21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 22, 2024, 04:37:27 PM
I still can't believe how Braga got a huge defeat against Qarabag home in the first leg. After a 4-2 loss I'm curious about what Braga will do. Technically they are still a way stronger team on paper but it doesn't look like they give enough importance to the Europa League. I think this is still a matchup that they can be the winner of but let's see. I won't place a bet on their win of course after that poor result. It is really hard to predict this one too.
Just like i said previously this is surprising result because on the paper Braga is stronger than Qarabag and mostly people will thought this is easy match for Braga but unfortunately Qarabag was displayed outstanding performance at that time and Braga have to lost at their home ground and conceded 4 goals is not good situation for them because their mission to qualified to round of 16 will be very hard and for second leg today Braga have to win at least 3 goals margin

Qarabag in the comfortable position and they almost to make a history in this competition because if today Qarabag can eliminate Braga then this is could be the first time for Qarabag to reach to round of 16 and i think Braga should beware of Juninho because this player was very impressive this season Juninho was able to scores 21 goals in all competitions even in the first leg Juninho was scored goal and according to the squad update between these teams i can see all of Qarabag main players will be available including Marko Vesovic who return to play again after got suspension and about betting options i will assume Qarabag will targetting draw results from this match and this option has good odds @3.80 or both teams to scores could be good as safe bet
I can't say Braga is much better than Qarabag. They finished second in their group in the Europa League, but they were unlucky because the first place was unbeaten Bayer. Braga couldn't do anything in the Champions League and got only 4 points in the group. It seems to me that these clubs play about the same way. It is possible that Qarabag will win again.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto White Paper on: February 21, 2024, 08:49:02 PM
Well, if we talk about personal data collection, I think not only centralized exchanges are selling customer data to other third parties but even banks and other organizations like apple or Google are also doing that. That is why many people do not participate in the cryptocurrency market but their information is sold on the internet.

In my opinion, if we are already citizens of a country that has been issued an ID and use devices and services provided by organizations, then our identity has long since ceased to belong to us. And are you sure you don't use your bank account, insurance card, smartphone, email...

Look, doing KYC on a crypto exchange and doing it in a bank is not the same thing. When we do the KYC on a bank, they do not know if we own any crypto or not. Your apple account or a google account does not ask for your real identity or your photo. I do not know about apple but I know about google. I use Gmail and other google services but it never ask for my identity. Even if it ask for names or birthday date, you can easily give incorrect information and noting will happen.

For banks, they do the KYC process on their office and the chance of identity stealing is minimum. But, the purpose of using crypto is to maintain your privacy. We do not use banks for privacy enhancement. So, it does not matter if we do KYC there or not. But, when we KYC on crypto exchange or a Casino, they know we are crypto users and this is not good for privacy. Right?
There are many different databases that can identify a person. I think that in modern times it is not very difficult to match your bank accounts, your mobile phone number and your Apple or Google account. For example, if you bought a subscription or an app. Of course kyc on an exchange is an easy opportunity for third parties to get your data. But if you use bank payments, that also reveals your identity.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Spot ETF's Manipulate Bitcoin's price? on: February 21, 2024, 07:29:59 PM
Any big player who has a lot of bitcoins can manipulate the market. It used to be cryptocurrency exchanges that could easily set the price direction they wanted. Then it became the futures cme etf. Now it has become wall street. Although any of them can influence the price. This market is still very young and highly manipulative.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 21, 2024, 06:58:06 PM
Inter are the definitely the best team in Seria a. I would say seria a is no longer competitive.inter has been the best team for the last 3 seasons, although they lost the title to Napoli last season. They were champions league finalists. As there are no opposing team challenging inter for the title this season. Juventus are too inconsistent to be in the title race. Napoli have fallen after changing their coach last season
Yes, I guess this season Inter really have no rivals and they can become Serie A champions, the main thing is that they don't have any injured players. The difference with Juventus is 9 points and they have one game in hand. This is enough to be careful in the Champions League and not to lose strength in Serie A. Inter now look like a contender for two titles.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 21, 2024, 06:17:30 PM
I think the big funds bought the coins at the last bottom and now have a big profit. It turns out they have already made x3 in a year. And now these funds need to gradually sell their coins. I want to be wrong, but there is a reason why there was a good rise on etf news.

It is always hard to precisely tell why the prices of Bitcoin and the rest of cryptocurrencies are rising because there isn't a single factor but it is very complicated.
The ETF news might be a factor itself because certainly there is many new players in the field that joined recently but there is also the approaching halving that might gave a boost and of course big players that saw an opportunity of these events to boost a little the market...

