The nicehash hack is a blessing. Makes mining this coin possible for the normal miner instead of the hash buyer. Death to centralized mining!

A lot of people lost a lot of money because of their negligence unfortunately. Though it does seem to be returning some power/profits to the individual miner.

Any news on COINMARKETCAP listing?

Application has been submitted. All we can do at this point is wait for the listing to occur.

ATTENTION

The Umine.org pool has been ddosed and doesn't seem to have recovered yet.

If you are on that pool, please move your miners to one of the other available pools:

http://pool.minertopia.org/

http://yiimp.poolofd32th.club/

https://blocksuckernation.com/site/mining

EDIT: It seems to be back up now.

Project looks great.

What's the thinking behind a five year POW period? Are you hoping that pow miners will help the coin become 'established' and then transition to be involved in masternodes down the track. Or is it more that POS will replace POW, and your focus (and rewards) are on masternodes since that is what is mainly required to keep the system secure?

We do not have a five year PoW period. The Proof of Work and Masternodes phase only lasts approximately one year. After that, it will switch to Proof of Stake and Masternodes.

I think the confusion here is because the OP states: "The PoW phase will start with a block reward of 50 BWK and decrease quarterly until PoS Year 6" (emphasis added as this seems to be a typo or need clearer indication of the actual plan -- I'd suggest reframing this bolded part to read something like: "during the year-long Pow phase" or "over the course of the year-long PoW phase").

Immediately below that it has the quarterly schedule of PoW rewards; the two lines taken together make evident that something is awry or inconsistent.

I can see where you might be able to misconstrue that. We'll put it on our list to revise the language to make it more understandable. Thank you for spotting that!

look at what blocks umine credit to miners and look at what blocks get paid to its adress. they steal a lot of blocks, miners beware.

Can you share details please and not just make accusations?

I would also be appreciative if you can provide proof. If there are clear cut facts that this is occurring, I will remove them from our list of pools.

If not, please don't slander honest pool operators unless you have physical proof to back it up.

how to set MN on windows?

I would suggest renting a linux VPS on a website like www.vultr.com

I'd use Ubuntu 16.04. The cheapest server is $5/month and you can preload your account with bitcoin after you put in verified credit/debit card information.
This is all certainly excellent. But I can run MN and myself on several computers. ON THE WINDOWS !!! I wonder whether this is possible in principle. If not, why is it not written on the first page?

The reason is that your public IP gets posted in the wallet when you run a masternode unless you put it through TOR(we have this available, I'm the wrong person to ask regarding how to utilize this service though). I'm sure you can appreciate the sentiment behind us not suggesting you host it locally where people could potentially ddos your home network.

Whereas if you do it on a remote rented VPS and it gets attacked. You can just destroy it and set up a new one no problem.
Please tell me how to configure the windows.

On our discord in the #masternodes room there is a guide that should help you configure a masternode. If you have issues, somebody in there should be able to help you.

Need a good pool, for example altminer. umine steals coins.

Can you prove that?

I'd be hard pressed to believe they steal coins. I've mined on their pools many times in the past and have never had an issue.

I've been mining this project, the team has done a fantastic job of getting on multiple exchanges in the first few days! Very excited for this coin.

Thank you very much for the kind words. If you'd like to see one of the most recent updates, check the #announcements page on our Discord.

We recently added ten full TOR nodes to provide an onion only network for Bulwark.

Bulwark Update!

Have added ten(!) full bulwark TOR nodes.  In addition to providing an onion-only network for bulwark, these ten nodes are also ten mode nodes strengthening the TOR network.

in exchange, buy order is very low.
Dev, you need to list BULWARK in a masternode list like: mnrank.com, masternodes.pro,...etc...

We are working toward listing on these sites, Coin Market Cap, and additional exchanges.  We have applied to CMC and are awaiting approval.  Once approved by CMC, some the Masternode sites that use the CMC API will be able to list our coin. This launch exceeded our wildest expectations and we are both excited, and grateful, for the amount of support we are seeing put behind this coin.  Can you believe that we hit 1 TH/S nethash within 72 hours of launch.  That's approximately 20,000 GPU's pointed at BWK!!!!

