561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 19, 2023, 01:31:45 PM
Agree, the changes that Rudi Garcia will make, most likely it will not make Napoli look good again like the previous season when it was led by Spalletti. If Napoli can't win against Sasuolo or Lazio, then surely they won't be able to win the Scudetto again, because we still have Inter, Ac Milan, Juventus, Roma, and there are lots of tough teams in Serie A which will likely make it difficult for Napoli to collect points.
if you look at it from the point of view of the current coach experience, it is indeed very much different, but do we all remember that this all depends on how the Napoli players are performing? what I mean is that last season Osimhen was a mainstay of Napoli and until now Osimhen is still at Napoli which means that the chance to defend the Scudetto is still very likely for Garcia even though the strategy will be different but Napoli players know how to keep performing the same as last season.
well, maybe the appearance will be very different from last season but the performance of Napoli players will still be the same as last season so do not worry too much about this problem because even though I had doubts about Napoli performance this season but after Osimhen decided to stay at Napoli I became more convinced if the Scudetto title can still be defended.
I admit that teams like Inter Milan and Roma also have good performance quality and are very tough but some of these teams are not too focused on matches in Serie A because the team focuses on the Champions League and European League.
The performance of the players depends only on the skill of the coach. If the coach can really make the team play, then with star players the team will achieve great success. But if the coach can't build the game, then even with super stars the team will lose. Remember how bad Barcelona played until Xavi came in and how well they started to play after he became the coach. Napoli has two options, good or bad after Garcia becomes coach. We will find out soon enough.

I think that the match Almeria against Real Madrid will be an easy three points for the visitors. For Real Madrid now need to gain these points to increase the distance from Barcelona at the beginning of the season. Probably they are lucky that now they will have an easy opponent and if they score a lot of goals they will take the lead in the standings.
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big surprise in mid-August - Do not panic!!! on: August 19, 2023, 10:30:10 AM
It was reported that SpaceX bitcoin holdings which amounts to $373 million according to WSJ has been sold. This came after it was reported that WSJ discovered documents of SpaceX financial records. But this doesn’t add any substantial evidence because they didn’t report any information whatsoever as to when the sale was done and Musk himself didn’t disclose anything even after this news broke out. So we could simply say it is just  speculation by People.
I agree with you, I also do not think that the reason for the decline is the sale of SpaceX holdings because as you mentioned, Musk himself did not reveal anything after the spread of this news. In addition, it is unlikely that Musk would sell his Bitcoin holdings at a price lower than the purchase price, this is far from businessman thinking.

There may be more than one reason for this sudden decline, including, for example, the interest rate hike in the United States of America, as well as the news of huge sales and long liquidations in many exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and others.

In any case, yes, there is no need to panic, because this is not the first time, and it is certain that Bitcoin will return to its position soon.
I too believe that SpaceX is not the cause of this drop. It is not uncommon for large amounts of bitcoins to be bought and sold on the cryptocurrency market, and this is usually not the cause of a large drop or rise in price. Just now someone successfully created a rumour that caused a panic. We may not know the real reason, or if it is something serious, we will find out about it later.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 18, 2023, 07:00:53 PM
Bitcoin crash, don't panic, we are still expecting a buy dip, I will try to enter at the current lowest price.

It's not a problem when the price returns to bearish, it's an opportunity to accumulate more bitcoins at a discount with this we still have time and continue to buy at the lowest price. Take advantage of the situation that exists only for Bitcoin to be a good choice.

You are meant to have set your buy orders while you wait for the dip to go down. One can wait to buy at a lower price, and the market can just begin to recover again. Some weeks ago, I was just giving an example of someone who expected to buy Bitcoin at $25k, but after their desired price was reached, they still decided to readjust the order so they could buy at $23k. It could happen that the price does not drop to the new expected level.
Not setting orders when overnight bitcoin fell I bought at $26K it was already a low point and a good "buy the dip" IMO.
I waited for the dip price for a long time but this time due to the market going down, I made an entry at that price, it doesn't matter if you get a buy order at $25.5K but at the price you bought it is enough for me, even though it's not about short-term profits but I want to accumulate to reach 1 BTC a little more, the current hope is maybe 30% for the portfolio to touch 1 BTC.
Today I read that there might be a trend reversal and bitcoin price might have reversed. I don't know if we can trust these words, but the uptrend has been up all this year, which is not insignificant, considering that the main growth usually happens after the halving. So it could happen that we see a drop before the halving, as it happened in 2020.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 18, 2023, 04:14:44 PM
I really wonder what Juventus are going to do this season. Last season ended like a nightmare for them and they have been disqualified from European competitions right after that also. They can't be a part of the Europa Conference League this season due to that.