Now to answer the OP question, I think it is a little bit hard to see a new ATH in the next month but few days before the halving, things might go messy and we could see it happening. I say 20% we might see that and I believe it will not last long if that happened before the price goes down for a while.
There have been many times when bitcoin has grown by 30% or more in a month. But there have also been big drops in just a few days. For example, when there was a covid dump, or luna crash, or ftx crash. I don't want to think negative, but now many people are euphoric because bitcoin has grown well lately and will soon be halving, which should push the price up again. But if you look at the chart, there hasn't been a correction in a while.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 21, 2024, 05:26:33 PM
Dortmund almost became German champions last year and only some sort of curse prevented them from beating Bayern. So Dortmund is a very strong team that can play on equal footing with the strongest groups, which is proved by the fact that from the group with PSG, Newcastle and Milan they went to 1/8 Champions League.

They should have won the match with PSV, but the referee awarded an extremely controversial penalty, which should not have been awarded, because the Dortmund player played into the ball, not into the feet of the PSV player and because of the referee's mistake Dortmund lost 3 points.
There is no doubt about Borussia Dortmund strength, and they surely can go into next round with their performance at home in second leg match even I am also feeling this penalty was not right, but now all ended with draw and good for the German giant to improve their performance in coming weeks for having good chance for the next round qualification PSV also done good, but they need more experience and quality performance for this level.

Overall both teams done good job in this game and having equal chances but still I have feeling Borussia Dortmund can do better, but they are having some problems in last few weeks which are not allowing them for having enough goals but still their chances are good for having good end in both leagues.
This is an unsatisfactory result for PSV, because they played at home and failed to win the match and it is clear that even though Borussia Dortmund could not win, they will play at home in their second meeting, which means they will be more favored because they will play in front of the fans. their own supporters.

In my opinion, the match was balanced, so this draw is a fair result for the two clubs playing, even though there was disappointment within the hosts. The opportunities they created in this match were not much different, only PSV had several advantages. Borussia Dortmund was able to steal a goal first in the first half, to be precise in the 24th minute and the score remained 0-1 until the end of the first half. In the second half PSV started to respond and in the end they got a penalty which was executed well by Luuk de Jong which made the score equal and it lasted until the final whistle sounded to signal the end of the match.

Borussia Dortmund are in better condition, but they cannot just underestimate PSV, because it has been proven that in this match they can provide resistance that can make the game even. There is nothing impossible for PSV to beat Borussia Dortmund at their own headquarters, as long as they can play very well. I gave bigger odds on Borussia Dortmund, but it's not too big either, I think 60% for Borussia Dortmund and 40% for PSV are fair odds.
I don't understand why PSV were favourites to win the game yesterday. Dortmund are playing against the strongest clubs in the Bundesliga and PSV just don't have the same competition as Dortmund. In the case of Lazio, PSV were lucky to score a penalty. That's the only thing that saved them from defeat. In the return game they will have no chance to get into the 1/4.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rated 6th Among the Top Global Currencies on: February 20, 2024, 07:17:46 PM
It's probably still a matter of time before bitcoin can become number one in the world because more and more people are starting to use it. Even big funds are now buying it thanks to the approved spot bitcoin etf. But honestly, I can't even believe that bitcoin already ranks sixth among all the world's currencies. Just a short time ago, no one would have thought of that.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: February 20, 2024, 06:35:30 PM
It will actually come, but after the hype on Bitcoin (BTC) dies down. We just need to wait until the time comes, the only thing we can do besides waiting is to always monitor the Bitcoin Dominance chart. When it is below 50%, I think that is the right time to slowly accumulate major altcoins. Talking about altseason, what narrative do you think will be carried in the next altseason? Is it RWA or meme as usual?
There are new trends every season. I think the meme will be irrelevant next season. Maybe the hype will be around ai or brc-20. I don't remember a trend repeating every altseason, although almost all altcoins are growing. You need to be able to recognise what will grow better.

Rather than a meme coins, BRC-20 is more irrelevant, remember how these tokens have a negative impact on the Bitcoin blockchain, I think people understand the negative impact of BRC-20. Meme coins are the most relevant category for every season, because they really don't have a strong underlying foundation that allows them to fly at any time.

