Actually yes, what translation can you do?
We have NXT exchanges live now, you are welcome to use it, including NXT withdrawals to bank cards.

Hello.

Nice page/service

I see you that you have translated in many languages.
Do you offer any bounty for more translations?

I have sent you a PM.

Not to derail the NXT vs. NEM discussion, but here's one for the PoW vs PoS folk. https://bitscan.com/articles/what-is-bitcoin-backed-by

its in need of derailing. Smiley

i was impressed by the article. one more weapon to add to the arsenal when fighting the PoW militia who have sworn PoS as they're most evil foe. Wink

Money has no value without people neither bitcoin (NXT, NEM etc..) have.
Yes really nice article.
I have added it to the documentary thread in my sig.

This is a nice article that I found in another thread:

Cheers.

I've started using keypass to secure my passwords, and I started to encrypt sensitive folders on my PC. I also spent time updating my virus and malware arsenal and scanned multiple times with different products. I'm in the process of  setting up a few paper wallets for cold storage.

Can't be too careful!

Hello

Maybe You could also switch to linux and
then have less things to worry about! Wink

Yes, linux is on my to do list too! Which flavour do you recommend?

If you are not familiar with linux and if you are beginner I would suggest you to check
the ZORIN distribution
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=zorin

I installed it on a friends laptop and I must say is really nice and fast and easy to use
because you can set the UI to look similar to windows UI.

otherwise i would suggest you to check others ubuntu based distributions
because they seem to be easiest to use for beginners.

what you could try:
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ubuntu (i heard the UI is heavy for the computer - resource intensieve)
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=mint (fork of ubuntu with different desktops and better performance)
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=xubuntu (ubuntu with xfce UI better performance)
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=lubuntu (ubuntu with LXDE UI even better performance but i must say the latest UI has some bugs)

for other distribustions check this site: http://distrowatch.com

NOTE: you can try almost any linux distribution without install it. It will load from cd into memory
and you can then test it and check if is suitable for your needs and experience.

If you have more questions feel free to ask I will help if I will be able to.
I hope you manage and I wish you good luck. Wink

767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Thread: NEM Official Moderated Thread - Open Alpha Has Launched on: July 13, 2014, 12:25:09 PM

Yes you can, just keep NIS running
Just a note, it takes 24 hours until you will be eligible for any harvesting rewards.

Hello.

When you say 24 hours does it mean 24 hours without interruption?!
What happens if I start the NIS and I stop it before 24 hours has passed and I
restart it again few hours later?!

Posting this here for more exposure: http://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2280.msg3284#msg3284

Hopefully, we have some talented people in the community who want to help out Wink.

[Also, NEM forum registration should be working again]

Hello

I' m already active on Trello let me know
if there is anything else that I can do or help you with
beside the NEM BE.

Just curious. if we receive an offer to buy our stake early, are we allowed to sell it? Or are there rules about waiting until a certain point in time to be able to sell.

I'm not selling. But I heard something that made me curious and thus I'm asking.

Hello.

From the thread it results that the stakes will be released over the NXT AE (Asset Exchange)
before the Kora coin is even implemented and that means by logic that you are
allowed to trade your stakes for NXT on the Asset Exchange.
When the time to redeem the Kora coins comes the owner of the
Kora stakes (you or any body else that bought it) will send back
the stakes to the asset issuer "Kora" and get n Kora coins for n Kora stakes in return
in your Kora wallet.

770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: July 11, 2014, 10:58:29 PM
frozen funds in Bter cover the community funds. But we also know about 100 Bitcoins sent from bter

I had 4000 NXT stolen from my by ShareXCoin exchange. It someone recovers them, they can have half.

But wait, if someone recovers them, don't they have 100%? Well... I hope for an honest finder.

Well I haven' t thought of that Smiley
than I could also offer a bounty for recovering 0.86265 BTC that were stolen there too Sad
I can offer 50% of stolen amount but I doubt that there will be anyone interested
in doing this for that "small" amount.   Undecided
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - The only coin backed up by a real bussiness on: July 11, 2014, 01:29:37 PM
What's wrong with http://sharexcoin.com?

It was a SCAM.
The developer run away with people's money.
The coin is dead and the exchange too.

NEM, Skycoin
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - Open Alpha Has Launched[Updates & Discussion] on: July 10, 2014, 04:01:04 PM
NxT's price is collapsing because one of the original NxT whales (40 million) downloaded a keylog file and presumably close to 7 million has been dumped by a hacker so far and another 33 million will be dumped.   He had passwords to wallets worth several $million on a text file on his desktop.

https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/price-speculation/5440/

This does relate to NEM as it is entirely traded on the AE and NxT's price changes has a huge effect.  A $500 NEMstake is possible if NxT continues to drop in price.

F*ck!!!
When will people learn and stop using windows OS and other closed source
operating systems.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - Open Alpha Has Launched[Updates & Discussion] on: July 10, 2014, 03:55:57 PM
Here is another picture   Kiss

Nice pic

I give 1 Nem stake for one date with that girl

Hmm , haven't you said that you have a wife somewhere in another thread?! Wink
You can still give 1 NEM stake for the date but I will date her
instead of you as it seems you have duties at home!  Cheesy

Well, Anon136, it was you who brought them here Wink

Yes that is  true because if He hadn't had posted
in the NXT thread about this I would probably miss it.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: July 09, 2014, 09:08:26 PM
Thanks for the update.
Qora is a good coin if it continues this way it will have bright future.
The current low prices are not important it is long term project and if price is currently low
it will help distribution.

777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: July 09, 2014, 06:04:23 PM
Would you install a 2000 pound bracket onto your car if it made it harder for someone to break in? Nothing is NSA proof. Darkcoin is a practical solution for privacy minded individuals. CN is an over the top "solution" that gives a false sense of security.

As for the backdoors, your computer has a cpu right? Game over.

Open source software is not enough.
We need open source hardware as well produced and licensed under GPL
or similar license type but who can and will produce it? Sad
Almost all hardware is closed source and protected by some patent rights.

778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: July 09, 2014, 04:28:48 PM

It raises some good points, but the whole purpose of crypto currency is to operate outside the restrictions of government policies.  If Nxt started to operate based on US Gov financial policies, I would sell all my Nxt tomorrow.  The goal is to offer more financial freedom/control and eventually become so popular that world governments have no choice but to comply or die.

Indeed many Chinese know this IPO, I won't attend the IPO, since it is of no profit, Chinese just dumping. Don't calculate the cost of dumping.

Hello.

Then the best way to invest would be to figure out
when the dumping period is over and then buy in.
