861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: May 31, 2023, 12:24:31 PM
I really wants to know from the high members those I think that knows more than me on altcoin. I have came to understand that whenever we are heading close to bull or just say nearly we always have new projects launching on a regular basis to stand a chance to enjoy the bull trend as well I often noticed cmc are being flooded with shitcoins in other for them to attract investors, who will invest in their project to enjoy the full wave of bull market  and after which there comes a delisting of many since they can't afford to meet up the exchange standard. Example of those exchange are Binance, any token or coin that got listed in their exchange without meet up to the standard they quickly gets delisted quickly.
Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.

I think you have answered your own question. Altcoins are only created to make a profit. It doesn't matter how it happens, whether it's x on the exchange or your investment, which will eventually be lost, meaning i.e. your money will go to someone else. The result is always the same, someone makes a profit and someone loses money. For altcoins it is a normal cycle.

I have to disagree. There are projects out there that you can invest in that can mix TradFi with DeFi. When you have a crypto project backed by a fund that relates to the token price then its different. The fund brings in traditional money to the crypto space, so its not a case of just buying an altcoin, handing over the money to the developers and them running away with it. I agree that is all to common but there are other alternatives.
So far, I don't know of any projects that are not shitcoins, which come and go. Only trends and coin names change. I can probably only name a few of the older projects that have uses It's ETH, Monero, probably exchange token BNB. The rest DeFi, meme, smart contracts, NFT are just rubbish, which more often leads to loss of money than profit. So once you have bought a coin and made a profit, you need to sell it and forget about this project.

863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 31, 2023, 09:19:05 AM
Inter Milan and AC Milan are lucky as they have qualified for the Champions League. With Inter Milan's erratic performance at the start of the season, I thought they would not be in the top four of the table. However, Inter Milan and AC Milan have played quite well in the last few matches. Unlucky Juventus team, they could not qualify for the Champions League due to losing 10 points. But I don't think any Juventus player will leave the team because of not being able to play in the Champions League. Besides, Juventus have enough money. Even if a player leaves the team, Juventus can take qualified replacements.
Some of the players who are rumored to be leaving Juventus after this season are over are due to the expiration of their contracts, and don't think that Juventus will be destroyed next season because they don't play in the champions league because after all Juve is still a big club.

Most likely Juventus will only play in the Conference League, or Europa League if the two clubs above them or at least one of AS Roma or Atlanta loses in the last match and Juventus can get full points against Udinese, but that looks impossible because Atlanta will face Monza as the home team and also AS Roma will face Spezia as well as a home match, so the possibility of seeing both teams lose is difficult to materialize so Juventus will have to settle for the conference league.
It's fair to say that Juventus haven't had much success in Europe in a long time. I can't remember the last time they did well in the Champions League. This season in the Europa League they also failed to perform well. Hopefully in the Conference League next year they will be able to contend for a high result.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: May 30, 2023, 03:22:12 PM
Altcoin season typically refers to a periThe market cycles of cryptocurrencies are highly unpredictable and influenced by a variety of factors, including market sentiment, adoption, and regulatory developments. It is important to conduct your own research and consult multiple sources before making any investment decisions.
If you look at the bitcoin chart, you can see four-year growth cycles. Around the same time the entire market was rising, meaning that altcoins start to rally after bitcoin starts to rise. Accordingly, the cycles are not unpredictable. So far it has happened every four years after the halving. Hopefully it will happen again in 2024.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 30, 2023, 02:48:10 PM
I agree with you that Barcelona succeeded in La Liga because they didn't have a difficult schedule like Madrid. But Real Madrid have failed to produce results anywhere other than the Spanish Cup. For Real Madrid, this season has been one of their worst. They failed to qualify for the Champions League final and lost the opportunity to fight for first place in La Liga.
There was no stress for Barcelona at the midseason, as they had outstanding records and points on the board. Xavi Hernandez didn't sleep on this one, as he made sure everything worked smoothly for his team. Barcelona had a fantastic season, finishing above Real Madrid in the league table, and winning La Liga was a huge accomplishment for the blaugrana. Real Madrid had bigger goals to achieve this season, but they ran out of luck. There is always opportunity for improvement, so keep an eye out for the Los Blancos next season; they will come for everything.
Xavi was able to surprise everyone by leading Barcelona out of crisis and managed to succeed in La Liga. But all the other competitions were ignored. Manchester United, for example, beat Barcelona in the Europa League. But Sevilla managed to beat Manchester United. You know what I mean? That is, Sevilla were stronger than Barcelona and will soon be playing in the Europa League final. Xavi should try to achieve other results too. It's good that Barcelona finished first in La Liga. But they have done it before.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 30, 2023, 12:20:40 PM
I think the issue of spending money is not a fact. Skill and strategy are key. Barcelona are dominating La Liga. Real Madrid is far behind Barcelona. But I would say Barcelona need more effort to match Real Madrid. Real Madrid need to prepare themselves hard. Barcelona is the best team in La Liga
It's fair to say it's good for Barcelona if only for La Liga, because Barcelona has not been successful in other competitions this season so the good things can only be seen in La Liga. While Real Madrid always struggles in different competitions even though this season Real Madrid was only able to secure the Copa Del Rey trophy. But in terms of quality Real Madrid is also still quite good and I think Real Madrid is not far behind Barcelona because I don't see that through the number of points they have earned this season.

