I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Bitcoin is the most popular in terms of cryptocurreny, since it is the first in the market it is more likely to stay forever. And in the new era bitcoin is the new techlonogy. And bitcoin is very transparent and very easy to use. |

some popularity right after bitcoin was first released.There are companies and merchants accepted bitcoin.

Yeah, it is a mainly valid reason, that bitcoin introduce to the world about crypto currency, and when bitcoin came and still bitcoin is here in a good position. When people start to trust on it then sure no problem they have to use it in anywhere. About my thinking for bitcoin, Bitcoin is a hope and give me opportunity to earn. It is right bitcoin is most popular crypto currency and now today its is enough to make rich. |

It is not! Bitcoins were not the first cryptocurrency for everybody's info! If you all check even the white paper of satoshi, he has attributed a lot of works of other cypherpunks. There have been a lot of cryptocurrencies before bitcoins, but only bitcoins made a blockchain which has been the defining feature it had over the others. You better read on your history. Yeah, Satoshi Nakamoto had a lot of projects and cryptocurrency created in the past, but there was had not any project succeed and completly as Bitcoin. Bitcoin had succeeded because it has the blockchain technology and can take advantage all functions from this technology. |

It's the first with success and I can understand why anyone wouldn't mention the ones that came before it because even I can't remember their names. Bitcoin was the first crypto which brought groundbreaking ideas and technology. The blockchain is amazing and will be incorporated in others projects other than Bitcoin a few years down the line. |

Bitcoin has always been the most famous cryptocurrencie because it has been the first one in all the markets, and i think that a lot of people are taking it in consideration because it was $0,007 some years ago, and seeing that now the price is over $5800 is amazing, and a lot of people thinks that the same can happen in some years with the actual price. But there is a lot of people who likes more ethereum than bitcoin, and the same applies with all the altcoins on the market.

It is obvious that this is the main reason why bitcoin is so popular and leading cryptocurrency, if there would any other currency at that time instead of bitcoin then surely it would be the leading one now. In the start people were really impressed by this new technology, its amazing and unique characteristics were attractive so they started invested in it. |

Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency bcause its high price and bitcoin is number one crypto currency. Bitcoin is most popular because it is world first crypto currency. And it is the most old crypto currency. Maximum people use bitcoin so thats why bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency.
Doge coin is also now quite popular. But doge coin price is low. But one day i think doge coin price will be very high. Because doge coin user is increasing. But bitcoin is the best crypto currency. So bitcoin is the most popular.

Yeah, I would have to agree that because it was one of the first crypto coins to be developed it caught on more than the others. But besides that, I feel that it’s popularity has a lot to do with its early adoption by many users and retailers.

I agree, we all know that bitcoin is the oldest in existence among all the other cryptocurrency that's why most of the people are putting up their trust on it. Another thing is that bitcoin has already proven its firmness and capability to surpass all the obstacles it is facing. When it comes to value, bitcoin has still managed to recover even when it was ban in China. All of these reasons maybe the source why most people are giving crediits and appreciation with bitcoin. |
