1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: August 27, 2019, 06:00:30 PM
I asked the same question 3 days ago.
I think we will get an answer after the First round of IEO is finished, let us be patient untill then.
The first phase is finished but there is no info about the funds collected, maybe the info will appear after all phases are completed

I hope in the second phase it will be clearer later the funds that have been collected.
and making each phase there is a breakdown of how much money is in each phase to make it easier and to be transparent.

yes I hope so too. I even hope that before the second phase begins, the details of the funds collected when the first phase is published. so I can have an idea, whether this project is good or not for me to follow.
the transparency of fundraising is a good thing but we must respect this company, this might be their company policy not to preach how much funds they collected in the first phase, we should wait for further news from them.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 27, 2019, 03:40:26 PM
Juventus: 51%
Draw: 28%
Napoli: 21%

I don't know how they ended up with that number, to be honest.

Those numbers don't have any basis except pure speculation from somebody. Maybe they use their opinion after looking at their previous records, but certainly, you can't judge a match based on earlier results unless there are minor differences between those matches.

Home and away game might give some boost, but I don't know up to which number. Anyway, I think the game will end in a draw.
I think it will be very hard for Napoli to draw against Juventus, even though they will definitely bring down Lozano that they just bought from PSV, and put Insigne as a playmaker.  but everything can happen in the match that will take place, and Napoli will certainly try hard to win from Juve who have a much better composition of players..

Juventus: 40%
Draw: 33%
Napoli: 27%
1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 27, 2019, 08:31:06 AM
Alexis Sanchez's future at Manchester United is again unclear. Anthony Martial's injury was the cause.
MU is still waiting for the results of Martial's examination before deciding on Sanchez's future. Besides Martial, Luke Shaw was also injured.
The 2019 summer transfer window will be closed on September 2. Inter and Manchester United have one more chance to ensure Sanchez's future.

I wonder why a player like Sanchez is always on leave.
He is a great player with a lot of skills however he is always on the transfer list. I hope that he will stay on Manchester. He has many more to prove.

If you look at the Manchester United bench, You will see that they can't sell any player, especially great player like Sanchez. Money which Inter offering for Alexis is ridiculous, it will not happen.
I'm sure Sanchez will really move from MU, and MU will accept the joint option offered by Inter to pay Sanchez's salary. Sanchez is one of the best players so it would be a pity if he just sat on the bench.  Sanchez will have a positive impact on Inter game.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 27, 2019, 07:47:58 AM
English league weekend:

Arsenal vs Tottenham

The two teams will meet later this week and the two teams also lost the previous match. That means they must both be able to use this moment to get points, in order to maintain their position in the EPL standings.
that's right, Arsenal lost from Liverpool and Tottenham lost from Newcastle. I really hope that Arsenal win this match because in the previous game Arsenal had made me disappointed and made me lose a few dollars.  Cheesy

Tottenham will certainly bring down their best squad in this match because last year they lost from Arsenal, this would be an exciting revenge match.
1525  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy - The media says we shouldn't be afraid on: August 27, 2019, 07:20:44 AM
the stock market is stable for now but what do you think? Is it worth it to invest in big tech firms now or should we wait a year for a possible slump if recession really hit?
investing in big tech firms today is an opportunity that will continue to be profitable. Technology companies such as green energy, electric vehicles, and IoT are less noticed today but will be very profitable in the future.

Ah, this is just like in 2008. Band playing before the ship sinks. When people tell you not to be afraid, that's when you should.  Grin
it's important to do your own research because not everything what the media or other people say is the reality, maybe they hide something, stay alert...
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 27, 2019, 05:50:40 AM
Deposits, Bets and Withdrawals: I like instant deposit, doesn't matter if withdrawal is automatic as long as it is honored in a timely manner.

Support: Like I said, I like Casino site with proactive support. Live chat is a must to me if I am to use the platform. Although I may not use it, seeing it gives me a kind of assurance.

Prizes: This is neither Yes nor No to me

Games: Like I said, It could be one game or multiple games platform.

Auto-mode: Auto-mode with stop loss is cool to me too and will encourage players. I like cashout system.

Dice Speed: Slow-Medium speed dice.

