1  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] [banned mixer] Signature Campaign | Up to $150/W on: February 27, 2024, 04:27:55 AM

I'm hoping this is a Rabbid from Rayman

On a side note I won't be very active for a couple weeks.
I don't have the luxury of getting an income tax return so I'll have to earn other people's.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Vacancy developer on: February 22, 2024, 03:11:06 PM
Personally, I wouldn't do equity-based pay on altcoin projects.
I did do equity-based compensation on LN stuff back in the day, But I knew it was gold from the get.
I even voluntarily ran a campaign pitch with major players at the time to pitch in on a LN based services campaign, but LN did pretty well and didn't need it.

with that being said, at the top layer this project seems to be taken very seriously by the powers that be.

https://cozy-world-metaverse.gitbook.io/cozyworld/inrtoduction/welcome-to-the-cozy-world-metaverse

Maybe a metaverse/web3 fanatic will take keenly to the project. Or perhaps good pay on the project will create a metaverse fanatic.

What are the requirements (programming languages, etc)?

Fullstack usually consist of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP and other languages.
This appears to be a metaverse project so you'll likely have your hands full and learn some new languages on the fly.
3  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Experienced Gambling Industry Advisors/Players for Campaigns on: February 22, 2024, 01:41:55 PM
It's been a while since I've managed a campaign. But I do have experience managing them!
I'm active on Discord  (can possibly be on other platforms as well),
I've participated in the bitcoin gambling industry for almost 10 years. It is in fact what brought me to bitcointalk.org to collect a bounty on a big win.
I'm hoping Hhampuz, Royse777 or icopress would vouch for me on this endeavor.

I Have a no-nonsense approach when dealing with both sides of a casino, I'm very verbatim.
I fully endorse honest casino's, generally speaking the more tenure, the more likely you're dealing with a good actor.
If a customer is abusing the platform, I can usually identify that.
I'm in the works on a new project with a key player mentioned here that would be a wonderful entry into external marketing/partnership, aside from the standard signature campaign.

Please note:
I have no interest in live support or support ticket systems.
But I can help address and solve issues here on the forums as they come.

5  Other / Meta / Re: A copy button for [code] blocks (SMF patch) on: February 20, 2024, 03:22:37 AM
Thanks again for your contributions to the forums and SMF.

Personally, im weary digging in too much wondering if epochtalk's coming.
maybe @Wangbus could enlighten us with an update?
The GitHub appears to be inactive for 3-4 years.as well as the site.
beta.bitcointalk doesn't work at all now.  Perhaps I'm missing an announcement about it or something?

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the bitcoin Developers aside from satoshi on: February 19, 2024, 01:56:57 AM
Well here's a pretty important name that seems to have gotten overlooked here at least.

Hal Finney

He laid some of the groundwork down without a doubt!

He was even the first person to receive Bitcoin.

In fact a lot of people wonder(myself included) if he's Satoshi!

Thank you Hal.

*Hals not even honorably mentioned it seems , but he invented PoW, PGP was likely Hal as well he and Phil got investigated by the FBI for it in 1991. Hal was working for Phil.

Harold's just way to involved as a whole to not be mentioned and that bothers me.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 18, 2024, 04:20:32 AM
Can you post your Bitcoin address?

I can also say I bought Bitcoin when the price was $1 and hold it until now, I bought Bitcoin when the price was $3K during Covid-19 and sold at $69K etc.

Since you're a very highly smartest person who's know when to own Bitcoin, when and how much the bottom in this year?

Look, I get that why2why may be full of it but don't you think your being a little hostile in this scenario? Play the long game at least but don't go jumping out the gate asking for a wallet especially to a newbie. Show em how smart you really are.

8  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: A Bet on COPA - versus - Craig Wright $1.1 million dollars ! on: February 18, 2024, 04:07:11 AM
a. You must clearly state that Craig will not win the case because he is a brazen liar and fraud

If your telling the truth CW could win. Only if your telling the truth.

Sign it.   I bet Craig would if he could!

9  Economy / Services / Re: I'll Do Odd Jobs for You on: February 17, 2024, 09:11:36 PM
I stand corrected, what programming languages do you know?

How good are you with HTML5 ? Any working examples?
If not can you draft some stuff up?
10  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 17, 2024, 06:58:08 PM
Speaking of examples, imagine a football club that has signed a sponsorship contract with Adidas, and then one player goes out on the field wearing Nike football boots.
A much better example would be a football club sponsored by Coca-Cola, and the football player puts their bottle away during an interview Cheesy
But since there is no bad publicity, this got them much more attention and thus brand exposure than they would have gotten any other way.
They say there's no such thing as bad press.
-
I get why people post for coin but financial incentives can really degrade post quality from most (but not all) users here.

I think some definitions to a "quality" poster should have a good merit to post ratio while participating in these campaigns, character count and post count shouldn't be the defining metric of your payouts. But since it is, majority would/should be considered "shilling campaigns"

At the same time , a lot of post are skipped on merit.
I treat merit as a Like, acknowledgement, or a genuine article with merit post.
Enforcing merit on campaigns could lead to more merit cycling so there is definitely pros and cons to a merit approach.

I saw some quality posters apply for campaigns this last week that seem to have been skipped in favor of lesser known individuals, I think campaign managers could hire enforcers, like a %100 bonus to an enforcer that identifies shit posters in each campaign , especially campaign managers running 2-3+ campaigns.

