141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin has role to play in the future? on: October 21, 2017, 04:11:21 AM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is fast, secure, decentralized, and which also has very cheap transaction fees.
Bitcoin has no border from one country to another that is why it is accepted all over the world.
Based on all these aspects, do you think bitcoin has a role to play in the future?

Share with us what you think? thanks Smiley

Based on what I am seeing now, I can clearly say that bitcoin will play a very big role in the future. Not omly because it is owning right now but because the age we are currently living now is digital which means it will absolutely bring great convinience if bitcoin will be declared as the future currency in the future.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2017, 02:36:26 AM
what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0
I think what makes bitcoin appealing is the nature of it which is it's independent and can not be controled by the government. It simply means that it has no extra payments or tax everytime you are going to transact your money with it. Another thing is the value of it which is continually increasing which is one of ths main reason why many people are investing on it.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 20, 2017, 03:43:05 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
I agree, we all know that bitcoin is the oldest in existence among all the other cryptocurrency that's why most of the people are putting up their trust on it. Another thing is that bitcoin has already proven its firmness and capability to surpass all the obstacles it is facing. When it comes to value, bitcoin has still managed to recover even when it was ban in China. All of these reasons maybe the source why most people are giving crediits and appreciation with bitcoin.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 19, 2017, 04:51:57 PM
If you are referring to the solution of poverty with the help of bitcoin in the whole world, I don't think so. We all know that bitcoin is not yet legalized all over the world so the possibility that it will be known by people is still very small. Also there's only a little chance that people will start using it as it became legalized. I think this may happen in the future but I think that time is still so far. Let's just keep on believing on bitcoin.
145  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: October 19, 2017, 04:36:25 PM
Forget about everything else and just put everything on bitcoin. You are living with your parents, they pay everything for you, you got nothing to lose. If I was living with my parents, I would save everything and buy bitcoin monthly. If BTC doesn't keep rising you can still reach the 21 BTC holder group, then save this and retire in 10 years when the price makes you a millionaire.

Go all in on regret later. You are on a privileged position to profit from high risk high reward moves. No risk no win, and BTC is the best long term high risk bet.
I think this thing would only be accurate if you really have your parents assistance with your finances so if not then focus on what's important. The very thing that the youth should focus with right now for me is studying. We all know that it is one of the most precious thing in the world that can not be stolen by anyone. You can still do bitcoin but you should prioritize studying more than bitcoin so that you may ensure that your future is secured from any trouble that may occur.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin on: October 19, 2017, 04:15:04 PM
What do you say when asked this question from a friend who has only heard its name mentioned a few times in the news and has no clue. I find myself lately taking the easy way out and suggesting google. I would prefer to give a clearer answer, but usually saying something leads to more questions and more confusion.
If someone could point me to a twitter type answer that would inform and twig their curiosity, i think it would be a better outcome.
Whenever someone asks me about bitcoin, I simply tell them that it is a cryptocurrency which is said to be the number one and the most proven and tested currency for a long while. I always tell the to try it and search further more about the details about it. I don't make my explanations complicated because I know that they are just new from hearing about bitcoin so it would be better if I will narrow it down so they may know it and understand it more.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is unstoppable on: October 19, 2017, 04:01:54 PM
even when attacked from the inside by blockstream/core it just forks and offers two chains. at least one will continue delivering p2p electronic money to the people with low fees.  maybe both?  we'll see. Smiley
Bitcoin is very firm and was able to surpass all the obstacle it has encountered throughout the years. Even the banning of bitcoin in China was conquered by it and if you are going too look at it right now, you will see that it has recovered already from the devastation that China has caused. There are still a lot more obstacles but I believe and I know that bitcoin is unstoppable and will be able to take over with all of it.
148  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 19, 2017, 03:38:03 PM
Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley
By saying it out loud wherein they will be able to hear it from our range leading them to become curious while I'm with my friends. I've tried it once and it worked, I've noticed the curiousity in their face and I was glad that they asked me afterwards. I explained it to them thoroughly and they continued doing it. We became friends because whenever they have a question, they would ask me and I will answer them the best that I can.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 19, 2017, 03:22:37 PM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
If I were you, I would start investing right away so that I may have the chance to earn larger amount. I know that as I keep on investing, the money I invested will continue to grow and as I keep on investing, I will have the oppurtunity on having my money becoming bigger than ever. This is one of the practical answer, you don't need to wait for a right timing rather you should just invest and wait till your investment is enough for your satisfaction.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 19, 2017, 12:30:08 PM
I would like to start a discussion about the future of Bitcoin.
The following is my prognosis
The future of Bitcoin
After vears of trying to break the blockchain technology that runs Bitcoin, the bankers and governements finally realized that because blockchiain was a public ledger that kept all transaction and that this ledger could not be hacked or falsified; Bitcoin could not be stopped or blocked. Like email, and i-porn, it used the internet highway and without destroying the internet and its highways of communication, the blockchain technology could not be blocked.

