If everyone was jumping off a bridge (which is currently up for sale by bitcoinminer), would you follow? Gox may or may not return to it's normal kind-of-functioning state, do you really have enough money to take that gamble? If so, go for it. But understand, it's a gamble at this point. Don't bet what you can't afford to completely lose. Here is a fact. As of right now, you can not convert Gox Bitcoin IOUs into actual Bitcoins. That's why they are priced much lower than other Bitcoin IOUs which you can convert into actual Bitcoins. |

I think we should avoid mt gox for the rest of our lives and just forget about their scam as the foundation isn't doing any thing and Mark is trying to relaunch mt gox to do this again.

How about Karples just makes a clear statement already. Even if the worst thing possible... they lost/stole everyone's money.... couldn't be worse than leaving everyone in the dark to speculate on what is happening, and what they think the market will do because of what they think is happening and reacting to ghosts and shadows.... or twitter post deletions.... I guess this is just bitcoin though.
Without knowing the guy personally, what I've seen so far indicates he's got some issues admitting he was wrong/made a mistake or plain is out of his depth technically trying to solve something. Hence, I expect this to drag on for a while still. Indeed. Lack of remorse or guilt

I'm in the UK - I don't own a gun. If I get home from work next Tuesday and I catch Mrs.Dreamer at it hard with the postman  - they're both gonna get beaten with my baseball bat - maybe a few fractures might ensue. But they won't get their heads blown off   And I won't do a life sentence. I'm not going to venture an opinion as to wether the citizenry of the US should have access to firearms - as I know it evokes very strong responses. I'll just say that I'm glad to be in the UK  . So... let me get this straight. Because you have murderous tendencies (you can easily kill someone with a blow from a baseball bat), people shouldn't be allowed to own firearms?
