Has an authentic look.
Matches KORE well.

Here is another decent Graphic by JaWsNZ and he's a pleasure to work with!

MikeMike

I'm already running on kore testnet it seens ok so far... 27448 blocks.

if anyone want to connect with me just
Code:
kore-cli -testnet addnode a3y4tqttfcj7dvf3.onion add

KORE New Wallet Fork Update:

To the KORE Community:

Sorry for the misunderstanding by one of our Coders.
We were privately testing the old source because there were bugs that needed to be fixed that allows a fork to take place,
and a few other bugs as well. This is the reason we are forking/moving over to a new source code.

The KORE Coders are currently running another Private Testnet with the above fixes and testing the fork to the new source with the integrated new PoS algo we created.
We were not pleased with the PoS versions out there so created our own and is a reason for some delays that will hopefully end up with a better KORE.
Once that passes our internal tests we will either make it a Public Testnet to do a stress test or do a private one first with those selected few again.
We are desiring to include this new PoS algo in the first wallet release. If the integration delays us much more we will include it in another release.
The New KORE Source is on a private in house GIT and will be released opensource at the time of the Fork wallet release.

For now we are still keeping the first Testnet of v12.6.2 running just in case we need to make any further changes to it.

EDIT:
Just now finished up a meeting with the Team...
They had to fix 10 bugs since Monday, two nasty ones and one nasty one had to merge about 10 process functions,
they had about 2,000 lines of code  to check and condensed it to about 800 lines of code which greatly helped this weeks progress.
The Team worked incredibly hard this week to help us reach a deadline.
The overall condition is very positive after a grueling week!  Smiley
They are down to 2 bugs and once fixed will test the masternode functionality to see if all is OK.
Soon as the private tests pass we will inform of the Public Testnet.

Cheers!
 Cool
MikeMike

VIOR Linux wallet build commands:

Matrix put together a series of commands to assist you in compiling a Linux VIOR wallet.
This is to further assist the community to run VIOR wallets to support the chain till the new VIOR wallet is released in a few months.
I'm running a VIOR wallet on Linux Mint and have over twice the amount of connections than my Windows  wallet.
For some reason my windows machine seems to limit the number of wallet connections.

I'll try to make one for a linux machine I have running other wallets.
Do we need to open a particular port on the firewall to help with connections?

Appreciate you supporting GLOBE!

No that should not be an issue.
If you have any problems please post them in the GLOBE discord support thread if you can.

NON KORE RELATED SECURITY UPDATE

26 million new accounts are being sold on the darknet, the hacker responsible has already released verified accounts in the past so it is very likely these are legitimate accounts. It is very important to not reuse passwords in case something like this happens to a service you use.

NONE OF THESE HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH KORE AND ARE ONLY INTENDED TO KEEP THOSE INTERESTED IN SECURITY UP TO DATE ON THINGS THAT COULD AFFECT THEM
Matrix

Thanks Matrix!

I for one really appreciate all the work you do to keep us from getting hacked.
Im sure many others appreciate it as well.

KORE to be listed on two exchanges soon as new wallet is released!

The KORE Team finalized arrangements to have KORE listed on their exchanges soon after the New KORE Wallet release.

1st Exchange was founded in 2015 and has a fair amount of BTC trading volume.
2nd Exchange was founded in 2017 and has an impressive amount of BTC trading volume.
This second exchange caters to Chinese customers.

Once KORE is well established with some more tech released we will then seek out even larger exchanges.
We have already sought out arrangements with a few centralized and decentralized exchanges
smaller in volume than the two listed above...

Cheers!
 Cool
MikeMike and the KORE Team.

thatīs an awesome news !!!
Good lucky to Kore

Thanks.
We are excited about it also.
The Chinese Exchange is eager to list KORE now but we are asking them to hold off.
I just now replied to their request to list in Telegram...
We want people to have a good first new experience with KORE.

We are doing our best to be concentrating on the long term.

Excellent news. China is the most populous country in the world and in economic growth, it is an important region to expand to Kore.

I also think it's important to wait a little while and publish the new version.

They will probably like Kore, the icons and colors are very familiar with Chinese culture.

The Tech that will be in and attached to KORE will suit the Chinese well.
With around 300,000 account holders in their Exchange and BTC daily trading volume
well over EDIT: 6,700 BTC the KORE Community could grow.
I just wish I spoke the Chinese language!
We are working on getting a dedicated Chinese translator and account moderator.

How about if the post merited is deleted? Will the merit count? Or erased too? Because somebody could just use merit for unreasonable purpose.

The merit is not undone if the post is deleted.

Does that mean all merit sources are hand selected?

Right. There are about 35 right now.

Hi theymos,

Could you consider posting a guide to how the Merit system works and the proper use of it in the HELP section along with a few informative links.

199  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Crypto is an industry, not just a bunch of coins. on: March 13, 2019, 02:51:49 PM
Most of the discussions seem to revolve around the coins, tokens and wannabe currencies in the cryptosphere. Don't forget that crypto is now an industry, and this means there are many other related projects and investments. Some that I can think of are -

- Promotional items and memorabilia.
- Domain names.
- Educational services and eBooks.
- Programming and software development
- Building communities.
- Advertising and sponsorship

and probably many more. So what are you doing for the industry?

IMO Beware of those who claim all alts are scams.
The alts have proven to be and are the incubators for fixes, advances, innovation to blockchain tech and code as well as will be truly disruptive to the corrupt behemoth corporations that exist today.
OFC there are the scams and ICOs that run away with your money.
I personally have been a victim of a few alts devs that stole my ideas and left their projects after cashing out.

Exactly because of such and similar things I don't use Facebook or any other social network. It's scars how invasive they and I really don't want someone to interfear so much in my privacy. I guess many got used to that and accepted that they actually don't have the privacy at all, but not me, for me that is not acceptable. I just wait to see how far this could go and where are the limits. People see just positive features of social networks and ignore the bad ones unless something unpleasant happens to them. But to my opinion these negative sides are becoming bigger than the positive ones.

It is actually much more sinister than most are aware of:

I dont subscribe to many of their videos but these two are dead on:
Govgle and farcebook along with other tech giants now use and buy others data as well as the GOV.