Allegri is still keeping his job but Juventus might lose their patience about him if not much thing changes this season too.

On the other hand they haven't made new signings much. I hope they don't have any problems with their midfield due to injuries especially.
Juventus should be pleased that they still have Massimiliano Allegri. He is a world-class coach that can attract many top clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia. The problem Juventus is facing now is not his fault so he should not be blamed. Juventus would have qualified for the Champions League last season but the ten points deduction made them end the league in 62 points. Fourth-positioned Milan qualified for the UCL with just 70 points, which means Juventus would have grabbed the ticket with 72 points if not for the 10-point deduction. From from point of view, Allegri is sacrificing for the team because of his love and loyalty. Don't also forget that he turned down a lucrative contract from Al Halal which would have made him one of the richest coaches in the world.

It is obviously difficult to navigate a managerial transition but Napoli importance in Serie A should not be understated. The team prospects are improved by keeping players like Osimhen on the team, the coach is not the only factor in the team success. The squad cohesiveness is essential to sustaining their performance level. While a new coach might change the dynamics Spalletti influence illustrates the possibility of a constructive change. The key is to adjust to changing competition and plans. Although retaining the title is difficult Napoli tenacity should not be discounted even though a top four finish is a rigorous goal.
I am not expecting Napoli to get good results in their first three games. The former coach was outstanding both tactically and had a good relationship with the players. I will not underrate Rudi Garcia but he has so much work to do. He has to gain the confidence and respect of the players for him to replicate the same performance this season. If they fail to get a top-four position this season, they might end up losing many key players.
I also think Napoli will face serious problems this season. The change of coach will definitely affect the team's game. Last season Napoli had no competition from the very beginning. This season after the changes, the competition will be from the first matches. Competitors like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Lazio have improved in the summer transfers.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: August 18, 2023, 01:54:29 PM
How can I understand a meme coin's position in the current market? Is there any way to tell if it will be good or bad? I have seen MEXC exchange add many meme tokens daily. How to identify a good token from here?
Remember that meme coins are often highly speculative and volatile investments. They can experience rapid price fluctuations and may not have a long-term sustainable model. If you decide to invest in a meme coin, only invest what you can afford to lose.
Mem coins are known for the fact that some of these have grown very much after listings on exchanges. But it is impossible to guess the right coin that will bring a huge profit. Usually the opposite happens, people lose money after buying such coins. I would not think about such projects at all, there are too many of them to guess the right one. It's like casino roulette.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 18, 2023, 12:24:29 PM
Atletico Madrid are going to face a bigger challenge after winning comfortably against Granada. Betis is their next opponent. Atletico Madrid have a good history against them in away matches in the recent years. But we would watch a competitive match anyway. Betis started great with a tough win over Villarreal. They look ready for new season. I think they will make difficulties for Atletico Madrid.

As a result I don't expect a comfortable win for Atletico Madrid. I'm thinking of betting on handicap 1:0 draw for Atletico Madrid @3.75. It might look risky but I'm expecting a win by Atletico Madrid but by one goal.

What is your opinion on this match?
The last time Betis beat Atletico Madrid on their home field was in 2019. Since then they have had one draw and the other times Atletico Madrid have won. More often than not, the difference in the game has been just one goal, so it seems to me that the next game could end the same way. But after the last game Betis vs Villarreal we can say that the hosts are well prepared for the game.
568  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: August 18, 2023, 09:07:45 AM
-snip-
I also believe that patience is the key to success. But still, the early investors got a huge profit and probably those who buy now will not get such a profit again. Of course, the price will rise after a while, but you can't expect such super profits as it was ten years ago. It is necessary to take advantage of market cycles and to increase the number of coins.
It is true that today's investors cannot expect returns from bitcoin as much as early investors could. That's reality even though it's actually not impossible for bitcoin to exceed 1 million dollars in the future. It is always possible to expect bitcoin prices to go higher, and vice versa.

