Vod. For one thing, you have been attacking people who believe in Jesus Christ on this thread, even though I have told you many times, that I did ask for people who believe in Jesus Christ to reply to this thread.

You stand in accusation of the brethren all the day long vod.

Do you know who the holy bible says it is, that does that?

The devil, vod.

Jesus Christ died to save sinners

You Have Got To Have Faith.

But when you are talking about evil that the state may do,

perhaps you are referring to perversions of members of the state?

When members of the state pervert state laws that are 'good',

perhaps condemning 'innocent' persons?

Sure, that can happen too, but they are supposed to be ministers of good unto the population.

There are mysteries.

Ok, so if the ruler is a tyrant and evil workmen abound, then perhaps consider that in general the people would not repent, and the people were in general being evil, so the wrath of God came upon them? The good and the evil might get caught up in large political upheavals like this.

God is Sovereign!

God Appoints Whom He Wills To Rule Over The Kingdoms Of Man

The holy bible also mentions the 'Man Of Sin' and so, perhaps strangely there may be events that are occurring because of the evil of a person, somehow 'outside' of the power of God? (I somehow wonder if this is ever possible?)

By the way, vod, I was a non-believer for over 30 years of my life, and if I can be forgiven, then perhaps you can too. I had a rough conversion. Don't mock me.

146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: State laws compared to Gods laws on: November 05, 2013, 07:11:44 AM
back on topic

The state is the minister of good unto you.

People who are doing good should have nothing to fear from the state or its laws.

People who do evil do have reason to fear the state and the state laws.

And of all the evil the state accomplishes, who do they fear?  Certainly not God.

The 'evil' that the state accomplishes may be kind of a mystery. Have you ever considered talking to an ordained priest and ask him what that is about?

I will tell you, that in general, you ought to fear the state.

If God Did Not Spare His Own Son, Then You Should Fear The State, because the state is Gods minister of Good unto you, but if you will not do good, then you should fear.

But as you know, God did not spare his own son, and Jesus was without sin.

So there is mysteries. Unsearchable riches.

The world according to Vod! Vod thinks that Vod is the 'way, the truth and the life'

Sorry fool.  Vod thinks the truth itself is the 'way.  The dark ages have been over for centuries - there are no room for imaginary gods in the age of reason.

Quote
Any man who calls another man a fool will be in danger of the judgement

The Fool has said in his heart that there is no God - Holy Bible

I am not calling you a fool, vod, but the holy bible says you are a fool

Vod? you are out of line, and posting off-topic in a thread where I specifically asked for people who believe in Jesus Christ to reply.

I will ask you again, to please make your own thread, and you can discuss your apostacy there.
It is not my job to convince you to believe in Jesus Christ. In fact, it is not really possible for me to do that,
but "when it pleases God, he will reveal his son to you"

That may be in this life time, or perhaps with fire and indignation at the resurrection of the dead.

Your 'choice' Vod.

But God has blinded their eyes, so that seeing they do not see, and God has waxed their ears gross, so that hearing they do not hear; lest they believe and be saved.

Vod? That means you are under wrath my friend.

In my last post I provided excellent evidence that your JC probably doesn't exist.  Yet your brainwashed mind chose to simply ignore it.  lol

Your cult is funny - just recently I had another user saying he spoke for your entire religion that I was possessed.   Cheesy

If you want to try and brainwash others with your nonsense - expect me to be here with a little dose of reality.

The world according to Vod! Vod thinks that Vod is the 'way, the truth and the life'

But we know that can't be true, because Jesus said:

'I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE
'
150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: State laws compared to Gods laws on: November 05, 2013, 06:43:18 AM

ok, vod, why don't you look it up at wikipedia, and come back and tell us where they have categorized the true God then.

Sure - what is the URL that says your god is the true one?

Post it here than everyone can see.    Cheesy

You are only making any kind of point at all with other non-believers vod. But by mocking as you have done a few times, you are making yourself look bad to the rest of us. I think you said you are from Canada?
I think that most of the politicians in canada say they believe in Jesus, or they may not use those words, but may say they have christian affiliations somehow. I think steven harper is a christian.

George Bush was being interviewed, and they asked George who he thought was the most important person in history...

George Bush replied: "Jesus Christ!"

The most important person in history, and I agree with George Bush on that one.

Believing in jesus does not make us stupid vod.

Rather, the bible tells us: 'BE WISE AS SERPENTS, BUT HARMLESS AS DOVES'

I thought the state kind of had its beginnings because of people wanting or needing a leader?
And it grows from that, and becomes the state.

Also, transgressions occur, and people want or need some rules. Once again, justifications for the state.

That is the direct cause of false religion - the need for people to believe in something.

What does that have to do with state laws, or Gods laws, vod? You are off-topic
153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: State laws compared to Gods laws on: November 05, 2013, 06:21:04 AM

There is only one God.

You need to get our of your basement and see the world.

There are hundreds of gods believed in out there - each one with the same conviction you have for yours.

For you to claim you are right and the vast majority of the human population is wrong is just vain, and it shows your mental state.

"You shall have no other Gods before Me" ...

This is a thread for debating about state laws compared to Gods laws. This is not a thread to debate about all the pagan Gods, compared to the true God.

The true God, is the God of Abraham, Moses, Jacob and Jesus Christ.
154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: State laws compared to Gods laws on: November 05, 2013, 06:16:58 AM
People create laws.  God and the state are inventions of people to objectify justice.  There's a small group of people who are pointing out that justice is subjective, but nobody really listens to them.

Vod? Are you blind? I said I asked for people who believe in Jesus Christ to reply to this thread.
Please debate your own beliefs on the appropriate threads.

This is an appropriate thread.

Can we expand it to include those who believe in hobbits, or maybe even a leprechaun?  They are so much more interesting than your son of a god.

Why don't you make your own thread, and discuss your apostate state of non-belief in that thread? Smiley

State laws compared to Gods laws

I started this thread, because of some issues some people are having
in another thread/poll I started.

There seems to be some disagreements about who has authority.

The state, or God.
Or, state laws, or Gods laws.

Or, how should I define this. I made this thread for you to debate about
state laws compared to Gods laws, and I am actually interested in what
you have to say. I have wondered about this many times. Smiley

Once again, thank you for believing in Jesus Christ Smiley

Christianity is all about converting others to your false beliefs - by any means necessary.

vod? I had asked for people who believe in Jesus Christ to reply to this thread.

Did you read that?

Do you understand you asked on a PUBLIC bulletin board?

You want to be surrounded by people who will listen and not question - go to church.

Vod? Are you blind? I said I asked for people who believe in Jesus Christ to reply to this thread.
Please debate your own beliefs on the appropriate threads.
