I am not sure where the diminished returns kick in, but running your ram at higher speeds does appear to have a positive impact:
290s @ 1050/1260 are pulling ~3.661mhs. 290s @ 1050/1375 are pulling ~3.731mhs.
280xs @ 1130/1250 are pulling ~2.88mhs. 280xs @ 1130/1500 are pulling ~3.043mhs.
I would advise people to tweak their ram clocks up for maximum hash.

If a 750Ti can pull 2.x mhs out of 30w.. imagine what kind of optimizations could be had out of AMD cards without raising their power usage past what it is now.

I am not saying this miner isn't a scam, but give it due process before screaming scam.
Preliminary speaking, it appears to do be doing what it should be doing. My pool figures are definitely up. I was averaging ~75mhs before, now averaging ~110mhs. My share val per block went from .06xx to upper .08xx, near .09.
ok, bro my run.bat file has 2 pools pool 0 (my) pool 1 (creator pool) but after starting miner digs to pool 1 and pool 2 - WTF? I specify only my pool in the run.bat because the miner is coded internally to switch to girino's pool 2% of the time. In other words, if you keep his pool in your run.bat, you are running 2 sessions for him. I have been watching my miners for a good hour now and they switch as expected with 95% of the time being spent on pool 1 (my pool).

Put the program to work on the day and look at the statistics pool. The longer the program - the smaller the actual speed on the pool.
The miner has been available for literally ~1 hour. Give it some time.

People, why are you against the devs making 0% off their hard work?
OT: Miner is working well with advertised speed increases both on my end and pool.

Now that's a nice website background!

I don't use it but why not just update to the fastest already.
Getting harder to believe the algo/method can be tweaked multiple times with improvements.. Starting to be like intentionally weakened releases.

I have a 30% energy savings going from Scrypt to XPM on every single rig i have running. I can do 5 290s at full speed on a single 1500w supply now. It's awesome

hello
what im doing wrong?
1 rig
2x280x Asus C2T - 3.2 CPD after 14h of run ( average) 1x280x vapor-x - 0.0 CPD after 14h of run ( avarage) CPU G3320
2 rig
2x208x Vapor-x 0.0 CPD after 11h of run ( avarage) CPU G860
setting in .bat file
color 02 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 NsXpmMiner.exe -o ypool.net -u random -p superhardpass -di 2 -hc 256
why have all Vapor-x 0.0 CPD avarage ( estimated is 1,86) and card found some share.
thanks
I have noticed that the Average CPD figure doesn't show up unless you hit 10chs. Either way, i ignore the Estimated / Average CPD. Your most important indicator of relative card performance is the 4ch figure. It does not directly indicate profitability, but it does indicate if your card is running at "max RPM" if you will. Also, you should also be running with -ss 2 (lowest CPU load) as you are not running with quads and you do have multiple cards. It is always best to keep CPU load under 75% with this miner.

It's worse than banks banning BTC imo
How is a bank dropping BTC China worse than the PBOC commanding Banks drop Bitcoin accounts? I agree, that doesn't make any sense. My question was more about how important was that bank to BTC China? I am sure very important. Every single exchange over there will eventually have their bank accounts shuttered. If it is true that actual regulations have been put into place (as opposed to 'word of mouth'), then this process will be accelerated. The system needs to flush China down the drain for real recovery, and this is the first big step. The only people selling are the Chinese speculators. Don't sell with them. The USD is stronger than the yaun. Hold the line.

People, calm down, it is not the first coin that had a problem with Devs and where the community has taken over the coin and made everything work out well.
An example? hmm Diamondcoin it's changed like 2 times and is now already on coinmarketcap and getting bigger everyday.
Diamondcoin....hold on let me LOL for a couple minutes. Whitecoin = premined = missing devs = scam WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES Doesn't mean it isn't worth holding for some random pump.

Bitcoins are going no where I am frustrated with BTC.
There are no legal ways of converting the currency to USD or USD to BTC without going to prison.
/venting
I really want to spill tears I am so frustrated.
Coinbase = 100% legal.

Looks dead Went offline about an hour ago [2014-04-21 16:27:41] Stratum connection to pool 4 interrupted [2014-04-21 16:27:41] Pool 4 stratum+tcp://wc.scryptominers.com:3390 not responding! Same here. Had 10k coins with them. Hope i didn't get screwed. Coins still there. However, there is a high likelihood they are getting did get DDoS'd or something. Edit: They are back up. Down again.

When does distribution for WC finish?
With the multipools - very, very soon.

Obligatory scam warning.
Do your homework before sending any BTC, folks.

OP, how many bitcoins did you sell off under $400 a couple weeks ago?
|
|
|
$500 seems to be the psychological price right now. I would love to see us creep back to $550 levels (sustainably)
It will do better than that.
