183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking to Record your palm print to withdraw Bitcoin - Vote on: November 01, 2013, 10:30:59 AM

People who accuse of 'money laundering' are perhaps money launderers themselves, or are using that
as some kind of smokescreen, while they have other secret agendas that are beneficial to themselves or their
associates.

From what I see in the poll results, it looks like we really don't like the scanning of the palm thing.

I missed out on the early bitcoin thing, but only because of circumstances and situations beyond my control,
or else I believe I would be on that list. ( I remember finding bitcoin in the fall of 2009 , but I was struggling for my life at the time, and all my money went to keep me alive, and I still did not have enough.  )

185  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: BankAccount.pw domain name for sale on: November 01, 2013, 02:35:55 AM

Reply here if you believe in Jesus Christ.

Hi, I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord,

and that Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day

I also believe that if you say that with your mouth,
and believe it in your heart,

Then you will be saved.

Read my Sig, and you see that I am a website designer, but I am also thinking
about getting some backlinks to some Jesus Christ believing websites.
Maybe we can exchange links if you have a Jesus Christ website?
And if it is also a bitcoin site somehow, then all the better. Smiley

Please read what I said at first, and then you will realize that some of you are posting off-topic here.
This is not a thread for debating with fools about whether God is, or whether Jesus is, or not.

And I quote from the Holy Bible: 'The Fool Has Said In His Heart, There Is No God'

What did I say in my first post?
Reply here in this thread if you believe in Jesus Christ

Not only are some people blind and deaf, but they also cannot read, nor understand. Smiley

1- When I posted, I did not really expect this
thread to become so popular, but wow,
hey, if people like to discuss this,
then that is fine with me.

2- I find that I am not really able to convince
people to have faith or belief in jesus.
But 'when it pleases God, then he will reveal
his son to you
'

3- I thank everyone who is replying who has
faith in jesus christ, for staying on topic.

4- I am hopeful that the bitcoin community
will be supportive of my new website at
saveme.info and drop by to give a little
to one or more of the people who are asking
for some bitcoin donations, or come on by and
get your own bitcoin donation webpage if you
want.

Bitcoin donations can be received anonymously at
saveme.info or you can chose to reveal who you
are, if you want to. its up to you.

You have me working for you, to try and advertise
the site, and thereby when people come to the site,
they might click on your link, and read your story,
and they might have compassion and give some
bitcoins to you.

Thank you again to everyone for replying
and remember that

Jesus Christ Is Lord
And God Raised Jesus from the Dead on The third day

Jesus said: 'If I go and come again, then you will
know that you will do the same
'

 Praise the Lord Smiley

Thanks.

I also think that computers or images in general are transgressing Gods laws, but I can be involved, so that the Gospel is not impeded. HOW ARE THEY TO BELIEVE UNLESS THEY HEAR ?
Huh

So you can transgress as long as good comes from it?

The bible says somewhere, something about people who think : 'Let us do evil, that good will come', but their condemnation is just."

What that means, is that 'No', it is not ok to do evil, in order that good will or might come.

But, the bible provides various 'clauses' to allow for involvment in sinful works, such as the PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. The good news.

And when I mention Jesus Christ on the net, while I am wasting my time, then it is that faith that saves me.(kind of like that).

But various people who believe in Jesus might interpret these scriptures in various ways.

I also doubt that God would want believers to die of starvation, if in fact it ever gets to the point where we sin just in order eat. But those who do die, will be rewarded likely, whereas there is less punishments if they did it so they might eat.

I don't know, I have to reason with the holy bible, you know.

Isaiah 1:18
'
"Come now, and let us reason together, Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool."
'

Can I reply even if I don't?

Do you know that some groups believe that there will be a "one world currency" near the end of times? Have you encountered Christians that think it is bitcoin? What are your thoughts? Do you see bitcoin as a free alternative to the future one world currency?

Of course you can reply. You just did.

No, I am not really all that familiar with any groups who believe there will be a 'one world currency'.

To be honest, I think I have only contacted a couple of 'christians' about bitcoin, and only briefly, so we didn't really get to talk about things like this.