I add a little more, it's the house edge fee... but what I most pay attention to is their SUPPORT, and the best support is proof that the site is very professional and trustworthy.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 26, 2019, 06:45:46 AM
the group will be divided into 8 groups (group A - group H).  I'm very sure the Serbian team will have very good fortune this time, I can't wait until August 31st  Cheesy... go go go Nikola Jokic, give a big surprise this year  Grin
1528  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Hashmart — cloud mining service from Siberia 🌲🌲🌲 (limited offer 🤙)! on: August 26, 2019, 05:31:51 AM
Where is you company registered? Is mining legal there?

Are there really countries where mining is illegal? And I mean countries, not things like Algeria, Egypt, Morocco.

Some countries have declared Bitcoin as illegal. That’s why mining is also prohibited and considered illegal there. Anyways, this is a subjective matter and varies from one jurisdiction to another.
You can find more information about it at https://www.google.com/amp/s/coinsutra.com/is-bitcoin-mining-legal/%3famp.
Please do not take it as a legal advice and always do your own research.
based on this article, my country is on the List of Countries With Explicit Mining Stance and List Of Countries With Partial Ban On Bitcoin.. pity me  Cheesy, but this does not make the number of miners and lovers of Bitcoin in my country decrease, every day the number increases even though some are retiring too.  Good Luck for Hashmart, I'm sure there will be more registrants every day Grin

1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: August 25, 2019, 11:04:14 PM
like it or not, we really must to survive if nothing has changed in 2019.  but as far as I'm concerned, a lot has changed in 2019.
Personally, in this 2019 I hope that the phenomenon at the end of December 2017 will be repeated, where all the prices of Cryptocurrency are going crazy.

So far so good, a lot has happened already in 2019, even at current state, 2019 is better than 2018. There is organic growth, there is increase in adoption.
the increase in adoption as it seems to be growing, many large projects with good concepts appear in 2019. hopefully, this continues to grow

Oh, i visited now the site and was astonished by seeing many players active on the site.
But do the thread owner here forgot about the bitcointalk users? As there is no activity from the OP can be seen anywhere in thr forum.

What about the promotion on twitter and facebook platforms where you can promote casinoroyale.bet. Also signature campaigns can be a good idea provided you have funds for the campaigns.
even though I don't have an account on this site yet but I really support if they do a social media campaign, with social media campaigns, all the advantages and ongoing events that are on their site can be known to many people. good luck  Wink
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "satoshi" ever login again? on: August 24, 2019, 06:21:09 AM
Do you think "satoshi" will ever just randomly log in one day and post something?

It seems as if that would be the only way for "satoshi" to ever be proven to be who he is.

based on the announcement made by satoshi https://bitcointalk.org/ad_test.html. I think he would never log in again and had entrusted everything to the admin and the moderators  Grin
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Sold 2BTC at $3,000 and BTC Bumped to $10,000 on: August 23, 2019, 09:41:02 AM
I was away in Dubai for work while my family were staying back home in my country. They were 100% dependent on me for food and sustenance. Allowing the BTC to sit in my wallet while my family suffers was not an option. So, I decided to sell and solve my immediate problems, to feed and cater for them. Did I make the wrong or right decision?

Well, no doubt I would have gotten $20,000+ if I retained the coin till now, but what if my family died of hunger? Money is as good as the problem it's able to solve. That's the lesson I want everyone to learn this. Very too often, I see people advising not to sell your Bitcoin, that you will gain more if you hold on and sell at later times. While that may be true, you still need to understand that Bitcoin is supposed to be money, not investment asset. It is meant to be spent on daily basis, to solve problems, and to be in constant circulation.

the mistake that many people make is to make Bitcoin a primary income and as emergency savings, so they tend to sell Bitcoin when pressed Unless your work is focused on Bitcoin (the owner of an exchange, mining farm or service provider).

