To avoid having to copy and paste a thousand TxId's, let me make this all very easy for all of you.

https://blockchain.info/address/1BofXEuBSAbjwjhZuvxkoLJ9D8btpJ8knu

It will take you 3 clicks to get from the original address to here, then about 5 more clicks to see that they are funneling the bitcoin that they take in, directly back out to buy actual mining hardware from other suppliers. It only took me an hour of clicking on blockchain and goggling the addresses to see that they even bought Antminers from Sushi's group buy with the funds they have scammed people out of.

Congrats to anyone who sent them bitcoin, you have helped a scam artist get his first mining farm on your dollar.

They used a very piss poor mixing service too. took all of 5 minutes to find out that https://blockchain.info/address/14qGrXbPca2c4ejcKaWzvjhTK9MeHTcvtP is the address of the "partner" in this scam. seems to be holding exactly half of what has been scammed so far.

Not bad guys $115,000 in only a few months between all your scams. Crap, i need to quit my day job. If only i didnt have morals, i might hire you to teach me how its done.

To put an end to all this debate and 20 something pages of banter.

THIS IS A SCAM: Reason below

No legitimate asic mining manufacturer is going to take the bitcoin they make from selling their own hardware, and turn around and use it to buy mining hardware from other manufacturers and even group buys.

Rest assured, that ANYONE who posts after this post claiming there is any legitimacy behind this company IS IN ON THE SCAM.

There is no more need for a single person to bump this thread with another post or reply because all you are doing is keeping it at the top of the topics for more people to get ripped off. THE MODS REALLY NEED TO LOCK THIS THREAD BEFORE IT GETS MORE PEOPLE SCAMMED

Are we really going to keep having a debate about all of this? Is it really necessary to keep posting on this thread and bumping it further?

For having 22 pages of people who act like they are super sleuths and have all the answers i would think it is VERY plain to see what the deal is here, and who their accomplices are.

I am not a mod, and am not trying to be one, but why dont we move this conversation to the new thread i started here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=432716 where it belongs to make sure this thread gets buried before anyone else from this forum gets ripped off.

If you are dumb enough to believe that a hardware manufacturer would have any reason to turn around and use the bitcoin they just got for selling their own machines to buy thousands of dollars worth of other machines literally within hours of getting it, including from group buys on our own forum, you deserve to to have every last bitcoin you own stolen from you so much to the point that you never use bitcoin again.
Hmm, We will have to wait and see, Some companys were called scams int he first place, and they fulfilled their orders.

Call the proxy company and tell them you will take legal action if they dont release their info.

You are another moron. Seriously, Vod is right on the button with you.
582  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 26, 2014, 07:03:22 PM
This doesn't make sense to me.  How do you explain that the AntMiner S1's I received were prefilled with Bitmain's own pool addresses on all 3 fields?

Respectfully, what alternative method do you recommend they use to test their products ?

It makes perfect sense to me, and I don't see what the problem is.
Have you seen some of the photos I posted on the previously page?   Your opinion might change.

I had some dust in one of my machines fan, the other was pretty clean. They do have to test them you know. They also need to put in real connection details to do this. I don't see this as a big problem. It is just the nature of the business.
583  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: January 26, 2014, 07:00:36 PM
It was working for a few hours then stopped.  Cables seem tight.  Seems like only ethernet card is working boards not getting full power, fan is on but low.

I cant log in to the menu screen.

Try only running one board at a time. The instructions to do so are located in this thread somewhere. At least this way you can possibly rule out a PSU issue which is what I 'think' you might be having.
584  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 26, 2014, 06:48:11 PM
Yes, I made mistakes.  I already pointed that out.  Do you want me to make a list for you?  They are self evident. No one feels worse about that than I do, except maybe my brother who sent the scammers way more BTC than I. However, I am going to take my lemons and make some new exotic form of lemonade.  I personally get very excited when I make mistakes, because I know that it always creates an new opportunity for me.  It always has.

Going to the beach now with my family.  Be back in a few hours.

I don't need a list. Anyone with half a brain can read the thread and see exactly where your mistakes have been made. Your response is still making my radar go wacky
585  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 26, 2014, 06:42:35 PM
I might get flamed a bit for this or I might not but I don't give a shit either way.

Sorry but I still think Mauiflipper is shady as hell. Phoenix is a bit shady too. Something does not sit right with me on this whole thing with these two.

Now before anyone goes off and tells me how trustworthy any of the two above are just let me say that there have been much more trustworthy members on these forums who have scammed people in the past so it is not impossible.

I have the benefit of not knowing these guys so I can look at this from a clean perspective.