BTW, have you heard about the new token standard on Ethereum? that's ERC404, recently projects in this category have been widely discussed, especially the Pandora project (PANDORA).
Yes, I've seen these tokens overload the mempool, but I've also seen them grow well. I think this trend may happen again when altseason starts. I haven't heard about the new ethereum token format yet. I'll have to take the time to look into it. Thank you.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 20, 2024, 06:04:54 PM
...
Lazio only beat Bayern thanks to a red card and a penalty. This is the case when only luck but not professionalism helps to win. I do not exclude that Atletico may not lose today, because in football often unpredictable things happen and Inter and Atletico are about the same teams, but still I think that Inter will win because now their class is higher than Atletico's.

Your analysis could not be further from the truth. Lazio wasn't lucky. Bayern Munich did not have a single shot on target in 90 minutes. I am saying no shot, nada! They were passing the ball back and forth, they had good accuracy and the tried to get shots on target all the time, but they did not manage to force the Lazio goalkeeper to defend a single shot! And you call that lucky Lazio? Or is Bayern's inability to play fruitful attacks recently?

I ask you, did you see Upamecano's foul in the box and how he jumped onto the leg of Isaksen? That was insanity and he risked to break his leg... Tell me that was no penalty! Cheesy
Yes, I saw his foul not only in the Lazio game but also in the Bochum game. But that's not the point. If Lazio hadn't scored a penalty, the score would have been 0-0. Now tell me Lazio didn't win that match because of the penalty. Of course the red card was shown fairly and Lazio probably deserved this win. But anyway this victory was only because of the penalty and not otherwise.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 20, 2024, 04:46:44 PM
Look at how Inter play their home matches. In the last five matches they have conceded only one goal. Their defence is very strong and I don't think Atletico can win today. Maybe they can draw, but I think Inter are favourites today. In general, it is difficult to predict anything before this match.
In the Champions League it is always more difficult to make predictions before the match starts because everyone cannot take a benchmark on the performance of each team from what has happened in their respective local leagues. I also think that Inter Milan is the favorite today, but unexpected things could also happen today, like what happened to Bayern Munich when they faced Lazio in the Champions League last week. Even though in general Bayern Munich was also the favorite at that time.

I agree with you. Champions League matches are always difficult to predict. We saw Munich's defeat against Lazio. Lazio won against big teams like Munich despite not being in good form. Many gamblers lost their money in this match. All the teams are strong in today's two important matches. Both teams are equally strong in PSV vs Dortmund match. This is PSV's home match. And PSV are always capable of performing well at home. So Dortmund will have to play very carefully if they don't want to lose.
On the other hand, in the match between Atletico Madrid and Inter, both teams have equal chances of winning. Both have strong squads. But I will put Inter Milan ahead. Because this team has been in great form lately. Inter Milan players have been able to maintain the consistency of good performance.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 20, 2024, 02:10:52 PM
The odds for the matches today are like above.

I must admit one thing above all else. Aren't Atletico Madrid's odds too high?  Huh  Truthfully my expectation was like these teams having much closer odds. Inter were still going to be the favourite team of course. But this looks a bit like bookies underestimate Atletico Madrid. Because this team is always dangerous under Simeone's control.
Can't believing with odd for Atletico Madrid too high although as away match but its seems excited for put betting Atletico, current performance in domestic league Atletico Madrid performance not really bad and last match won over 5-0 against Las Palmas.
Actually Inter Milan is favorable teams for winning against Atletico Madrid but I think has opportunity for Atletico can secure the first leg match result by winning, I can't blame with too high odd given for Atletico Madrid and brave for betting without doubt favorite Atletico Madrid.

During all main players not injury, Atletico Madrid have impressive performance and they can secure the first leg winning match, its not matter with away match and seems Atletico can win above one goal.
Look at how Inter play their home matches. In the last five matches they have conceded only one goal. Their defence is very strong and I don't think Atletico can win today. Maybe they can draw, but I think Inter are favourites today. In general, it is difficult to predict anything before this match.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: February 19, 2024, 08:01:33 PM
In fact, altseason is a condition where Bitcoin (BTC) doesn't dominate the market, that's what we call altseason, for example, on November 27 2022 Bitcoin (BTC) only had 37.89% of the total MC in crypto. Currently we're in the halving narrative in Bitcoin (BTC), which is very profitable and attracting a lot of people's attention to Bitcoin (BTC) itself, so don't expect anything from altcoins in this narrative.
Maybe altcoin season will come but as you said, of course not now. I guess there is a high possibility that Q3 and Q4 will start the altcoin season. Now that Bitcoin's special event halving is approaching, most of us are expecting bigger players to join bitcoin, now will be the time for ETF institutional investors to fight for their position. highest position for them. Just be patient and observe,... personally, I don't wait for the altcoin season to start but will try to accumulate many advantages before it happens.