867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: May 29, 2023, 05:46:29 PM
For now it may seems as nothing being wrong with the project but we cannot predict what may come after in the future concerning this same memecoin, though it started well now but we cannot predict the entire future it has base on it developers interest and mindset towards the project, but what i always take for memecoins is to weigh them all on certain level of being thesame but different developers, there's no reliability in anything that get you guaranteed that nothing will happen inbthe nearest future if you invest on memecoins.
I don't understand how a project can be OK when this project was created for the fun of it and makes no sense at all. Similarly, many were shocked by the success of Shiba. Now these projects have a huge capitalisation, which can be compared to a real existing business. This shows once again that there are few serious things in cryptocurrencies. I believe that mem coins will have the fate of terra luna one day.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2022/23 on: May 29, 2023, 05:09:39 PM
Really bad to see Sporting Lisboa out of UCL, i think Braga doesnt have the level to compete on Champions League, and i also think they are not gonna pass the qualification roundof UCL.

why should you be skeptical about Braga's performance in the UCL later, based on their statistics last season, they played quite well and have produced 25 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats. UCL is an event that is always awaited by all football clubs in the European leagues and congratulations to Braga, Benfica and Porto who have succeeded in getting UCL tickets.
Of all the Portuguese clubs, only Sporting and Benfica, who lost to Inter, have shown a very good level of play recently. That's probably why it's unusual to see Braga in the Champions League instead of Sporting. I don't remember Braga achieving good results in the European Cups. Interestingly, their best result in their history was in 2011 when they lost the Europa League final to Porto.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 29, 2023, 04:38:41 PM

Not only is Roma recently is in a better form than Sevilla but they have also Mourinho as a coach who has won more finals than any other coach (so to say,as there are a lot of coaches who have won even more  Grin) and his experience will be of great value to Roma in this final.Roma won last year the Europa Conference League against Feyenoord and winning another European cup in just two years which make it two out of two would be one of Roma club best achievement.

It won't be easy however as Sevilla is the team who has won Europa League more than any other team and they have won it even when they have not been the favorite just like this time.I think it is on this Wednesday so we will be watching a great game.

Sevilla have improved a lot in the last weeks and months compared to the beginning of the season and if you look at Roma they have only won 1 of their last 9 games and that was the 1-0 against Leverkusen. Rome didn't lose the second leg because Mourinho just played tactically so that the 90 minutes just went by without a goal, will that work against Sevilla? Probably not, because Sevilla plays much better in European competitions than in the league.
In the last three games in laliga Sevilla performance is not impressive,  while playing with Elche one of the weakest team in laliga they could only come out with a draw. Judging from laliga their performance is poor but from their games in Europa League they have been doing so well.
La Liga was long over for Sevilla, so the remaining games did not matter to them. Their position in the middle of the standings could no longer be improved. Their poor play at the start of the season meant they were denied cup games the following season. Now, however, they have a very important game in the Europa League final against Roma, so they are preparing for this match, keeping their strength in the home championship.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 29, 2023, 09:20:21 AM
This season the most interesting thing for me was about Barcelona and their coach Xavi.
We know Xavi is not experienced and Barcelona is the second team he is working there as a coach after the Arabian team that's why we were not expecting to see Xavi being even at the top of the table because Barcelona had some financial issues and they couldn't even buy expensive players.
Xavi won the race against one of the most experienced and famous coaches in the world, Carlo Ancelotti who is known for his performance in the champions league. But even the great Ancelotti couldn't stand against Xavi, which is another interesting point of this season.

