make such individual continue to place the bet until he/she finally loose all before think of quit. The only thing that triggers gambling addiction is "MUST WIN"
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Definition of Winning in Gambling on: January 17, 2019, 09:32:08 AM
This is my result in searching the meaning of “Winning”

Quote
Definition of winning (Entry 1 of 2)
1 : the act of one that wins : VICTORY

From: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/winning

How would you know that you have really one? Is it just one game? Only one chance where you get the W or the L? Is that already the Victory that is defined or Defeat when you lose?

This came into my thoughts when I read somewhere here in BTCT that when are you going to stop? And a lot of people have suggested that they will stop when they have already won. It got me thinking, how would be a Win?

There could be a lot of factors on when someone is going to stop. It probably depends on what type of person you are but seeing everyone has their own opinions, you could share everything here.

We are in a fast paced world where people would want to have instant income basically instant gratification. Could that be a win already? What is the motivation knowing that you are continue to win and lose when you gamble. What is the TRUE meaning of ”Winning” in gambling for you? Is it successful profits or satisfied game even if you lose?
My own definition of winning in gambling is; having the require profits after gambling with my initial capital within a time frame on the capital. There is nothing called successful profits in gambling as these games are games of chance were looses can also be recorded within the time frame.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: January 17, 2019, 08:37:04 AM
I dont know if you do this strategy on your betting game but if it is then good job. Its not about hacking the system of the house because its almost impossible to do and you cant win from them. Its about how to increase the possibility of getting home having a pocket full of money. So here it is.

1.) set aside a capital you can lose. Its upto you. If you lose it all of a sudden then youre such an unlucky man, you are helpless. Just Kidding. If its gone then go home. Try again if you have extra.

This strategy was my sole consolation whenever i enter into the DOME of gamblers. Setting aside what you can afford to lose was my best option as gambling is a game of chance, win today and lose tomorrow. Sometimes i do set limit of what i can lose even though i enter the game with alot of money with me, this is just the power of control over my urge for the game.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: January 17, 2019, 08:19:36 AM
I continue gambling despite making occasional losses (though I'm overall in the green thanks to esports betting) as I set aside a small portion of the crypto I get for gambling that I am okay with losing. The entertainment value's great with all forms of gambling, and as long as one stays responsible with gambling and doesn't risk more than what one can afford to lose, gambling's just fine. I make more than enough to cover what I lose while gambling and more.
Fun part is important for you,so you gamble when you lose small amounts and have money to afford gambling.Bu lot of people coming here to make easy money so they can't get out even after they win or lose eventually will get addicted.
Because of that hope that someday you will earn more through gambling, you didn’t realize that you already lose a lot of money. Having fun is different in chasing your loses, I think its more on betting higher to get profit which is sometimes not happening. I can see here a lot of reason why people continue to gamble, and I’m convinced that gambler are ready to take more risk just to take back the money.
They can go to any level of taking risk to make money but in the end the winning or losing is not in our hand, our fate will decide so chasing back the losses and hoping to win the money back is very risky thing to do.They can better think of how to make money again with the money what they have left in their hand will be a wise choice.
The valid reason why i continue to gamble is the gains and looses that attached to the games. Talking about RISK, i believe that almost everything in this life revolve round RISK and those who are ready to take the RISK are those who are likely to be winners, so, i gamble because of the huge money that are always attached to the game by taken RISK and this worked for me.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2019, 06:35:46 AM
As they said that information is power, i think one of the major problem as obstacle of bitcoin is wrong information. There has been wrong information about bitcoin since it onset and mostly after the bull run in 2017 which left many investors with looses even uptil now, those investors have wrong information concerning bitcoin when it come to price stability. Let us be positive and this will be solve.
919  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: January 17, 2019, 06:13:22 AM
After this hack ppl will pull out of crypto. Expect a crash. Damn
Cryptopia exchange cannot have such major impact on bitcoin crash as we all know that they are not big exchange. This exchange sometime ago was not too good as i spent out the reasons why i will not keep my coins but others never see this as a big challenge. Hope they give out details of the hack and what has been lost from the hack.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 16, 2019, 10:18:56 PM
The chances of quiting in the world of betting is very minimal according to research done on the effect of gambling. For a gambler to quit the gambling life is very rare but possible when the individual involve is not an addict. OP has a very good point there but those addicted to this games are likely not to withdraw back from the race of been a gambler either in gains or in looses.