It will actually come, but after the hype on Bitcoin (BTC) dies down. We just need to wait until the time comes, the only thing we can do besides waiting is to always monitor the Bitcoin Dominance chart. 33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gary Gensler: "Bitcoin is not that decentralized" on: February 19, 2024, 06:59:06 PM
In a recent interview with SEC chairman Gary Gensler, there was something that caught my attention. The chairman stated that "Bitcoin is not that decentralized". That's "partially due to the prominence of centralized crypto exchanges". You can read all about it here: https://www.cnbc.com/2024/02/14/cnbc-transcript-sec-chair-gary-gensler-speaks-with-cnbcs-squawk-box-today-.html

I'm afraid he's right, especially when CEXs hold most of BTC's circulating supply (eg: Binance). It's even worse now with the recent approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs by the SEC. Institutional investment companies like BlackRock, VanEck, and MicroStrategy are accumulating large amounts of the cryptocurrency.

We're essentially selling our BTC to companies driven by mainstream governments' own interests. With this, Bitcoin's true value proposition has failed (banks win). At least, the code is open source. If BTC becomes compromised, what's stopping us from moving to a more decentralized chain in the future (Litecoin, Monero)?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
It's certainly got some elements that you could mistake for being a little on the centralized side, but at the end of the day bitcoin is decentralized through and through. Like considering the fact that no one owns bitcoin besides those who had them in their wallets, are also far-reaching and global with little to no-wait time (in some cases let's be real here lol) sets the precedent that bitcoin's as decentralized as it can be. ETFs however would make you think it's centralized since now, companies could effectively sell bitcoins but at the end of the day, they aren't selling the coins, they are sellign you the rights to own the coin so you're basically paying for a title and not for the property/asset itself.

So yeah, Common Gary L. He's always painted bitcoin in a precarious spot ever since he stepped into the throne. I don't like how he's painting bitcoin to be when millions of people around the planet had benefited from it and none of this would've happened in the first place if bitcoin's unreliable and centralized. Let that sink in.
I don't know how he can consider something he says isn't decentralised dangerous. For example, the dollar is not decentralised either, or any stock exchanges are also fully centralised. I guess his words should not be taken seriously. Your bitcoins belong only to you and that is enough to understand that there is no centralisation here.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 19, 2024, 05:37:47 PM
Gains already existing are impressive, to move further is pushing an elastic situation possibly triggering it to snap back and lose gains more then otherwise.   Its far more constructive for the market to confirm the price action already on the tape  then continually advance without saving its progress with consolidation and moderate selling for those who need to.
I think the big funds bought the coins at the last bottom and now have a big profit. It turns out they have already made x3 in a year. And now these funds need to gradually sell their coins. I want to be wrong, but there is a reason why there was a good rise on etf news.

~snipe~ 5 points is a big advantage and I hope Leverkusen can maintain it until the end of the season. We need to see some different champions.  Smiley

so i don't think a 5-point lead is much. there are still 36 points up for grabs this season. there could still be one or two surprises in the last 12 matchdays.
however, leverkusen haven't had a coach as good as xabi alonso in the last 20 years. xabi is a successful guy who always wants to win.
and that could really be the way to success this year. but you know bayern munich.
i only believe in the championship for leverkusen when hrádecký or wirtz are holding the championship trophy aloft  Wink
The gap is 8 points so far and Bayern have yet to win today's match. Bochum are certainly not a serious club for Bayern, especially now, when they need to pick up points. But still Bochum is not playing badly at home and has not lost the last five matches. Therefore, if Bayern draw today, the gap with Leverkusen will be 7 points.

Bayern Munich's past record against Bochum is very good. And against this team, Bayern Munich have often won by large margins in past matches. In the last 5 matches against Bochum, Munich players have scored a total of 28 goals. and conceded only two goals. Kane had a great performance in the last match against Bochum. Munich won the match 7–0. Kane has three goals and two assists. Against such a team, Munich will not drop a point today. Even if they don't win by a big margin, Munich will secure 3 points in this match.
Bayern failed to win today and didn't even draw. They lost to a club from the bottom of the standings and did not close the gap with Leverkusen. Now it will be really difficult for them to compete for the first place in the Bundesliga. If Leverkusen don't make the same mistakes, they will become champions.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: February 18, 2024, 05:20:55 PM
On the low liquidity exchange Poloniex, the Solana withdrawals are paused and the price dropped over 35% from the market price and currently it is 5% below normal price. Obviously once they resume withdrawals, the prices will sync back to market price. Do you guys see this as a good opportunity to make a free 5% profit? Or do you guys think that they will take ages to resume the withdrawals and the price will keep falling in the coming days?

