I agree that people trying to make money are making people sick by teaching or preaching teinted doctrines about health, and pushing drugs on people.

I don't think bitcoin is all that well known.

People who read those recent news stories about bitcoin are a minority in the world, and not everyone is really into those kinds of topics, so I think bitcoin may be somewhat known amongst a minority of people but that is about it.

There are alt-coins, and some of them are much less known that the name 'bitcoin'.

Have you wondered about any of the alt-coins?

I got involved with Goldcoin myself, and I think GLDcoin may enjoy a steep increase in similtude to bitcoin.

There isn't really much difference between bitcoin and GLDcoin. bitcoin is much more expensive though, so any percentage increases in bitcoin are likely to be much smaller than percentage increases in Goldcoin.

Bitcoins may rise or fall in value.

I recently have been collecting these Goldcoins and each Goldcoin only costs me fractions of a penny.
I think Goldcoin will have much larger percentage gains than bitcoin will have.

Okay, I was just thinking about bitcoins and how amazing they are. Then I realized that it is inevitable for the price of bitcoins to go up over time, because as each person decides they will accept bitcoins the overall network effect increases. As the population of the world is increasing, so too must the price of bitcoins. I look forward to the amazing world we will build together using this wonderful technology.

I highly doubt very much, that there is an 'amazing world we will build together' using bitcoins.

Bitcoins are just another way of using money is all. If bitcoins ever level off more, then they will become just as boring as any of the currencies. Perhaps the hope of huge percentage increases, if a person bought lower, might be what you mean?
But if so, then why don't you consider buying into some of the so-called 'alt-coins', and those coins are much less expensive than bitcoins, with perhaps much larger percentage increases for some of them coming in the future.

The problems surrounding money in the past will continue with bitcoins as with other forms of money.

The bible says that money is the root of all evil.

I just got started here as well, and I like GLDcoin

Goldcoin is traded at cryptsy.com and you will find a large amount of alt-coins traded there.

I am suspicious of alot of these accusers on these forums who know that bitcoin was a premine, and yet they support bitcoin, and then go around preaching that they hate premine.

What I do, is I am ignoring these continual accusers now by clicking on the ignore button under their username.

I also believe that all of the 'alt-coins' are actually copy and paste from the first coin called 'bitcoin', and a good name for any of these alt-coins is needed and may be what sets that coin apart from the rest.

I also believe that it may be good for relationships on these forums for miners to be more faithful and back the coins they like rather than behaving like harlots and chasing after whichever one is paying the most today.

Any of the coins will have its ups and downs, and its the people who stick with a coin whether it is up or down, who are making the coin more successful.

419  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is stealing Bitcoins illegal? on: June 12, 2013, 06:27:43 AM

I think Gods laws say 'you shall not steal'.

People who do not believe in God, may think they are not under Gods laws, but in fact, according to some interpretations of the holy bible, their non-belief means that they are under Gods laws, though they do not think they are.

Whereas, those who have faith in Jesus Christ, are not under the law, or may not be under the law.

To the non-believer, they may find this hard to understand.

Stealing is always against Gods laws.

Specific states or governments or kings or queens in various locations may not have created specific laws at times; but people who do evil are having impunity. Just because a state or government did not create a specific law, does not mean it is not against the law to steal.

But judgments may deviate depending on many different factors. Some lawyers might cling to the fact that the state failed to create any specific laws for a matter, and might win, I think this is possible but I don't really know.

But Gods laws are always that you shall not steal. To be on the safe side, don't steal.
