@boxalex
We're sorry to see you go. I can understand your frustrations though you should keep in mind that a masternode's worth of coins (5,000bwk) is expected to receive on average 1 reward per day. So it's a little silly to be upset that 5% of what masternode collateral is wouldn't be getting massive rewards within 4 days of switching to PoS.
The people that have been patient and lucky have absolutely been receiving rewards with small amounts, some even smaller than what you were holding. A perfect example would be block 188,177 that just passed by in which a person staking 79bwk hit a PoS block. Profitability tends to not favor the impatient.
We wish you the best of luck in all your other investments/endeavors.

Just wanted to touch base and update everyone on the exchange situation. Everything is looking good currently so we've opened Cryptopia back up.
Cryptobridge has not responded to any of our messages to date so we are unsure exactly where they stand in terms of updating and syncing up their exchange wallet. We'll be sure to keep everyone posted as soon as we hear from them.

Some things i noticed:
1.) So far 0 reward for holding 270 BWK. I have several POS wallets for different coins but so far this is doing worst with 0 rewards for the time being. I'am not saying that 270 BWK is a large amount but it for sure should be enough to get at least some staking rewards in my opinion. Something either doesn't work as intended or it's one of the worst staking projects i have encountered so far.
2.) Nobody so far shared his staking awards, i'am really curious how much reward someone with x BWK gets, if anybody is getting something at all.
3.) Noticed just right now that BWK exchange on cryptopia is on hold due Dev request .....
1) too few coins to stake often but make sure you are on the same block as the explorer I've forked a couple of times 2) I've been getting 2-3 rewards a day with 4400 ish coins 3) no idea on that possibly due to fork issues since switching to pos Thx for your answers/suggestions/assumptions 1.) If these are too few coins for staking that this POS model isn't for the wide community. As said, i'am staking a lot of coins and rewards come in all the time, be in minor rewards every some minutes or hours. But NOT getting any staking reward doesn't make much sense. I will give it 1 or 2 more days eventually and switch to another POS coin with fair chances for smaller to mid holders. Pretty sure many others will do the same if it works like that as it makes no sense to hold whatever < big amount without rewards. 2.) How big is reward for 4400 coins? 24h average eventually if you don't mind? 3.) Cryptopia worked yesterday perfectly. It most be a recent after fork request from the Devs to disable trading on cryptopia in the last ~24 hours. Considering 5,000bwk would on average receive about one reward a day, it's not out of the ordinary to expect staking a few hundred would take longer than a couple days to receive a staking reward. Just be patient. You'll get a reward soon enough.

How much does it take to get the coins ready for staking? I have installed the wallet, sent my bwk coins in it, and that's all i did; on the bottom right corner the pointing up arrow says that "Staking is not active", does it change by itself here, i just have to wait a period of time? (coins to mature). Staking is already enabled, when i press the enable staking button (enable by default). Coins were sent ~14hours ago. Thanks!
You may need to close your wallet, reopen it, then wait for it to fully sync 100% (the syncing indicator at the bottom of the window disappears completely), then unlock the wallet for staking and give it a few minutes.

Staking has started...but I still did not received any reward.
Probably you need to have a lot of Bulwark coins
Same here, not sure if there is any chance to receive a reward with 250 BWK, but on other POS coins someone has at least a weight on the network and an assumption when someone could/should receive a reward what i'am totally missing in the Bulwark Desktop Wallet :-( Would be usefull if some Stakers that receiced allready some reward(s) share with how much they stake and how often and how high rewards they got ..... This is purely speculation but it would see that people are enjoying a "sweet spot" of staking stacks of 2500bwk.

There is an slight element of luck to it though it would depend on what your definition of "a lot" is. We've seen quite a few people with just a few hundred coins receive a staking reward already.

Cool, how long does it take again for the mn to really start? And can this be monitored somehow?
About 24 hours start up period and then whatever the average masternode payout time is to receive the first payment. Then each subsequent payment should be received in about what the average masternode payout time is. https://explorer.bulwarkcrypto.com has the average masternode payment time listed and updated automatically.

Any pool working ? POW end ?
Correct. PoW is now over. However, if you have asics, fpgas, or gpus and would like to still be able to earn Bulwark with them, you can head over to https://www.mining-dutch.nl/ and mine on their pool. It's a profit changing pool and they will continue to allow Bulwark as a payment option to auto-convert to. So with that neat little loophole/partnership, you can still technically earn Bulwark with your miners. How's you espierience with this pool? I have tried to mine something there but the commision was high and i got feeling that I could do better anywhere else with my rig. I've used MiningDutch quite a bit. It's very useful for mining whatever is most profitable and getting to get paid in the coin of your choice instead of having to wait for mining payments, send to an exchange, sell, and then buy the coin you want.

started trying to stake this morning. On most wallets the staking icon changes to green when staking however this hasn't happened with bulwark, hovering over the icon states "Staking is active" so should be staking hopefully get a reward soon
edit:
hit a block a few hours ago orphaned which happens but the wallet hanged at 1 confirm and stopped syncing with the network only just noticed but it was about an hour behind. I've restarted the wallet and its now synced again
The icon goes from a washed out grey to black when staking is active. Orphans and sync issues are to be expected for the first few days while the network stabilizes itself.

i have mined for a while but i got tired of it. maybe if would have stayed on top of it i would have had a masternode now You can always stake what you have now and work your way towards one

We look forward to beginning work on some very exciting new developments and bringing them to you all in the near future!
p.s. Cryptopia and Cryptobridge withdrawals & deposits are enabled now.

Once you reach PoS, I'm interested in what the plans are over the next 12 months to expand the project. Reason I ask, is that with PoW, you often get a steady stream of 'new' people getting involved, as they can earn coins through mining without feeling like they need to trade away from a different coin to be involved and get bulwark. When you reach PoS, the only way for new people to get bulwark will be through trading for it, which generally means losing coins somewhere else. You'll also have heavy holders of bulwark getting even more bulwark, due to the nature of PoS, potentially reducing the 'spread' of new people with bulwark. So plans after PoS over the next few months will be particularly important to expand bulwark We've got quite a few very exciting developments planned over the next few months

Wish many investor support your plan when ICO will begin! Outstanding idea, riveting business, aware vision!
While I appreciate the supportive spam, we're not an ICO.

Just wanted to provide a quick update to those that have noticed Cryptopia is in maintenance mode. Yesterday we had a slight issue with a couple pools that had not updated to v1.3 like they were supposed to and caused some minor chain splits once the spork was activated.
While this didn't directly endanger the network at all, we felt it would be best to lock things down and give those pools a heads up and wait until they updated considering their miners were unknowingly mining non-existent coins. The two situations were the pool making mining payments to miners also on pre-1.3 versions that can't send them anywhere anyways, or miners that updated to 1.3 not being able to receive their mining payments.
All offending pools have since updated, so that's already cleared up. Considering we're coming up on PoS in approximately two days and were wanting to put ourselves in maintenance for that anyways, we've decided we're just going to leave Bulwark in maintenance instead of taking it out and then having to put it back in tomorrow.
Thank you everybody for your patience. Once we've successfully crossed over into PoS and everything is looking good we'll contact the exchanges and open things back up.

Congratulations on successful launch.
What's an average hashrate for 1060?
I'm at 29 mh/s
Since FPGAs have started mining nist5(Bulwark), GPU mining isn't really efficient anymore. I would suggest mining whatever is most profitable then selling it to buy Bulwark if that's your goal.