The banks and governments decided on another plan called “f you can`t beat them, join them”. They decided that their only chance was to buy up all the Bitcoins. They started small and encouraged Bitcoin`s price to drop by demanding regulation, not realizing that the blockchain is just a public ledger that can not be regulated. The threat of regulation caused the price of Bitcoin to drop, and when the banks and government thought that the price of Bitcoin would not go any lower, they started to buy up Bitcoins. When people realized that the banks and governments were buying up the Bitcoins, the price of Bitcoins soared in an avalanche. This made banks and governments very rich.

Bitcoin became to be used as electronic money that could not be falsified or tampered with and that could be used as electronic cash replacing coins and notes. The banks and governments started to encourage the use of Bitcoin and replaced their coins and notes with Bitcoins. Then they replaced their plastic credit cards with chips that were implanted and that allowed money transactions to be made much faster and conveniently than with Bitcoin. They made their own centralized and regulated version of Bitcoin and called it i-coin.

After i-coin became convincingly more appealing than Bitcoin, i-coin became widely accepted. Bitcoin became outdated and old fashioned and the price of Bitcoin started to drop. Then there came a time where the only ones that were using Bitcoins were the ones that were afraid of the chip implants, and those that were afraid of the corrupt banks.
Then the corrupt criminals got on the Bitcoin bandwagon, and Bitcoins started to be outlawed in many countries. The decentralized Bitcoin miners - the keepers of the public ledger - became scarcer and scarcer and were overtaken by centralized criminal miners.

Bitcoin became what it started out as-. electronic cash for buying illegal goods. Eventually, the criminals took it over to use as their own black cash for trading one illegal good for another. This caused a boom in illegal goods, and made the criminals very wealthy.

We all know that bitcoin has already proven its credibility already for a very long time. Many people has already witnessed bitcoin's ability to surpass all the obstacles it has faced. Although things are getting tough, bitcoin still managed to overcome it. Just like what happened with China and it is one of the leading miners of bitcoin but look at it now, bitcoin has already recovered from it and even became more better. Hoping for more better outcome in bitcoin.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 11:25:58 PM
I like the inspiration it gives to a lot of us that the traditional system can be changed, that things are not to big or out of reach to be revised, improved, made more appropriate for people.

Cool topic idea.
what i like about bitcoin is that bitcoin is decentraluzed and bitcoin is profitable to many users such as bounty hunters like me. And the payment system is very useful
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: September 13, 2017, 03:12:33 PM
I have brought PC bits and pieces, some subscriptions, I want some Tshirts but have not found a design I want yet, bitcoin from cassicus(sp) but I am mostly saving like I did with fiat that some like to call hoarding
I am using my bitcoin actually to buy things that i need and also the things that can help me. I also buy gadgets for posting for me to have a faster access with bitcoin.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 12, 2017, 04:10:30 PM
This question is being asked many times on this forum. You can check the answers and most of them will suggest you to save/hold/reinvest your bitcoins for longer times. Now as you stated that you kept 13 cents and it became 50 cents after 7 months or so. Well that change you may find very little but with bigger investments you get bigger returns. Also, you must invest with right time, such as bitcoin price at lower side, this means you will get more bitcoins in less amount spent. Also, when the price increases the same amount of bitcoin will have more dollar value. Thats very easy calculation but basis of how you invest. Household really hold it.
If i have a lot of bitcoin. I will spend it and i will not stock it on my wallet. Im just afraid because we all know that bitcoin value is unstable so if i have many bitcoins. Maybe i will spend it to my necessary expenses like my daily needs. Foods, clothes, and budget. Or i will buy new gadgets so that i have something to prove that i have money.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: September 12, 2017, 12:29:33 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?

