Why are so many people against bitcoin?

I think most of them are used to join Bitcoin and lost much in it. Losing will cause to the hateful.

Then I guess they should not hate bitcoin because of that, we all know bitcoin being the most volatile digital currency, if they invested and as you said "used" to join or use bitcoin, they must know the risk it has and it is normal to it, so why hate it? People must first know it before they hate it, it is just like a war, they fight for something that they do not know.

Most of people is always ready conservatively. They very watchfully perceive any innovations, hardly change the habits, especially concerning investments. In each circle of familiar people there is a small percent of early followers who the first test new technologies. Conservatives always wait what consequences of application of innovations on the example of early followers will be. And having only convinced that innovations bear only improvements, advantages outweigh all shortcomings, only then they are connected to early followers. This turning point marks widespread introduction of technology.

I think its more on the government they are all against in bitcoin because they don't want it to change their own currency they made I mean if the bitcoin'so popularity grows better than their own currency it can do bad for them.

People against bitcoin may not be educated enough of how bitcoin really works. They are ignorant of the potential and help it can bring to the world. Also, I think they are not open enough to accept this kind of change to our currency. People still give their full trust to the traditional currency we use. Also, others may be scared of how it is used illegally by some bitcoin holders. We all know that thru its features it is possible to do illegal transactions in here.

The people against bitcoins are the people whoe were insecure about the earnings of those who uses bitcoin. The people uses bitcoin they've like just sit around no hustle in travelling to work. Infront of computer then earn money with less effort

There is a big battle for dominance among cryptocurrencies.  Billions and maybe even trillions of dollars are at stake.  Bitcoin dominance is not going to come easy.

I think they hate it because big media tells negatively, about bitcoins that are high risk as an investment and so on. I hope they find out more about what bitcoin is, to make them realize that bitcoin is a very valuable asset.

Because they don't understand what the benefits of bitcoin and some of the government try to ban and destroy bitcoin because they don't have value. some people against bitcoin who didn't research the agenda of bitcoin.

I think those three points you stated are so true. Many people against bitcoin because they're somewhat not ready with this new inovation.
They also mostly, don't understand about bitcoin, crypto, or how it all works. They are caught in bad words like bitcoin is a deep web, dangerous, full of viruses, and others. They also think it's illegal because many crimes use bitcoin, and already marked it as something that should be banned, or not used at all

The only bad thing about bitcoins is that, It can be used by terrorist for illegal transactions but beside that, Bitcoins is very useful for every and it help other people to have a work and buy food for their family, Bitcoins should not be banned for different countries.

When people do not understand a new technology, concept or idea, they will criticize...Just look at the start of the internet and where we are today. Same thing applies to BTC.

Maybe they are due to unsafe attacks .. But because they have not accepted the bitcoin's actual value and because of the benefit of the people. They think that bitcoin will not be scam.

Others denied, others are not fully aware of it. Others are scared to try because they haven't seen anything as a proof that Bitcoins does exist. It was like many years ago where in people scared to try on bitcoin and was'nt aware it will just fly as high as it is right now.

There is always who oppose on someone else idea, just like in bitcoin. Not all people can be lured by bitcoin because they think there are no good things that can be given by bitcoin to their everyday life they think that it will just a waste of time. And as they lives are stable they do not feel that they are left behind with those people who are using bitcoins.

In my opinion they are against bitcoin because they are not knowledgeable about it. They do not have enough evidences that bitcoin really existing and it is not a scam. they are afraid to face the reality that everything can change, also to invest their money in the wrong people that might happen to lose their bitcoin or money.

Maybe because they were scared to be scam by other people who uses bitcoin for scamming. Some of these people are not knowledgeable enough on how bitcoin works and what bitcoin can do to help them financially and make business as well.

there is nothing in the world that everyone likes...the more - bitcoin is understood by very few people....there is always fear and distrust of unrevealed things...it is a normal reaction

many of those "many people" you see are not against bitcoin. they are actually heavily invested in it but they pretend otherwise. someone who is spreading FUD in 99% of the times wants the price to drop so he can either short bitcoin or because he has some buy orders placed ahead of time at certain low prices.

i honestly can not think of anybody who does not benefit from bitcoin! even banks that some people say are against bitcoin or bitcoin is against them are happy about bitcoin. not only bitcoin introduced blockchain technology to them to improve their business but also it has opened up new ways for banks to make money. banks are in fact making a lot of money because of bitcoin, all these traders are using banks to handle their money transfers and there are lots of them

Nothing really pleases everybody. Those people who are against bitcoin, probably they are not well informed about the real use of bitcoin personally or economically. Maybe some are just born critics, and too old fashion in terms of handling their wealth, But we can not blame them, instead advice them to research more about on cryptocurrency, and the role it would possibly play in the future.