This would lighten the load of the manager and potentially save the manager/campaign money and increase post quality.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Shitcoin 3.0 - First Parody Token on the First Parody Blockchain! on: February 17, 2024, 06:24:03 PM
I'm not gonna lie, prompting this was cringe, one more prompt telling it to "center the butthole"  was just doing to much.
Just in case AGI happens , I apologized for this "atrocious prompt"

I got a lot of funny ones out of it, but most depicted BTC itself. Defamation by defecation on Bitcoin was a no go for me.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Shitcoin 3.0 - First Parody Token on the First Parody Blockchain! on: February 16, 2024, 03:35:39 PM
Here's some Ai generated shitcoins being mined on the newest asic.
I tried to capture the essence of the project. I hope its shitty enough.

14  Economy / Services / Re: I'll Do Odd Jobs for You on: February 14, 2024, 02:04:43 AM
more odd job?

I think that you could learn or improve (if you already know) prompting, I mean, asking the correct things to AI so you get the desired output. You could sell that skill, or directly the output. I can't be more concise, because that's not something I know a lot about myself, but it seems that there will be great opportunities for those who master this new ability.

Prompt engineering isn't really a skill when your using a LLM that utilizes neural networking.
It's primary objective is to interpret you, predict what you going to say.

Primed constraints are where the money's at.
Making Ai do things it shouldn't be able to.

I have two questions: First, after all this time you have been offering to do jobs (and odd jobs), did you ever manage to get even one job done for a member of the forum? Second, is there any trustworthy member that can vouch for you by stating they employed you to do a job and you carried out the job requirements to their specifications?

Any job you need done?
Perhaps you could see if he would give you a vouch for your projects need? It is wild OP is maintaining this post almost 5 years with no feedback?

Any odd jobs here?

May I ask what languages you are fluent in?

Answering questions like this would be very helpful to your endeavors OP.

Ignoring it introduces doubt to your capabilities and character.
15  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Simple HTML websites for $20 on: February 14, 2024, 01:52:08 AM
I'm currently working one a project (not so simple HTML)
However I'm still looking for clients .
16  Economy / Services / Re: Are you an Expert Bitcoin Developer ? I need your help ! on: February 11, 2024, 03:11:48 AM
If you have that many clients and working around the clock like you said, why did you bump this thread? A day only has 24 hours, so you can't possibly work any more Wink.
Joking aside, saying I am the best and nobody else is better than me makes you sound unprofessional. It creates the opposite effect of what you want to achieve.
Keeping your past work a secret is also not something that is normal. Those with something to show, like to show it to entice more clients.
This is true i am real professional because i have many clients and have big reputation. Other Developers know me very well! I have team and team can do more projects also i can do.
Never heard of you.
(Doesn't mean others haven't though)
But a quick peek at your trust ratings indicates you have a pretty shady reputation.
I'd caution anyone doing business with you to use escrow.
I'd also caution anyone trying to do business with OP to use escrow as well.

17  Economy / Services / Re: Are you an Expert Bitcoin Developer ? I need your help ! on: February 10, 2024, 04:52:01 PM
I PM'd you. Hopefully we can do some business.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Cash App reversal bitcoin transaction stuck HELP PLEASE on: February 10, 2024, 03:51:49 PM
I know this is cleared and stuff but for future reference cashapp will basically always meet that deadline they provide.
Almost always sooner. I've examined them live before, even the free route the TX will generally attach to a higher paying fee to clear out the que

Let's talk about how cashapp finally switched to segwit and didn't relay the savings to its customers!

They operated for years using legacy.

All these tech dudes like dorsey just want to maximize.

If you report bugs they go silent , patch it and ignore you. (End rant)
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Which one is the best offline Paper wallet ? on: February 10, 2024, 03:44:30 PM
For a vanity wallet (custom wallet) there are no straightforward services at the moment.

If you just want a cold wallet I'd second pointbiz's bitaddress.org

I've personally picked apart most of the source code and the projects solid.

Watch out for typos in this field. Don't end up on a 3rd party site. Use the site as an offline page and preferably on a  computer that will never see internet.
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: VanitySearch (Yet another address prefix finder) on: February 08, 2024, 08:59:24 PM

Interesting.

For the server, doesn’t seem like it needs much juice, it basically lets the workers know when it’s time to work and what to work on, and then sends email, if correct work was found.

So you leased the server? Does it need to be paired with a GPU?

For the workers, it sounds like MRR, where your GPUs can work on whatever, until it’s rented. I like that.

How did you do worker payments, or were you go that point yet, where workers were paid for hashing or only paid for finding the requested address?

I’m interested…no doubt.

Are you willing to stay on, or are you wanting to be done with it completely?

Naw, it doesn't need what I had it on. It was just cool looking and low wattage.
I own the physical unit.
It didn't need the GPU but you could run the worker on the server in case no workers where active.
We didn't have a worker payment system set up yet. It was a closed ecosphere .some things like workers retained too much information for an endpoint user in our opinion( partials and browser cookies) it psychically checked keys on bitaddress
These things where going to get worked on.
I'll consult , I scrumed/commissioned it. I learned what c# I know on this project.
Workers are .py
Ideally you should be proficient fullstack dev to take this project on.