Study and learn.  The first step to be successful in trade and business.  Aside from that you need to do research and get some successful people as referrence and mimic their strategy.  It works for them there is a big possibility that it will work for you, but of course always make your decision according to your current status.

How can we make more money?

Get a job and add many side jobs.
If you have enough knowledge about investing or many ways of earning here maybe its possible for a person to make enough money that he want. Because how can you earn so much money if you only know is that taking bitcoins in the faucets. Its better for you to know about investing because i think the income there is so high than joining in a signature campaign.
155  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: September 12, 2017, 10:29:25 AM
I was suggested by the bitcoin users the blockchain wallet. This gives ease of usage for every people, even a beginner or first time user will never feel my difficulty or requires a person to explain all about its functionalities.
The wallet i am using is coins.ph where you can convert bitcoin into philippine peso. But i also have a ether wallet because i am joining a signature campaign and sometimes the token i am recieving i converting into ethereum.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 08, 2017, 09:43:52 PM
What If Bitcoin is banned in your country will you still use it?

If you use it how will you? How will you exchange it and how will you completely use it as you do before.

Don't really think this is possible since there is just no point in banning Bitcoin. The countries that ban bitcoin would just be crippling themselves and their economy. Most countries would just tax Bitcoin instead of taxing it.
Yes i agree. What is the reason for banning bitcoin. Its money so why theyre banning it. And theres no proof that bitcoin is not good and illegal. And many investors are investing here.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 31, 2017, 08:06:51 PM
To believe (e.g. to be certain) something like that does not make rational sense. To say that is a statistic probability makes much more sense. However, this has been discussed over and over again. In order for the cryptocurrency space to thrive, it would be most suitable if there were multiple coins at the top and not just one (as currently Bitcoin is). Nobody can say that either one will happen for sure; they would only be speculating.
I dont believe that bitcoin is replaced by other cryptocurrencies because as of now. Bitcoin is popular in many countries and becoming more popular as the time goes by. And also. For me. Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency. And its value is high than others.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: August 30, 2017, 04:15:40 PM
I´ve been asked by two friends. One asked me about the price increase, he asked me about Bitcoin and for cryptocoins and he was interested, especially when I explained him some of the possibilities of bitcoin like use it to send money to other people in other parts of the world or to pay in stores when the adoption of bitcoin is majority. The other person who asked me did it by ramsonware attack, he asked me why they required to be paid in bitcoin.
Actually my family is asking me on how can i get money even if im just a student and does not have enough job to earn. So i tried to tell them about bitcoin but it's hard for them to understand it well on how can i eaen through posting. Because my source of income here in forum is by joining a signature campaign.
159  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Will Bitcoin price reach $5000 before year end? on: August 29, 2017, 01:29:12 AM
Since it's bitcoin expect crazy things from it at tsaka ngayon na mag lolock in na ang segwit sa August 8 expect nalang tayo mas lalo pang tataas ang price ng bitcoin sa susunod na mga araw. Sa tingin ko kaya nag explode ng tudo ang price ng Bitcoin dahil sa BCC dump bumaba ng tuloyan ang price nito dahil sa pag exchange ng mga users ng BCC nila to BTC patunay lang ito mas malakas ang BTC at hindi gusto ng community ang chain split kaya bumaba na sa all time low ang price nito in just a matter of days. Isa lang talaga tunay na bitcoin the rest is altcoin na.

Its unpredictable. Because we all know that bitcoin value is unstable thats why we cant predict. But i hope that it will reach $5000 and so on. I also wish to stay that bitcoin price if that happen. So that i can earn bigger profit. And i can buy more things that i want. And help my family especially in financial aspect.
160  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ang pwede natin gawin para dumami ang bitcoin users sa Pinas? on: August 28, 2017, 02:28:09 PM