Remember that, we can never know how the future of bitcoin is related to its future price. There are good possibilities and there are bad possibilities, but try to be patient and invest wisely. That is the best advice than just being optimistic about a great value but ignoring the downside.
Yes, you should always approach investment evaluation with cold blood. If you just dream that bitcoin will be worth a million dollars and buy it just because of that, you may be in for a big disappointment in the future. It is better to learn from your own mistakes to avoid making them later. You can choose the strategy of analysing market cycles and maybe it will bring success.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: August 17, 2023, 04:04:22 PM
`
Many people has a high expectation for BTC but a few have low so they are not disappointed on the performance that BTC is showing nowadays. Like they say, there is no easy money in here and so as in Bitcoin so it's normal that it will have a stable condition and even some declines that can happen most of the times. Bull run is a staple condition along with the bear market.

It's not that history is repeating when they happen but there are few movements in the market which are rumored to repeat. When there is a bull run, 100 percent gain for Bitcoin is only small. I think it can go above 400 percent and the bull run is just around the corner so all should hurry up and start stacking.

There is nothing wrong in placing high expectations with Bitcoin. If you see historical price chart of Bitcoin then its very much clear that Bitcoin has given best ROI to its investors but you have to wait patiently sometime for indefinite period of time to get the desired results. Bitcoin is not for short term investors.
Having said that its difficult to predict future price of Bitcoin as almost all predictions till date have gone wrong. Bitcoin will go up, the only thing we dont know is the time. So stick with Bitcoin with patience.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: August 17, 2023, 01:13:33 PM
I think it is a mistake to say that holding fiat is useless. The market has cycles, and even if you don't sell at the very top, you will still have the opportunity to buy more bitcoins in a few years. If you never sell bitcoin, it means not taking advantage of opportunities. Sometimes the risk does the favour.

Fiat becomes useless to those who live deep in the jungle without having access to spend anything with it. Fiat is of course useful both as a means of payment and as a store of value asset, but everyone can choose which one is best based on their own plans and risk tolerance.

Besides, not everyone will choose bitcoin, which in fact has a different volatility and level of risk compared to other investment assets. Ultimately it all depends on who you are, what your plans are, what your risk tolerance is and so on. Bitcoin was not created to kill fiat, but bitcoin is an alternative solution if you have difficulty making financial transactions via banks and other centralized services.
I think usdt is better suited as a means of payment than bitcoin right now. Almost the whole world depends on dollar and stablecoins are very convenient to use. Unlike bitcoin it has no volatility. The world of cryptocurrencies has changed a lot in the last 10 years. Fiat will probably eventually disappear altogether and cbdc will appear.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: August 17, 2023, 09:44:32 AM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).

Banks are comparatively a safer option compared to Cryptocurrency. Both investment options have their merits and demerits. The Banks are safer but the return on investment / Interest rate is somewhere between 5 to 10% (depending on the country). On the other hand, Cryptomarket is a bit risky but the return on investment is exceptional. It usually comes down to personal choice, that a person is willing to take risks or wanted to play safe.

The main difference between a bank and cryptocurrency is that in a bank, the money belongs to the bank, not to you. With cryptocurrency the situation is the opposite, your coins belong only to you. By the way, with a bank there can also be a risk, for example, bankruptcy. Not all countries have reliable banks. If you have extra money, it is probably better to buy cryptocurrency and forget about it for a few years. The profit can be much more than if you keep your money in the bank.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 16, 2023, 07:49:08 PM

The match between the winner of UCL gonna face UEL winner soon. Manchester city has been favoring to win the match compared with sevilla. I think that the odds was explaining a lot. Manchester city has been successfully securing the full points while sevilla keeps struggling in the first match of la liga. In my opinion that if manchester city may able to win with small score against sevilla. Sevilla is not yet unstable at this moment. Im not favoring this club to win the match. City is one step ahead compared with sevilla.
City's odd quite good consider how strong this team is last season. City was winning treble winners while sevilla was only winning europa league last season after the club was beating roma in the final.
Im thinking about city gonna win against sevilla. It's very good to see the match between the winners of european competitions will happen soon.
I think that Bruyne's absence due to injury will certainly make Guardiola play some of his other best players, even so this is a prestigious match where the UCL and UEFA champions meet, I'm not sure that the result will be better for Manchester City, I think Sevilla can give a surprise to manhester city, in sports betting manchester is indeed the underdog but that doesn't guarantee victory.

