so what makes NET so much better than all the other Crypto coins?  It seems NET, DGC and WDC are some of the bigger coins with more potential but I dont get why?  Is it just they have more active developers and more marketing?  They dont really offer anything that LTC or any other alt crypto currency doesnt offer already?

I think Ripple XRP and TimeKoin are 2 completely different currencies.  TimeKoin based on time rather than hashing power and XRP is, well I find it kinda hard to explain really which could be a bit of a downfall for it but i'm currently 'mining' it via World Community Grid.  I run TimeKoin on the same PC as it uses almost no extra power.

Hey, i signed up for the Ripple Labs World Comminty Grid team and started accumlating points about 5 days ago.

I still havenet had any XRP paid to my account even though it says payouts are daily.

When i try to check my stats at Computingforgood.org it just shows a blank screen.

Any idea what i'm doing wrong?  I linked my XRP wallet to my user account as per instructions etc

There already is a crypto currency based on time rather than hashing power. It uses next to no PC resources, minimal electricity and it's by one of the people involved with Bitcoin at the start.

It doesnt matter how powerful your PC is at the only factor for currency generation is time ie how long your PC/server has been running.

I've had my TimeKoin server running for about 2 weeks and in that time the total number of servers has gone from 20 to about 70!

I run it on my mining PC which is running 24x7 so I can 'mine' 2 different currencies simultaneously.

no not directed at you, mainly 1 poster who accuses h20 of stealing!

I too am interested in why payouts were lower, i just think some peoples reactions and comments are a bit harsh.  Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, i'm confident H20 can do a better job than me choosing what coins to mine so i'll stick with him.

with a decent PSU you'll be able to lower the voltage more too.  I get the Sick/Dead miner occasionaly when i push voltages too low.

When times are good you all love Middlecoin, then on the odd occasion we get a shitty payout you start bitching and moaning like the world is gonna end.

I getting constant disconnects with the US server.  Has been working great for weeks but in the last few days it just disconnects and re-connects every few minutes.  Is that coz it was constantly switching coins as I notice each time it disconnected the difficulty changed?

i'm just gonna mine SXC/DGC til Monday then i'll go back to the US server again.

Hey all, from Australia.  new to the whole bitcoin/litecoin thing...

Hey all, just a quick question.  I wired some money to Mt Gox Wednesday last week (17th Apri) and it still hasnt shown up in my account.

Any idea how long it takes for wire transfers to go through?  I'm still waiting to be verified so I couldnt do a domestic transfer and had to do an International one instead ( from Australia).
