Name one decentralized project that achieved something?
All this companies or organisations are centralized.
If you wish to achieve something you need to have a cetnralized entity that
governs and runs the project with clear goals.
Most of this entities are using the word decentralized to sell their centralized product "idea".
Every few year there is a buzzword coming out.
1st was blockchain during the ICO mania - when every company started to make projects
based on blockchain but actually replicating the same existent shit
that already existed on "centralized" technologies
databases and servers to blockchain even if blockchain were useless or not scalable for the user case.
2nd was AI - suddenly all companies went into building some AI smart shit that will save the world
which actually were just simple algorithms based on big data
3rd was DeFi shit which as you Abiky say is replicating the existing rotten
financial system but "without a middleman".
They all speak about decentralization but at same time they require you to submit
your personal info KYC to them because is required by the state which is centralized.
Blockchain was supposed to give people personal sovereignty and to detach us from
false central authorities.
Without a financial freedom there is no personal sovereignty.
Without personal sovereignty there is no freedom.
Freedom is a farce.

This is really a great project because is not based on greed and will bring
pure decentralization and soveregnity to people.
It will actually patch the flaws that were discovered in bitcoin and other pow and pos coins
and that is that you need big financial resources to participate in mining or staking
and are biased to centralization of power in long run.
This is only at the beginning and everyone can participate just by running the software on their computer.
A software that will take just few % of your CPU power and does not require
special equipment (hardware).
Congratulations to the developers and the whole team behind this to bringing this to life.

We do not exactly know what will happen when the regulations come. Nobody knows, how goverments will clasify cryptocurrencies, as a form of money? Then all cryptocurrencies will be illegal because creating own money is illegal! And here is Bitcoin, thanks decentralization you can´t stop it and send someone to the prison.  the government cannot stop bitcoin, but the government can stop the person who wants to use bitcoin. if people will be afraid to go to jail for using bitcoin then the popularity of cryptocurrency will fall down This is true if you talk about minority that is using bitcoin. It easy to pick one person like they did in Minneapolis 4 (armed) : 1 (unarmed) In case that would be a majority using bitcoin or other currencies than scenario would not be possible either. |

Ja te aplikacije za praćene kripta ili portfolia na mobitel ne bi nikad stavio.
Mogu pratiti vašu lokaciju i ako unesete količinu i koliko čega imate.
Zar vam se ne čini opasano to koristiti?
Kao da javljate ja se nalazim tu i imam 100 bitcoina i 1000 ethreuma koje mi možete uzeti!
Nije li nedavno bio još nekakvi bug u toj blockfolio aplikaciji pa su pozivi na api bili preko obične http veze?

All the stable coins that keep reserve collateral in bank account can be blocked and frozen by simply block the deposit in the bank. Imagine if the bank blocks the account in the bank for unknown reason or it receives an order from the state to block the account of the stable coin than this coins will become worthless. There is nothing secure in using this centralized stable coin especially USDT for which is even unknown if there is any collateral in the bank account and therefore if is printed out of thin air it can be used to manipulate all the prices of other coins in the crypto market. I think no matter how much USDT is printed, it has no effect on other coins. This only affects the Tether coin, because the volume has increased. Every 1 USDT printed, it will add $ 1. If they print $ 1 billion USDT or Tether, then the same as they already have $ 1 billion dollars. This is very different from other coins. Other coins are very dependent on demand. So lets see. If they print USDT from thin air and put on market it does not affect other coins you say. And what will happen if they use this thin air money to buy bitcoin or any other coin? Will the price of bitcoin rise? What you can't see here is the market is manipulated with that stable shit which they can print out of thin air so is bankster model 2.0 same as FEDs but in crypto sphere. |

Ma karikirao sam jer je jedna susjeda dosta staromodna. Penje se pješke na 4. kat, sluša samo radio Sljeme, itd...
Ovo tu nije loša navika! Bilo bi manje bolesnih da se više njih penje  |

Ma jasno. Ali kolege aludiraju na to da u slučaju uspješnog 51% napada vrijednost coina čija mreža je to omogućila pada na nulu jer tržište izgubi povjerenje u mrežu. Jer ako je moguće izvesti 51% napad, kako će netko vjerovati da netko drugi ima XY coina? A ako vrijednost coina padne na nulu, badava napadač sam sebi generira ogromnu količinu coina kad su bezvrijedni. Poanta blockchain tehnologije je trustless sustav, a u slučaju 51% napada takav sustav pada u vodu.
Doble spend se ne može otkriti prije nego se dogodi. Napadaču je svejedno ako će vrijednost pasti na 0 bitno mu je da likvidira "zamjeni" sredstva za neku drugi coin/valutu prije nego vrijednost padne. |

Hello.
Do I have to update the mobile wallet?
I have a version 1.3.1.
If I need to update how to do it? Do I need to uninstall the current version and
go again to the playstore to install the latest version.
I do not see any update option in the current wallet.

That seems like a pretty old version. I would suggest you make a backup of passphrases (if you haven't done yet) and uninstall and then install the newest version if you want to interact with ARK blockchain. Hello. Thanks for the reply. I have installed the latest version of ark wallet from the play store. It seem it does not work correctly. When I start the wallet I see the Ark logo and the spinner is spinning endlessly. In case I close the window and go back then a white screen stay there. Android version is 5.1.1. |

Izgleda da je, kao i puno puta do sad, sve s*ebao Trump sa zabranom letova iz EU. Nakon toga je sve zaronilo, pa tako i kripto. U ovih dvije i pol godine koliko sam u kriptu nisam vidio da se cijena tako strmopizdi. U nekoliko minuta BTC je zaronio za $1000!
Što se TA tiče, mislim da se ne možemo osloniti na nju jer ovo je rezultat panike, a ne nekog normalnog tržišnog ciklusa.
A ne ne, frend koji se bavi TA je prije par dana sve u tether prebacio i sad trlja ruke. On je ovo najavio jos prije 4 tjedna. Fulao je za cca 10% u cijeni. Tether je samo privremeno "siguran". Pitanje je što će se dogoditi kad konačno razotkriju da nema nikakvo pokriće već da kao bankari štancaju brojke u računalo. |

Kad smo vec kod korona virusa, jel neko naisao na neku zrelu TA vezanu za uticaj ove epidemije na kriptovalute, Bitcoin narocito?
Mnoge toga je u padu, ako se karantini prosire a hoce bice jos gore verovatno. Bitcoin iako nije "fizicko dobro" tesko da ce biti imun na ovakvu globalnu frku.
Po svemu što sam čitao u zadnjih par tjedana, sve analize upućuju na to da je bitcoin trebao ići gore a ne dolje, međutim, dogodilo se upravo suprotno. Zbog čega, pojma nemam.