I think the match will be tough and both will play tight so maybe there will be difficulties to score more goals, even if one of them wins, the score will not be much, just a narrow win, even though I am a Manchester City supporter they still have to be careful with surprises from Sevilla and always think that Sevilla is a tough opponent, don't underestimate it because Sevilla could have stolen that narrow victory, but I still bet for Manchester City to win.  Cheesy
Sevilla were able to score a goal in the first half and they have a good defence. Manchester City are constantly attacking, but I think they risk conceding another goal. It is still hard to say who will win this match, because there is still a second half to go, but Sevilla are still in the lead, although Manchester City are constantly in possession of the ball.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PYUSD a.k.a Paypal USD on: August 16, 2023, 06:28:42 PM
I have a bad experience with PayPal in the past, they had near monopoly on online transactions at a time and they disregard their users, held funds without issue and had a non responsive service. One of the reason why I switched to crypto was the uselessness of PayPal. And now as we have control over our money, I'm not going to trust PayPal for my crypto. It's their last resort on staying on business but they won't last for long.
I don't understand those who use this system either. Now there are many other services that value their clients. But it is best to use your own wallet, from which you have a private key. This is a guarantee that the coins belong only to you. Although you can't say that about tether, it still seems to me that this stablecoin is much better.
574  Economy / Speculation / Re: $30000 is becoming the resistant price on: August 16, 2023, 03:09:13 PM
We have seen Bitcoin hovering around 30k for a long time. I predict Bitcoin price movement will have a positive impact on the market.  For several more months, Bitcoin will probably rise within this price range.  The market is now in the end of the bear season, as we can see from the Bitcoin price change signal.  We may not have to wait much longer for we may reach the bull market very soon. Those who are waiting for Bitcoin to drop to $27k are probably disappointed, I think they still have time to buy and hold Bitcoin.
It's hard to say about the end of the bear season because most altcoins are constantly falling and it's unclear when it will end. If we talk about bitcoin separately, it is likely that the bear market was over for it at the beginning of this year. Bitcoin has been on the rise for seven months now. But until 30k turns into support it is hard to talk about further growth.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: August 16, 2023, 09:34:47 AM
well, altcoin is not just one coin, but there are so many alternative coins that exist. however, I also have the opinion that most of the altcoins are very risky, and the worst risk is a scam. However, the thing that keeps people investing in altcoins is that they still provide huge returns, especially for altcoins that are really developing. Even though memecoin is basically a coin that has almost no value, there are still quite a lot of people investing in it. it's because of profit matters.
All altcoins are a big risk. Even bitcoin is a risky investment. If you buy it at the wrong time, for example before a bear market starts, you will have to wait for years to get your investment back. And it is not certain that you will be able to do it. You will also spend a lot of nerves knowing that your deposit is negative. But if you guessed the right time to buy, it can bring you a good profit.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 16, 2023, 08:58:48 AM
Marseille had a shocking result in the Champions League qualifiers. They conceded a last minute goal first which extended the game more and Panathinaikos eliminated them by penalty shoot-outs. This is one of the worst starts Marcelino could have with the team. Normally this isn't a very challenging matchup for Marseille.

