Hashlets are not physical hardware. They are virtual representations of cloud hashing. Some Hashlets are scrypt algo. One Hashlet is SHA-256 for Bitcoin only. One Hashlet may be able to switch from SHA to scrypt in the future, but not at this time. You select exactly which one you want at time of purchase. There are a variety of Hashlets, each one for a specific pool and there are a very narrow number of choices. Once you have chosen the one you want, it hashes and pays out in BTC. You do not get to choose or change your pool after purchase. You cannot define your own pool. You cannot opt to be paid in any other coin. There is a Hashlet Prime which may allow you to choose and change pool, but that is only a possible future and is not an available option on the existing Prime. Genesis hashes Bitcoin and there are 3 pools available. At this time, ZenCloud automatically chooses from the 3 pools to get you the highest return. Each base Genesis is 10GHs, so 100 Genesis would be 1000 GHs of SHA-256 algo hashing BTC from the highest single pool out of a possible 3 pools. http://gawminers.com/pages/hashletCan someone in brief explain this hashlet things. For example if i take Genesis hashlet 100, what is that mean, and this is scrypt or sha 256 mining ?

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I have 5 hashlets at the moment ( not many by some people's standards ) but they are pretty good so far.

I have 137 Hashlets, which is not many by some people's standards. A few of each kind. I have no significant complaints. I have a couple minor things that I'm a bit disappointed with but nothing major. They do payout and if the current rates continue, I will definitely get ROI pretty soon on the first few I bought early on. I also submitted my ticket on BTC-E but I gues they may be mroe reluctant of adding extra cryptos there :S We will see. I will copy their reply here once I receive it.
