You should always research a website before sending money to it, don't go around the web sending money to strangers with the expectation of high rewards, they're all ponzi scheme.

Altcoins may drop even more as bitcoin price rises, it is really hard to predict when they will follow bitcoin's price or even if they will.
Ethereum is in a descending path, I wouldn't buy it now, litecoin is still dropping, I wouldn't buy doge or reddcoin.
Take a look at SJCX, SC and MAID, study historical charts, read all about the projects, and if/when you feel comfortable take a position.
Good luck.

Doing business is the incentive to run bitcoin nodes, if there are not enough businesses to keep the network running then bitcoin is a failed experiment and should die.
You can run full nodes and charge people for using them, there's your incentive.

You will see the real driving force at the end of this story.
End of the story states that... Pyramid Schemes
So where is money comes from? A latest topic on 8btc may tell the truth:
The thread claims that the MMM are the key forces for driving the price up
So, do u mean, Bitcoin has reached 900 USD because of MMM? Latest surge in litecoin price where litecoin went up to $8 was because of some pyramid scheme in China, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar is helping bitcoin price right now.

What was the criteria for choosing those particular projects when there seems to be ICOs everyday?
How much are people losing in these kind of projects?
Last Synereo/AMP ICO was around 33k satoshi and now AMP is around 5k satoshi, that was a fucking ripoff, what about other projects?

Currently watching first season of "The Man in the High Castle" and it looks pretty good, it's an alternate history/sci-fi show where the Nazi and Japanese won WWII. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1740299/

Strange selection of choices, Mike Hearn left bitcoin development and scene in January, Gavin Andresen isn't much active since bitcoin development was hijacked and bitcoin's principles changed, Don't know why Craig Wright's name is there, is he even relevant?
There's only Roger Ver left, well that's the guy who stood by MtGox when the whole thing was collapsing, I guess people still listen to him, I don't see why.
Bitcoin's drama in 2016 is mainly because of the consolidation of power around bitcoin's development and the choices those people made for bitcoin, you should revise your list to include the people in charge.

This ^ You should always search a website before sending money to it, plenty of complains already.

Litecoin is a great choice, also take a look at SJCX, it's a great project with lots of potential, also buy some MAID while it's cheap.
Keep an eye on BURST, Synereo:AMP, SC and OMNI.
Good luck.

Westworld really picks up towards the tail end of the season. Looking forward to season two
It was a very satisfying season finale, really good, it's one of the best shows in tv right now.

Fork it already, activate Segregated Witness, whatever, but just scale it!
It has become a huge pain in the ass everything bitcoin related, one has to check a few sites before doing a transaction or you might end up with it stuck long time.

The Expanse is a nice sci fi story exclusive to netflix. Kinda unknown. Worth the check
The Expanse is on SyFy...

Those 0.0089 BTC are made out of a lot of really small transactions, fee is based on how many bytes a transaction has, more inputs the bigger the transaction is.
You need to import that address to a wallet where you have full control of inputs and fees, then you choose a bunch of inputs (less than 200) and exclude 1 shatoshi inputs, wait for a time when the network is not congested and you can try to consolidate all your inputs paying a small fee.
Good luck.

the implications would be huge, putting aside the fact that someone would need to convince a board of directors/shareholders that wasting a shit load of money would make any sense, bitcoin does not belong to a country, so if someone or institution decided to do that it would affect people and businesses all over the world, that would probably be illegal and against all the treaties out there.
Cyber warfare is conducted with extreme secrecy, and institution trying to make an attack like the one you describe could not make it in secret, plus the attack could always be mitigated.

Remember two more series that were mentioned with this one is House of Cards 2 season 2 episode was where it was mentioned about bitcoin and deep web, other is i can say for sure was it original NCIS or NCIS LA where there were also mentioned bitcoin and deep web as well here.
Edit for my previous mentioned for Almost Human it was episode 6 i have then all i just look to see which episode was. And i also think that is was mentioned in Simpsons and South Park but will check this to be sure can say it cuz i cant remember
It was also mentioned in Family Guy. In Silicon Valley Gilfoyle had a mining operation going on in the garage.

You can add here and from Almost Human i just can remember the episode number but it was some hostage ransom or something when they mentioned bitcoin payment as untraceable. Shame was that show was canceled after only 13 episodes and additional 13 never got air
Bitcoin was mentioned quite a few times in Almost Human, it was a recurrent thing in that universe and it was once used to buy a bionic heart, also in that future, bitcoin is 'totally untraceable' and people use cool hardware wallets. Bitcoin was also mentioned a few times in Person of Interest, they made a whole episode of the Ross Ulbricht/Silkroad saga. CSI Cyber also did bitcoin, but they did everything wrong in that show.

This is my favorite computer moment on a TV show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8qgehH3kEQIt is very common to see misrepresentations of how stuff works on television, we can criticize shows that try to have a realistic approach and then fail to do so, but many of them are just fiction and you can do whatever you want if you're just making stuff up.