I am going to take advantage since this is not the first time this has happened and withdrawals usually resume in days.
It's normal when the withdrawal is blocked and the price has dropped. In a few days, if withdrawals are resumed again, the price will become the market price. But if you have the opportunity to buy, it's probably a good idea to take advantage of it. But sometimes sell-offs on poloniex are an indicator of market movement, so you need to be careful.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: February 18, 2024, 01:56:09 PM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?
There are many other altcoins that are more popular besides monero, now everyone is paying attention to the main coin, namely bitcoin, because monero is an altcoin so it is not very popular at the moment. Apart from Bitcoin, Monero was beaten by Ethereum, which became the main altcoin of choice for investors.
Let's take a closer look at how Monero is developing this year and it will be bullish again whether Monero will be the best choice.
Monero has a very large community and implement a lot of things. I don't know why you say this coin is not popular, it's just that this project has a different niche. Look, they have been delisted from almost all major exchanges, but the price per coin is still high. I think this project is doing just fine. The main thing is the idea, which was originally thought up by cypherpunks.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 18, 2024, 12:58:55 PM
So far I also have the same belief regarding this possibility, it's just that we can't confirm it yet. Regarding possibilities, anything is possible and will happen because the crypto market is uncontrolled and does not have to be the same as what happened before. If a new ATH hit before the halving, then this will be a new history for bitcoin so predicting its price between cycles becomes increasingly difficult.

If I had the option, then I am more confident that a new ATH will occur after the halving. The price has crossed $52k and may continue to test new resistance above, but that is unlikely to happen if bitcoin demand ahead of the halving does not increase rapidly. Currently the demand for bitcoin has increased, but to match the previous price record we have to get more big investors in the market.
New ATH before halving? actually is strong possibility looking current bitcoin price hit to $52k, Bitcoin's current price position is not too far away from reaching the latest ATH where previously it was at $69k.
Seems more confident before halving arrive we get chance to see bitcoin hit the latest all time high price around $15K left or 30% raise up for bitcoin with new ATH.
In coinmarketcap count down, Bitcoin halving left 61 days and two months seems more enough time for bitcoin raise new ATH, strong possibility with demand and supply where many investor more prefer to hold their bitcoin waiting before halving then selling it right now but get losses opportunity when halving time coming bitcoin have been pump.
Things can change in a matter of days. As usual here you cannot be sure that a new ATH will happen before halving, even if there is a little bit of growth left now. Of course it would be very good if it happened, but I remember many people thought the same in 2020, but there was a collapse before halving. I hope this story doesn't happen again.

40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 17, 2024, 05:37:44 PM
Leipzig lost mentally, that's all and now they have to visit Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg, so we know that the atmosphere of the match there is no stranger to the visiting team feeling how hot the stadium is. Bayern Munich they underestimated their opponents too much and what  is clear is that the Bayern Munich players are not compatible with the strategy that Tuchel is implementing and look at how stiff the rhythm of the game is against Lazio with the minimum number of players. And for PSG even if they  qualify and are able to beat Real Sociedad again it is still not certain that they will get the trophy from UCL. PSG did not  build this club from the souls of the players. Just buying expensive players instantly, it has been proven  that last season was full of star players, just doesn't guarantee winning a trophy especially now where you always rely on goal contributions from Mbappe who at the end of this season will soon leave.
One step at a time, don't rush too much, as yet no team is confident that they can become champions. Enrique did a good job with PSG, they may not be a weak opponent, and although PSG does not have such a stellar lineup as last year, they can well be considered one of the contenders, at least I definitely do not consider them weaker than Bayern now. But it will be very difficult to face Real or City, these teams are now in great shape.
I wouldn't really favor PSG in the Champions League this season, if they manage to go further it means it's a big surprise this season.
I see that realistically, this does not mean underestimating PSG's strength under Enrique's coaching because when compared to other top teams such as Real Madrid and Manchester City, PSG's strength is far behind.

That's not to say PSG can't be favourites this season, because every season their chances are highly rated. They just don't have much experience in such competitions. But they have a great coaching staff and good players. I don't know why they are unlucky in the Champions League. One day they will take the cup.