In fact, Xavi did well for Barcelona as early as last season, but Barcelona had a very big gap with Real Madrid. This season, Xavi has been coaching Barcelona since the start of the season and that's why they were able to do well. But they still need to try to do more next season.
One of the keys to Xavi Hernandez's success with Barcelona this season, he can apply great discipline and he applies something that they have been missing in recent seasons. One or two touches have now been demonstrated by Barcelona again, they control the game. While they struggled at first to turn their possession into exploitable opportunities, they have ultimately done well this season. One of them with the presence of Lewandowski inside is as strong.
This is what a coach should be able to demonstrate, Xavi really adopted what he did when he was a player. Barcelona's distinctive style of play is back under his coaching.
Probably a great success for an aspiring coach who is almost straight out of his footballing career. Especially Barcelona one of the best European clubs. At first I was surprised that the newbie became a coach, but when their game returned to its former professional level I believed in Xavi. After Messi's leaving and before the coming of Xavi, Barcelona had fallen on hard times.

872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: May 29, 2023, 06:51:48 AM
Not quite right. Some altcoins do die, even those that were in the top cmc. Look at the history of cmc for example for 7 years. And you will realise that altcoins don't last long. That is, there is always the risk of buying a coin at the "bottom" and it will never grow again.
that's right so many altcoins are actually hardly rising from their grave, they just died out, even the top coins out there aren't different either so many top coins are losing market capitalisation nowadays, that's the harsh truth.
I think those coins that are currently in the top cmc in the next bull market will be replaced by other projects. No one needs to moonlight for coin holders like dot or ada. But new projects like sui, aptos are more technologically advanced and could easily make it to the top. The time for altcoins is going very fast.
It's true that the development of this new project is absolutely amazing and maybe it's only a matter of time to see it at the top of CMC rankings,
it would be great if more and more new projects like that,
we'll see what it will be like in the future.
There are projects that are simply improving an old project product which makes them more attractable. Altcoins product are just keep improving, Imagine the product of top 100 altcoins from the last 7 years and compared it today. Some of those top 100 altcoin in the last 7 years becomes obsolete because of the lack of utility and just died out. I believe that this cycle will just keep repeating unless projects realized the project evolution is important and should be done to stay relevant to the current market demands.
I think the usefulness of altcoins is invented by altcoin developers. It all depends on how much you believe in a particular project until you are completely disappointed in it. Almost all altcoins are worthless. There are a few projects that have carved out a niche in the market and have applications, e.g. eth, monero. Even Ripple is useless so far, just promises. Therefore, it is better to sell coins and forget about them, investing in new ones in the future.

874  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: May 28, 2023, 02:05:01 PM
If we pay attention to the trends that have occurred since March it seems that bitcoin will not rise in the short term, maybe after summer or another 2 months the price can rise again because many investors are still waiting for the economic and political situation to improve, and when the price is on the floor then the best thing is to keep buying.
The economic and political situation will always have turmoil in this world because the economy and politics are two things that are always liked by many people because through this sector the circulation of money is always more so that the turmoil is always there. Even so, investors will still buy more when they see that Bitcoin is already at a lower price because in addition to targeting large profits, investors also often target low prices on Bitcoin because that is the most important part for those who invest in the long term.

Bitcoin is not about quick profits. There is no need to consider short term investing. If you want fast money, good luck finding a new meme. Bitcoin is at the bottom right now, but you have to have the patience to profit from it in a few years. Every year people wish they had bought bitcoin a few years ago.
New memes also won't guarantee someone to make money quickly because now there are also many new memes that are not able to grow and don't get a significant increase in price after being launched into the market. So the wiser choice in this case will still lead to Bitcoin even though it won't be profitable quickly in a short time, but Bitcoin can always be better than any new meme which sometimes has absolutely no price.
Probably successful meme coins have cycles. In 2021 it was Shiba, this year it was pepe. Probably the next similarly successful but useless project will happen again in a few years. I just gave an example of how fast profits can happen with altcoins, but of course there is a huge risk. Bitcoin is a different kind of investment.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Connecting Bitcoin wallets to dApps: Wallet Connect on: May 28, 2023, 01:06:15 PM
I am not in favour of Bitcoin becoming something like ETH or ATOM. Bitcoin is not designed for tokens or NFTs. It has a small bandwidth. With the advent of BRC20 transaction fees have increased many times over. If this continues and you can connect to various dapps, which as I said are not conceived in the bitcoin blockchain, problems could start to occur with the network.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: May 28, 2023, 11:32:39 AM

