Habe Ubuntu 12.04 und kein /dev/ttyUSB* device ist vorhanden...

So ist es. Im Moment kann man die Entwickler/Assembler ja nur beobachten. Wer was wo wie gebrauchsfähig anbieten kann wird sich erst laaangsam mit der Lieferung erster Sample-Chips herauskristallisieren.
Ich schätze das Angebot sehr, die Chips zum Entwickler/Assembler zu schicken, keine Frage. Aber bei der aktuellen Faktenlage (es gibt keine), kann die Entscheidung nur lauten, seine eigene Adresse einzutragen. So würde ich es jedenfalls machen...

Hmm, ca. 2g Gold sind nicht viel. Wenn schon eine "Sammlermünze" ohne BTC drauf, dann Silber. 1/2 oder 1 oz, da hat man was in der Hand. Bei 8,50 bzw. 17,00 EUR Materialkosten würde ich Dir sogar 12,50 bzw. 25,00 EUR zahlen. Ebend weil's einen Materialwert hat und kein Aluchip ist.  |

pastebin (don't paste here) the output of the end of 'dmesg' when you plug the AMU in
also 2 cgminer outputs:
1) cgminer -n
2) cgminer -D -T -verbose ... your options ... 2> debug.log
and let that run for about 30 seconds - and pastebin it or upload the log somewhere
I don't have a powered hub, I guess I better get one to see what's happening myself
(tried to get one last week and oddly none of the shops I went to had one ... except one that was crap)
One other thing to try is to leave it unplugged for about a minute then see if that fixes it
I had mine go into a weird state not being recognised after using different OSs and being left unplugged for a while fixed it for me
The error I got when this happened in the debug log was an error 4 setting the baud
I might try see if that is reproduceable - the error and the unplug fix, and if so, when it happens print a message to do that.

2weiX, seit heute gibt es Version 3.2.0, welche die -S Option nicht mehr unterstützt und wenn ich's richtig verstanden habe, die USB-Treiber auch nicht? Versuch's vorerst einfach mit der 'alten' Version 3.1.1: klick. |

Strange things happened here on my rpi (Raspbian wheezy). 3.2.0 detected my Lancelot (BLT), plug and pray is working fine. But no luck with any of my Block Erupter USBs, not detected, no plug and play at all.  All devices connected using the same powered usb 2.0 hub. These are working fine with 3.1.1 using -S options. Whenever I quit 3.2.0 and try running 3.1.1 again, it can't access the USB devices anymore, have to reboot the rpi... Any hints are welcome. |

Thank you yxt, already saw this helpful information and it's working perfectly fine as long as no other devices (different ones, in my case a Lancelot) using the Icarus protocol. It seems different options and timings for different devices causing display errors, but it's nothing to worry about. However, found a workaround, if someone is interested -> send me a PM. Would be really OT in this groupbuy thread. |

The cgminer screen shot looks like you are getting 660mh/s for each usb - I thought they were 330mh/s each ?
It's just a display/calculation error in cgminer. Devide 660 MHs by 2 and this will be the accurate number: 330. To confirm, U is around 5 with diff 1. Everything within specs. Reason for this display error might be I've running the Block Erupters (one core) with a Lancelot (two cores), have to play around a bit later to get the display error fixed. However, just wanted to show they arrived and hashing. ct1aic, your little Gizmos will find their way as well, just one or two or three nights more to sleep. |

Nunja, grob gesagt geht es darum, dass der Geldfluss nich anonym zu sein hat. Die Handelsplattform muss mich kennen (Verifizierung), dann darf ich ihr Fiat überweisen und meinetwegen gegen Mucheln oder BTC tauschen. Jeder Handel ist auf der Plattform belegbar. Fiat bekomme ich aus dem System auch nur heraus, wenn mich die Handelsplattform kennt. Alles ist im Zweifelsfall nachweisbar, Anonymität gibt es nicht = damit ist alles 'Gesetzeskonform'. |

Willkommen Chairman! Glückwunsch zu den ersten BTC, sind bestimmt die schönsten von allen. Zu Deiner Frage. Diese verstehe ich leider nicht so ganz. Auf was sollte man denn zwei Wochen warten, damit man seine BTC nutzen kann? Du kannst sie sofort nach der Gutschrift in ein Wallet (Brieftasche) überweisen oder ggf. auch verkaufen (bei Bitcoin.de). Ich gehe davon aus, dass Du noch keine Accounts bei den genannten Plattformen hast? Nur ein Hinweis, bei Bitcoin.de kannst Du als Newbie lediglich 5 BTC pro Tag erwerben. Bei Mt.Gox dürfe die Verifizierung Deiner Person (Voraussetzung zum Überweisen von EUR zu Mt.Gox) noch immer recht lange Dauern (nur eine Vermutung meinerseits). Wenn Du schnell an BTC kommen willst, schau' Dir Bitstamp an. Die verifizieren zügig und eine Überweisung ist auch in ein bis zwei Werktagen gutgeschrieben. Just my half cent... Viel Glück! |

Vielen Dank für den informativen Link! Wenn ich es richtig lese, sind "unwanted SD-Card writes" beim B Rev. 2 hinfällig, aber D17 werde ich mal befühlen. Sollte das Netzteil des USB-Hubs mehr als 6V liefern, wird der Hersteller verklagt. Underclocking beim Raspberry, klingt auch interessant. Wenn man ihn nur zum Minen nutzt ist dies eine interessante Option. cgminer benötigt im normalen Betrieb nach meinen Beobachtungen nicht mal 1% CPU-Zeit. |

Nur am Rande, spart Euch das Netzteil. Am Raspberry wird man zum Minen ja i.d.R. einen USB-Hub anschließen. Nun gibt es einige powered USB-Hubs, welche die 5V von ihrem Netzteil doch tatsächlich an den USB-Host (in unserem Fall der Raspberry) weitergeben. Das sollte normalerweise nicht so sein, kann ja den Host beschädigen, der liefert nämlich auch schon 5V... So einen nicht wirklich gut konstruierten USB-Hub bitte nicht an ein Notebook oder den PC anschließen! Für unseren Raspberry ist er aber ideal, da dieser mit den 5V vom USB-Hub betrieben werden kann.  Läuft hier stabil mit einem Lancelot und WiFi-Stick. Ein paar Block Erupter USB sollen auch noch dran, bin gespannt, ob das Netzteil des USB-Hubs genug Strom liefert. |
