what the hell is going on with all the mining server drop-outs, and Coined Up going offline all the time, tonight?
It's getting both good and bad attention. Lots of it. The people who are dealing the bad attention need their testicles removing with a blunt knife =/ EDIT: Yay - CoinedUp is back again!

Hey DogeCoin creator. When you created the wallet app (or modified the LuckyCoin wallet), you forgot to edit the text when the owner encrypts the wallet. It just warned me that I would lose all my LuckyCoin if I lost the password

Any Doge Billionaires here? UK Billion (1,000,000,000,000) or US Billion (1,000,000,000)? If either, then not me XD Also, UK billion hasn't been mined yet.

I started mining and my GPU temperature went up to 77 degrees celcius. I shut down the mining in fear of my gpu melting. Is it normal for the gpu to work that hard? I have a normal gaming rig with geforce 670 gtx.
My 7990 runs at a constant 100c XD My 7970 runs at a about 81c and my 7850 is about 68c When my watercooling block arrives for my 7990 things will get better (plus I will be able to run both cores, not just one)

Do any of you know a real stable pool ? I've been mining doge since wednesday, in three different pools impossible to get 24hours of mining in a row without the pool website freezing or having the pool down.
Now on netcode, the site doesn't respond.
ANNOYING
I am on http://doge.pool2.webxass.de/They just moved to a newer, more expensive server, yet STILL charge no fee - except for a 0.1% auto donation! It is only a small pool, but I am very happy with them, and always have been (right from the start - or 7 days ago, as we call it)

I have a new trading strategy. The next 1 million I mine I am keeping (I mined 300,000 in the last 9 hours). Then, half of all I mine I will keep, half I will sell at current market value, to pay for the electricity of my miners.

Ive mined nearly 6 million already, on 1500Kh/s of miners. I be slumdoge mirrionaire!
Shame I sold most of them for 9 satoshi each XD

You did put the config file in the Dogecoin appdata folder I hope? If you don't know how to find it, just open a folder tab, and put %appdata% in the address bar, and look for dogecoin - put it in that folder. If it's in the original folder (that the wallet .exe is in), it won't work. Then restart the .exe

I have realised with CoinedUp - if you type the wrong sell/buy price, and there is coins on there for sale at that price - it doesn't buy from the cheapest upwards (like Mt.Gox does) - but it buys AT THAT PRICE!
Be aware!!
I realised that, as I thought I had been screwed over by the site the other day - it turns out I put a buy in at 0.0000006, instead of 0.00000006, and so since there were some for sale, I bought them.
Remember to count your zeroes!!

The FBI was somehow able to get DPR's private keys for at least part of his stash. The FBI moved these coins to an address they control with a series of 324BTC transfers (324 = FBI on telephone keypad). So they already have the private keys needed to auction the coins off.
Why would they do it that piecewise, rather than all at once? how is this different than auctioning off rare art or expensive cars that were proceeds of crime?
I don't know. Suppose that instead of bitcoins he had the money deposited as Swiss francs in a Swiss bank account, and the FBI got hold of the bank account number and password. Could they just transfer the francs to another account in the same bank and auction them, or convert them to USD? Or suppose that he had placed a large bet on the outcome of World Soccer Cup 2018. Would the FBI auction his betting ticket? As someone has already posted they'll most likely just auction it off. It'd be very interesting to see what price it'll go for. And probably in one big transaction The Bitcoin foundation should lobby for it to be sold in smaller tranches to not allow a huge manipulation of the market. They should give them to those miners who were screwed over by Butterfly Lab's inability to ship on time (me, bitter? never!!)

I've put 185,000 up on CoinedUp for 0.001btc each - to da moon! XD I know I won't get it, but hey, if I do, I'll be laughing XD
I've already mined around 5 million, and sold 'em all.
I should have kept them, lol, but I'm going to keep my next million, I think, then just sell at the market price.