Either they are incredibly stupid or they are somewhat smart. Something just does not feel right to me on this whole thing. Including their responses now.

Sorry if I will upset anyone with this but just like that site there are too many red flags going on here.

586  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 26, 2014, 06:30:20 PM
I have spoken with Phoenix on Skype a few times + bought a Jupiter from him, where I trusted him by sending the coins first and then waited for the miner to arrive from Hawaii.
From these interactions I can conclude with fair certainty that it is highly unlikely he is a scammer.
I thing he just fell for the scam because greed took over and he wanted to be first in line as usual.

I agree with you that both are not scammers. My comment did not mean to imply that. I honestly think they are not conspiring with the fraudsters. What I mean is that they are terrible stupid for try to bash the people providing warnings and then later use the same warnings to pretend they did not help to pump up the sales. I hope they learn that send money to fraudsters is not the best way to prove the fraudsters are not fraudsters.

+1

People, including myself, did try to warn them from early on. Greed got the better of them though and then denial took over.
587  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 26, 2014, 08:05:38 AM
Holy shit. Dude talk about it over here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=432716

To anyone else:

THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT SEND MONEY !

To save these guys btc, does anyone have contact with antminer seller to tell them not to deliver these bastards?

Beside that, i ve called the real company number and the other one:the voice on both are not the same and the quality of the second is very poor making me suspect they have used any kind of voip services to do so(quality is often bad in it)

Lastly i ll call the real company first time in the morning monday (from 9 am uk time) and ask clarification and tell them to go police as someone is using their names to do this.

i hope the guys who have paid them will recover their btc from the antminer seller

it would be great if we can make this done

also forgot to add they don t have any reg num on their website ,wich is mandatory in uk

to the moderators:

Can you change their announcement to SCAM alert please to avoid people fall in this

thanks

maybe we can contact 'sushi' to help out here... if someone can prove the BTC trail came from buyers here to CTS and then mixed then to sushi and he believes us maybe sushi could stop (or at least delay it) the delivery even for a while to see what happens or maybe get their real contact details... name and address.   Maybe if these scammers notice that we're on them and they may shit bricks and do nothing about not receiving the Antminers.

this would be a great victory for the bitcoin community and make these scammers think twice before ripping off the innocent.  Let's see if we can at least get a country to begin with.

if no one what's to contact sushi, give me the bitcoin trace or instructions how it's done and I'll try contact sushi.  I can at least get him to come into this thread to have a look.

I know it a long shot but we have to try something.  It wouldn't be easy for seller to reveal customer details without some proof.

Contact The Observer as he did the final leg work and followed the trail.

If I find out Josh is behind this, I'll personally fly over there to butterfly labs.

Those are just keywords added to the web site to attract hits from internet search engines.

They are just getting more creative due to the scrutiny that they must now go under. The first post alone is screaming scam. Seriously.

It was mentioned in the 9th post in this thread and then many, many times thereafter.

Anyone who paid into this and was present in the forum and aware of this thread kinda deserves what they got to be brutally honest.

There will be no more communication from Rebecca because there is no Rebecca.

590  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT: CTS miners on: January 26, 2014, 07:07:19 AM
Carried over from the original thread.

If this is indeed a scam.  I will be the 1st to cry like a baby and like my wounds and move on.  But, I not not see where they are using those bitcoins to buy mining hardware.  I followed dozens of the links to the end and found nothing.  Help us out here.

I mentioned it and was pretty sure what the answer or lack of would be.

It is a done deal. Game over.

SO IS THIS COMPANY FAKE???

lol. Seriously ?
597  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 26, 2014, 05:19:05 AM
I made an order a little over an hour ago and paid it in full a couple of minutes later. However, no confirmation was shown in the order page, like it was never received. My payment now has 4 confirmations in my wallet, it went through quite a while ago, but the site failed to register it. Now the order is displayed as "Expired", even though I paid for it. I ordered from Bitmain a couple of times before and this is the first time this happened to me. Anyone else ran into this problem?

Before you ask, yes, I sent the BTC to the right address.

There have been a few in this thread. As far as I know all have been worked out in the end.

so If I'm a scammer, I'm scamming myself pretty hard, lol... Satisfied?  or do I need a blood sample or something?..  Tongue
and BTW, neither Maui or myself EVER recommended CTS to anyone... yet

Not really, it could just show that you are good a moving btc around. Sending money to yourself causes no harm.
hahaaa, piss off then, really, you're an idiot.

Easy there now cowpoke. He did not just possibly write off 65 btc.

Glass houses and all you know Wink