Well, I bought some fractions of Bitcoin at the price of $30K, ETH at $2,100 but unfortunately they have been going downward since then. The bearish trend in the whole market is still prevailing, which greatly impacts on coin prices. Despite the bear market, Bitcoin is still holding on its ground with its price not fluctuating over the top. However, the altcoins are becoming more volatile than before and I begin to doubt whether investing in altcoins is a wise choice. Did you invest in altcoins ? What do you think of the current altcoin market ? Please let me know.
History repeats itself. If you are unsuccessful in buying bitcoin, the best thing for you to do is just hold on to your coins until the next cycle, when cryptocurrencies start to rise again. Believe me, you are not the only person worried about this. Altcoins really aren't the best option for you if you're that worried. Just keep bitcoin and you'll be fine.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: May 27, 2023, 08:00:25 PM
Hopefully yes and i agrre with your topic the market will come baxk bigger again whatever very soon ar little later possible as well.
I think that the market will not get bigger soon, since the crypto is not at the best level now, participation in the bounty is negligible, investors also don’t really want to invest in new crypto innovations, but let’s hope that the market will start growing in the near future and we all let's start earning our money
No one knows what the trigger is for new money to flow into the market. It seems to me that this time the money could come from China, which will remove its ban on crypto in June. But it will probably be a local event. Global growth will happen in two years, after halving next year. Hopefully this summer will be positive for cryptocurrency.
878  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: May 27, 2023, 05:57:30 PM
It is very difficult to accurately predict whether the bitcoin price will continue to rise or not. If you look at the recent crypto market situation, it seems that the potential for an increase in bitcoin prices is still possible. Moreover, currently the price of bitcoin is trading in the range of $26k-$27k. Therefore, it is better for you to hold your assets first and continue to monitor the market so that you do not lose the momentum to sell at even higher prices.
$ 25k to $ 28k is the range of the consolidated Bitcoin price, I'm still grateful that Bitcoin hasn't fallen from $ 20k,
meaning Bitcoin is still strong and has the potential to pump again,
yes the condition is that Bitcoin can be above $ 30k and hold it, then bullish will come,
I hope june marketcap can go up and make the market bullish again.

Yeah, before it can fall to $20k, we still have a support line at $25k, so most likely it will going to hold unless there is really bad news in the market and we can see a huge sell off, so far it's not happening as we just training sideways.

We already reach $30k, it's just there are speculators who sell because they are taking profits, so you can't blame them for that.

But in any case we might see $30k again, it's not that far, we ares still in the $26k this May although this might be the first time that we will see a red dildo in a month.
I think speculators are largely to blame. I'm not talking about spot trading, where you can just buy or sell coins. If there were no futures in the market, it would be less manipulative. That all changed when the big boys with big money came into the market. Remember 2017 when the bubble inflated a lot but collapsed after futures came in. They are making huge money.
879  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 27, 2023, 04:14:08 PM
Well looks like May will end in the red as is currently at -8.5% with 5 days to go. Notably it will be the first red month this year after 4 months of upside, so hardly surprising to see a correction. I don't find it particularly bearish as it's less than -10%, instead of -20% or -30% that is always a possibility in Bitcoin for a monthly candle. Price does remains above the 50 Month MA however that continues to rise in bullish fashion.
This May really didn't turn out as badly as many expected. 8% is not much for bitcoin, considering that sometimes such fluctuations happen in one day. However, summer is usually not the best time for cryptocurrencies, so it is likely that this correction could continue for a few more months. But I don't think we are in for another bear season.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: May 27, 2023, 02:21:13 PM
New memecoins seem to be a great investment if you get in on them early on.
# BART #DOGEAI #GREG  #DONS
But buy at your own risk when the % Is over 2000% already and most investors are looking to cashout.
https://coinmarketcap.com/view/memes/

And there is another new kid in the meme block called $GMFAM fully supported by the famous Seedify. I got some $gmfam airdrop for holding sfund and snfts. They have announced a possible cex listing, I think I will watch and see where this meme can go interms of price, this is my first meme so I don't intend to sell it hurriedly coz it owned by a trusted project.
There are a lot of mem coins these days. If you get an airdrop that is worth at least some money, you are probably in luck. If I were you, I'd sell those coins and forget about them. The chances of it becoming a new pepe or doge are very small. Most likely in a month no one will remember about this project.