Let's do some math:

There are 19 Masternodes on the network currently.   Each MN receives roughly 1/19th of the 9600 BWK allocated for Masternodes.  A Masternode requires 5000 BWK.  With current numbers, nodes will produce 5000 BWK within TEN DAYS.  Think about that! Remember that node rewards are currently 80/20 favoring miners and will gradually scale to 50/50 over the next 90 days.   The number of nodes will scale up, but so will the rewards.

There are a total of 7,600 BWK for sale on Coinsmarkets (https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-BWK.htm), but there's a big gap between Ask / Sell and the people asking aren't really moving toward the buy-side on the order book.   This is healthy market making activity and we want a natural price point to emerge from normal market forces.

Are you surprised 1 TH/S nethash within 72 hours of launch ? seriously? Now it is a reality, nicehash bombards any shit coins at the beginning of his run.

We're still frequently seeing 400Gh/s nethash without counting nicehash mining power. We are very happy to see this kind of attention and support.

I do not understand what annual percentage POS?

It is not a percentage exactly.

Once we go into PoS, block rewards will then begin getting split up with 45% going to PoS Stakers, 45% going to Masternode Operators, and 10% being allocated to a community fund for  a variety of different uses.

We employ the See-Saw Rewards mechanism which means that as there are more Masternodes on the network, profitability will shift slightly towards favoring stakers (For example, 50% PoS / 40% Masternodes). As Masternodes are taken off the network and more people are PoS, the rewards will shift to favor the remaining Masternode Operators instead (For example, 40% PoS/ 50% Masternode)

The way this system is designed is that it will provide fluid block reward structures that will allow for both masternode hosting as well as coin staking to continue being profitable while providing liquidity to help promote trading.

BWK just listed on stocks.exchange
Nice!
Beside that, last confirmed share at blocksuckernation bwk pool was 108m ago

More exchanges are good. Still the price has grown to 100 000 satoshi, but there is a feeling that it will fall ... =)

Pricing on both pools would seem to reflect more around the 16-20k satoshi price point, not 100,000 sats. It seems to be stabilizing more around 19,000 satoshis. Both exchange listings for the coin are still very new so it wouldn't be out of the question to believe it will take a few more days for a more solidified starting price point to show itself.

This coin smells like signatum and polytimos
With its modified miners
By the way, did you sell your polytimos?

Im not seeing any modified miners. Im using straight Nist5 from CC and getting solid rewards from these pools.
While Im not saying its not weird, definitely disconcerting that it is similar to Sigt - just sayin, I've seen a ton of conjecture.

Well, see for yourself
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2409413.120

@Angelo
I'm unsure how an unassociated project having a custom algorithm makes Bulwark "smell" like it. Could you elaborate?

Is it because the Bulwark team is comprised mostly of miners at heart and we have been in the cryptocurrency world for a while, meaning we have mined many different kinds of coins, one of which happened to be Polytimos.

If so, I apologize that a few of us mining a coin you do not particularly like has caused you to view this coin with any sort of similarities. If you wouldn't mind, I would love if you could go read the Polytimos ANN and then read the Bulwark ANN and provide some legitimate reasons as to why you think they could be connected or similar in any way.

@OGTeamCrypton

One could also argue that the only good things that came out of the sigt project were a direct result of the efforts of people from our team, not the "official" team. We've long since disassociated with the cancerous people that ran that coin into the ground and set out on a many months long journey to build our own coin that had all the strengths of a great coin and none of the shortcomings. I apologize that my past efforts to help a project turned out to be run by a scammer and that we split from the project when we realized development was never going to go anywhere we believed the community deserved it to. We are all on Bulwark for the long game and will be continuing to work our hardest to make it the best project it possibly can be. Of this I can happily and confidently assure all of you.

Not at this moment. Our marketing guy, Jack, has quite a few fantastic events planned over the next year.

Edit: Looks like he deleted his comment. I'll leave this anyways in case somebody else has the same question.
