The 270 reg is basically a 7850 with some awesome ram. It won't pull more than 150w, guaranteed. It only has a single 6 pin. Also, stay away from EVGA PSUs. Seen plenty of complains about them. The 2 best bang for buck PSUs out there right now are the 1200w LEPA units (rebranded Enermax) or the XFX Core Edition 1250w units (rebranded Seasonic). You could also always go with Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, and Enermax. Also, why combined 1900w for 6 270s? That's only ~800w + system maybe another 200.. you're looking at only really needing a single 1200w unit comfortably powering everything.

I guess some substructuring, like "new coins", "giveaways", "coin accepting/trading sites", "coin mining", "general discussion", ... would help considerably.
Good idea right there.

you should hold a contest for the first one forking the coin.
it's gonna be a fucking forkfest with several pools at the start.
Multipool will come out on top.

1 second block times eh. Black hole of rejects indeed.

Assuming no undervolting, here are some rough estimates:
R9 270 Reg - 4:1 Hash/watt ratio (400-450khs / 100-120w).
HD7950 - 3.5:1 Hash/watt ratio (650khs / 200w) //not all 7950s do 650khs @ stock speeds
R9 290 Reg - 3:1 Hash/watt ratio (900khs / 300w) //needs 900khs+
R9 280x (7970) - 3:1 Hash/watt ratio (750khs / 250w) //could be slightly worse, 7970s have been known to hit 300w

First 4 miners on mmcpool have above 1000HPM. How can be possible without gpu mining? It is about 500 pcs 4770k each one.... botnet ? botnet with no version of anti malt-ware installed perhaps ( Called Amazon AWS cc2.8 Larges. Each instance does about 9-10HPM with the Windows 2012 Server AMI.

here is a improved velocity miner.. they say its up to 30% more hashrate but i only have around 10% more - http://goo.gl/FaYNJGReally. Don't fall for it folks. :-P

PTS is easily the most valuable of the CPU coins @ .02x per BTC but it's hella hard to mine out. http://mrx.im/pts.php?cpm=200 (not my work) For reference, a 3770k @ 4.6ghz does ~310CPM with yvg1900's M7H miner.

Edit: Nope. just ran it through a clean room. Don't touch it folks. Edit #2: Clean-room being my old P4 system not connected to the network. MBAM didn't catch anything, but it did create a very suspicious folder called "zmwah":

Waitaminute. You're that person on NCP? Small world!
You may be able to score a really cheap LGA775 board and give the stuff another whirl.

Well, cheers then.
Why potatoes, if you don't mind me asking?

The first image was a joke, but this coin is completely serious. We plan to use it to support the agriculture industry in 3rd world countries. We're also working on a website where you trade potatocoins for potatoes. IF you guys are actually serious, that would be an altruistic first for any of the coins i've ever seen come out.

using altexc pool, with my R9 290X I got 3.2 Mh/s is that OK?
Nope, you got lots of room for tweaking there. What's your config.

LOL this coin makes you consider solo mining? it is a clone of a coin released about 12 hours before it QQCOIN. There is nothing good about it. Lots of spam threads like this though springing up. Why make an entire thread to say something like this. Why not post it in the veloshitty coin thread? Imagine if you could have solo mined doge or qrk early on?? this coin is not even worth mining. no coin is worth mining if you missed the train agreed, with veloshitty there is no train though. Well let's hope not, we can't let all these pointless clones hit the exchanges or else alts are dead. How about you let the market / exchanges dictate what lives and dies. Now back to my pointless money-making off these pointless clones.

You sure picked a hell of a name, OP.

This is my code for the 7950 (should be able to mod for 280x settings). Getting ~2mhs per 7950 velocitycoinminer -o ??? -u ??? -p ??? --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316 --thread-concurrency 24000 -I 19 -w 256 -g 1 Edit: http://vcc.altexc.com is working fine. Getting blocks solved, coins coming through.

Yeah all the blocks are anonymous... Looks like what happened with the official Dubstep pool on the first launch...