The board will be really disappointed with this result so Marcelino have a big responsibility in the Ligue 1 from now on. The main target must be to qualify for the Champions League group stage directly this time. This means to finish in top 3. Normally there were 2 teams going there directly but the league has gained one more quota.
Last season, Marseille were third in the standings. Maybe they can do well this season, because they don't have any other cups besides Ligue 1.  Now they only need to focus on that. Especially PSG have problems now, which give chances for other clubs to join the fight for the top spots.
577  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: August 15, 2023, 04:22:40 PM
Firstly it’s important to never & I mean never, ever sell all your bitcoin. You don’t want to get left holding a bag of stinking fiat. Bitcoin is still very volatile but that can be used to your advantage. Sell some when everybody is getting FOMO & bitcoin is on mainstream news, everybody is excited. Then buy when people are depressed & the consensus is really negative

Exactly, selling all your bitcoin during the bull run is not advisable because you might not be able to get that exact amount of bitcoin that you have initially before selling. This is one of the reason that makes it not a wise decision.

Another thing is that it is useless to hold Fiat than bitcoin. Though, one might plan to sell all his investment and buy back at the dip but we wouldn't know the unforseen circumstances that will occur after selling all our bitcoin that will make it impossible for you to buy back as planned and you will start all over from the scratch and it will cause one to regret about his actions.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: August 15, 2023, 02:02:39 PM
(....)
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?
Memecoins will continue especially bull run is near, look at the hype will come again just like what most memecoins did in the past, but be aware that you should exit early as possible.
Memecoins are risky, and new altcoins too. Meme coins are much more risky especially since they don't have any real use case.
So if ever you will find an altcoin, find altcoin that there is already a product and they are already solving real problems.
If we consider meme coins globally, it is just a type of altcoin. Altcoins are risky investments anyway, so meme coins also have a high risk. But I would not say that only meme coins have no practical usage. In fact almost all altcoins don't have that. Most coins are created just for profit. There are thousands of different coins now and only a few have value. Even ripple in my opinion has no use.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 15, 2023, 12:37:35 PM
Marseille vs Panathinaikos

I have to says this is hard match for Marseille because they have to win at least with 2 goals margin or more and we all know Marseille had a problem with their consistency so although they had just win against Reims on Ligue 1 but it won't guarantee they will be able to playing well today and Panathinaikos had a strong defense that in the last 10 matches in all competitions they were never conceded more than 2 goals so i assume in this match Panathinaikos will displayed negative football because they want to secured one place on group stage

According to the odds i can see Marseille is the favourite with odds @1.53 and Panathinaikos as underdog status with odds @6 but i don't think pick Marseille as my bets will be good option because their consistency makes me doubt that they can able to beat Panathinaikos but just like i said above that my prediction is Panathinaikos will aiming draw result in this match so i have two options and it was draw or under 2.5 goals

Marseille had a good start in the Ligue 1 but I can't say the same thing for the Champions League qualifiers. They had serious issues in the first leg and that red card made things even more difficult. At least they didn't lose by a bigger goal difference to Panathinaikos. Otherwise there would even be a tougher job to do in the second leg. Panathinaikos must be thinking of adopting a fully defensive game. They would just look for counter-attack opportunities that's all.

While they play for maintaining the score advantage on aggregate Marseille had better be more effective in the attacking area. If they don't get ahead early I hope they don't get eliminated shockingly. Marcelino has a big responsibility now.
Yes, Marseille are in a difficult situation and probably nobody expected them to lose in the first game. Today they need only a win, preferably with a few goals. Probably for Panathinaikos the best solution will be to play defensive football and look for opportunities for counterattacks. But still I think that Marseille will win at home.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time has finally come...??? on: August 15, 2023, 09:22:41 AM
I think Bitcoin will perform very well in the next bull run.  Since the market has been in a bear market for many years, reaching a bull market will definitely double the value of Bitcoin.  But there is no way to say exactly how much Bitcoin will actually increase in price. I have already seen Bitcoin price move slightly from 16k to 30k$ last year, so we can expect Bitcoin to perform well.  The next bull market will definitely be when the price of Bitcoin rises above $50k.We won't have to wait much longer for a bull market.

BTC was 69k in Nov 2021 top price

BTC was 16 k in Jan 2023 close to the low

It is now 29 k in Aug 2023
So now we can say that the bitcoin price is about midway between the past top and the past bottom. If we take into account that the price can't break the resistance around 32k for a long time and consolidate above, it is very difficult to guess what will happen in the near future. The key factor of course is the next halving, so it's probably better to buy bitcoin in parts and hold for a year or two.