I'm not saying that selling Bitcoin to meet family needs is bad, but at least prepare an emergency fund so that you don't disturb your Bitcoin...  I'm so sorry for the opportunity you threw away, bro.. if I were in your position then I would do the same thing as you did.
1535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or LTC ? on: August 23, 2019, 08:33:15 AM
Bitcoin is still the best coin for trading, the volatility that is measured in thousands of dollars up or down, what other coins can be so profitable like Bitcoin is? You can`t find them! Short term or long term, Bitcoin is the best, it always bounces back after drop, when it rises enough there will be a new drop again.
Take a look at charts, if you can find any other coin that can be compared with Bitcoin let me know.
true, Bitcoin is the best coin, very convenient as a long-term or short-term investment even in the current uncertain market.

for Litecoin.. in my opinion, is very suitable for long-term investment, not good enough to be used as a short-term investment.
1536  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: August 23, 2019, 07:08:27 AM
Mintdice - 1000 satoshi
primedice - 100 satoshi
duckdice - 1500 satoshi
onehash - 1000 satoshi

this is all I know  Grin

can you suggest me a good casino site that offers high claim of satoshi when claiming to their faucet?
i want to try different sites
I just give advice, at this time  why do you still expect to get coins through the faucet because everyone already knows it's just a waste of time. why not try mining or investing in Altcoin?
It's always funny to see someone replied an old post, you know, you replied to 1.5 years old post. How will you get the reply?
Do you also think mining still profitable for now?
Investing in altcoin has high risk and you also need money to start that.

mining is still profitable, but we have to choose which coins currently give us the benefits and the list is listed on this site https://whattomine.com/
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dont be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ on: August 22, 2019, 05:53:56 PM
After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

1. The teams are willing to try out new things with the project, many projects that have already achieved what ETH have ends up surrendering but ETH teams are not showing sign of stopping

2. I cant say more about the ETH2.0 upgrade but the POS implementation will make it worthwhile, the reason why i invested in some POS coins is to use the gains to sustain and get many daily needs till the day when holding them will pay off big,the POS will make many investors want to hold ETH for long term ultimately will leads to more adoption
Your observations are very good.. I also have a little faith that in the future Ethereum prices will touch $ 4k. Many predictions say that the price of Bitcoin in the future will be at $ 50k and if this happens then the price of Ethereum will also go up.
1538  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 22, 2019, 08:54:13 AM
lone hackers and group hackers always try to find fault loopholes from all exchanges, and their main target is large exchangers who have large daily transaction rates.  many tricks they tried, ranging from phishing sites, fake e-mails and utilizing BUG loopholes.

bug or vurnerability will always occur when exchanges upgrade their system.there is no perfect system , and hackers always trying to find its bug or vuln and exploit this weekness to their own advantages by stealing wallet.exchanges team must do something to prevent accidents again to their security system so there is no investors harmed with this accident.
absolutely right, BUG is a gap that is always exploited by HACKER, this is the reason why bug hunters are needed in testing the security level of a site because just one mistake can make developer exchange a big loss especially from user trust.
1539  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find venture capital investors? on: August 22, 2019, 07:32:36 AM
As well as that, look to family and friends for investments, and good luck with whatever venture you are doing.

@seratruong, are you the only person that's working on that part of your project? I've looked for some of your post history and is this the exchange that you are working with?

We do have a team. It's just our first step and I want to get the overview when approaching them. Learning here is considered as my first choice, especially from experienced members like you.
it will be very difficult to get funding directly from the VC, they will definitely see what your product concept is, then whether the product you offer is a solution for many people. basically, they will definitely test your product.

maybe you can try a way to come to the big BANK in your town and ask for help to directly connect to the VCs that work with their BANK, because some VCs have worked with BANK (Private to Private)... once again good luck for your project  Wink

1540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: August 22, 2019, 06:49:07 AM
I think that trading is more profitable than pure savings or investing, because it can bring higher profits. If you have sufficient knowledge in trading, then you can constantly increase the number of BTC in your accounts. But if you participate in IEO, then it can also be profitable, especially if it is carried out on large exchanges.
Everyone has their own passion, there are those who love trading, there are those who are comfortable and don't want to bother with just saving money in the BANK, and there are those who like to bet and want to think broadly by investing.

Personally.. I prefer investment. I am happy to put my money in a company that I think will benefit me in the future, and now there are many investments to choose from, such as stocks, cryptocurrencies, forex and even online casino platforms that will greatly develop in the future.
