201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: March 01, 2017, 12:27:44 AM
Well I just wanted to say a big congrats to the entire DASH team and community for reaching #3 in crypto only behind BTC and ETH.

I've been holding my DASH and slowly buying more over the last few years as i've never had any doubts whatsoever.

I am sorry that I haven't been a part of the community in recent times, I used to write some DASH (or Darkcoin) articles back in the day but haven't helped out much recently.

I'd like to get a little more involved again in the future.

Congrats again to Evan and the team.

Almost exactly the same thing has happened to me.
I guess I will have to wait until they release a half way decent client, then I will get my ETH back.

You do realise that you don't need a fully synced wallet to spend you ETH?

yeh i know, i've got 0.8.7 running on one pc and 0.8.6 running on another and neither of them ever sync, they've been running for a week almost now and always 1000 blocks behind or more.  Neither of them see my ETH balance either.

I log into My Ether wallet, import my keystore file and bang, my full balance is there.  I've transferred it out to a Jaxx wallet now and backed it all up.  Ethererum wallet/Mist can get stuffed, not wasting my time with their wallets any more.

I guess you're on the wrong fork. Are you using the latest ethereum wallet 0.8.7?

Download here: https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases

thanks i'm on the 0.8.7 release but the wallet never syncs, it's always 1000-2000 blocks behind and my balance still doesnt show up.  the eth transactions are from April this year so i dont understand why they're not there?  Will my balance be carried over with the hardfork that happened a couple of months ago?

I think i'll use the myetherwallet thing as mentioned above.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 14, 2016, 12:55:40 AM
Hey all, so i had to re-install my ethereum wallet on a new pc as the old hard drive ran out of space.

I copied my Keystore file and have copied it into the newly downloaded wallet.

The wallet is taking days to fully sync, it's still about 1000 blocks away and never quite reaches 100%.

My wallet however is showing 0 ETH balance when i've checked the blockchain and it should hold approx 25 ETH.

Any idea why the wallet is not showing my balance and why it's taking so freaking long to sync?

so i've not really been following ETH however I am interested.  I've bought some ether on the exchange however I'm not sure what wallet to use?  It seems there's no official gui type wallet available?

I dont trust any exchanges anymore after losing shitload of DASH on cryptsy so i want to get my ether off the exchange asap!

Thanks

With a new good looking website, this can continue more and more  Grin

Undoubtedly it is .. there's many decent looking, total BS sites up right now, taking money from greedy little idiots.

I wonder .. after tonight, now many people still think TheCleanGame is still a good guy.  If he isn't Admin, he def gives him head regularly.  Can you believe he actually asked for personal loans from his IRC fan club while his boyfriend was stealing all their money!?

We going to find these m*f*ers.

i have the location of scrypt.cc servers with me...everything abt it....just pm if u guys need

no you dont

the 150btc have just been moved out of the hot wallet to the other wallet.  usually that means withdrawals will go through now
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: September 08, 2015, 03:24:49 AM
ThePhwner & suchmoon, Can you tell us how much they have lost between xpy & scrypt.cc? It is only for a reference of what useless than a human being can become ..  I hope your answers.

If I understand your question correctly - I did not lose anything with XPY because I didn't buy into it. I lost maybe a few bucks on the 1 BTC worth of hashlets that I bought for my now discontinued stats project. Same with scrypt.cc - I purchased some KHS more than a year ago to track their profitability so I know quite well how it progressed.

Does that answer your question?

I rented out my mining rigs to PayCoin believers and made a killing. So, I didn't lose anything there. W/rt to ScryptCC, during the couple weeks I was an investor and checking things out, I managed to sell for about the same price I bought and I think I came out ahead .1-.2 with the mining during that time. I've disclosed this before.

That being said, it doesn't make ScryptCC any less of a scam, and this isn't a Paycoin thread. I don't know what conclusion you're trying to draw from the mish-mash you posted above, but unless its relevant to proof of mining for ScryptCC, please post it elsewhere.
Paycoin haha  i had some hashlets from day one, maked a huge profit selling them.

I made a small profit but could have tripled my money if I hadn't hung on and sold all the primes about $40.   I sold about 1/3 of what I held.

i had a couple of primes but the sit got hacked or something didnt it?  there's no way to retrieve any btc from there now is there?

218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 30, 2015, 10:12:34 AM
the withdraws will come through...the guy is not gonna re-do the website, change over khashes to mhashes, update the pages and dashboard and then shut the site down.  it's obivous the site isnt going anywhere just yet.

obviously admin dont stick to their dates/timeframes but payments always come through.

i have 2 pending withdraws which will probably come in the next day or 2 i imagine based on whats happened over the last couple of weeks.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 25, 2015, 05:28:21 AM
sites down again now...
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 24, 2015, 10:48:03 AM
sometimes I kinda wish that the site would just shut down and everybody moves on with their life....

but on the other hand it is pretty interesting reading all the crap on this thread and being invested in the site...wondering where will rewards go to next and for any news and updates from admin!

Well, i'm still going to stick to my belief that this is not a ponzi but rather a poorly managed cloud mining operation.  my $50/day rewards are now a thing of the past unfortuntaely and i'm down to $5 per day...still, better than nothin i guess!