My thoughts are that I AM SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN HE WHO DIED FOR ME
I also think that computers or images in general are transgressing Gods laws, but I can be involved, so that the Gospel is not impeded. HOW ARE THEY TO BELIEVE UNLESS THEY HEAR ?

I don't know if I see bitcoin as a free alternative to the 'future one world currency'. I wonder if maybe any internet currency might actually have already become a world-wide currency already. But then, perhaps some locations outlawed some of the internet currencies. Bitcoin got beat by Linden dollars from second life by the way, because Linden dollars were here before bitcoin was, I think.

I hope that answers your questions. Smiley

197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie from Indonesia with some questions! on: October 28, 2013, 07:58:25 AM
Hey everyone,

I'm a student from Indonesia and have been following bitcoin on and off for about a year. I mind as well ask some stupid questions I have been thinking about so this post isn't just spam Tongue

1. Are sites like bitvisitor.com and the likes safe? I mean couldn't someone advertise a site that has a keylogger/malware/virus?

2. How do you think bitcoin will overcome the difficulties of being too technical/unsafe for the 'average joe'?

3. Some time ago I mined some litcoins and put them up at btc-e to trade for 0.03 bitcoins but it turns out that I need 0.1 to withdraw! Anyone have any practical solutions?

Oh, and if anyone is selling bitcoins here in Indo hit me up!

Thanks guys  Grin

1- I also wonder about viruses on any websites on the net. Perhaps the safest way to view a site that I know of, is to use Tor, but also use a proxy service through Tor to view the website. Never had any virus problems doing it that way.

2- I don't really think bitcoin is all that hard to use at all. Just download the wallet, and then get some bitcoins, and you are good to go. Much easier than paypal, and allows alot of freedoms with having your own wallet on your own pc and such.

3- I think you can use cryptsy.com and sell your litecoins for bitcoins, and the withdrawal charge at cryptsy for bitcoins is much less. ( I haven't checked it, but i think it is much cheaper )

Multiple lines of text is the requirement to get this damn post rule lifted.

Requirement.. Interesting.  I haven't felt this way since banging out bullshit papers in high school in college that I didn't care about.  I need to make a post in a subsection of this forum regarding a specific web service that I use bitcoins for, but first I must make a post and wait 4 hours.  Great.  So stoked.  To find this forum you have to have some knowledge about bitcoins..  The beauty of the bitcoin, is the idea behind it, not the opportunities for wealth that it creates.  Its the principle.  Its the giant middle finger to the overgrown monstrosities of western government and regulation.  It's the refreshing sentiment that commerce alone can be self sustaining without watchdogs and thieves that parade about as bankers, politicians, traders, etc.  I don't know where this is going, but if you have the misfortune of reading this, just remember; the bitcoin is a first step in the right direction away from a failing system.  One that may seem like it merely pertains to economics but that is really much wider reaching.  Hopefully it will help us break through and into a new paradigm.  One in which men don't work for corporations in which their main offering is helping other corporations become more efficient.  My business helps your business help other businesses perform better at helping yet other businesses. Awesome. Its a giant circle jerk in which no real value is created and nothing substantial is gained failing to push the ball forward for our species.  Our growth is stunted as NASAs manned missions are abandon, religious fanatics have more sway in collective decisions than analytical scientists, and as every time an interesting substance is discovered and heads toward the mainstream our giant commerce, greed infused bully government makes it illegal -LSD,MDMA,Marijuana, U name it. But they push alcoholism on everyone they can and push crack into the ghettos.

Let the bitcoin destroy modern economics.  The current state of capitalism makes life a game, and don't get me wrong games are fun, but they have winners and LOSERS.  And it sucks to lose.  Especially when your existence is a constant losing battle.  Shit, I can't personally relate but we do some fucked up things to our fellow man just to "get ahead".

To move forward you have to realize which direction that is.  Then you have to stop moving the direction your in, adjust, and move in the correct direction.  We are going the wrong way right now.

Multiple lines of text is the requirement to get this damn post rule lifted.

Is it true that 'multiple lines of text is the requirement to get the post rule lifted' HuhHuh?

I never heard of that before, but I don't know everything.

Where did you hear that from??
