821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Civic ICO...how to purchase on: June 22, 2017, 08:49:02 AM
Got me some Civic.  Cheesy

I never do ICOs, but had to get some of this.
822  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] CasinoBitco.in CBTC on: June 22, 2017, 07:54:28 AM
Pedrog, you make great points, hand-up, we weren't thinking of it from that point of view, thanks for being so blunt.

Outside of the manual approach to move unitholders over to the more liquid platform, there is no issue with moving everyone over; and we will provide that opportunity for all (I will be editing my post above, and send another note out in Havelock after I'm done fighting their slow platform).

Thanks again for being so candid.

Well, that went better than expected...

823  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] CasinoBitco.in CBTC on: June 21, 2017, 08:47:35 PM
Good question, they will have a chance to buy (for fractions of cents)  or sell on the open market on Havelock in the next 8 days; the unclaimed shares (which equate to <1% of all total outstanding shares) will be dispersed evenly to the remaining unit holders that have > 5000 units.

What will happen to people who have less than 5000 shares?

So you sold shares between 12000 and 18000 satoshi each, you paid 396 satoshi per share in dividends and now you're going to do another fund raiser without even paying at least 25% you took initially, and you want to fuck 506 shareholders because they don't own enough shares, that's a lot of scam accusations and negative feedback...

And with this record you want people to just give you money again for free?

826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: June 21, 2017, 02:20:41 PM
When is the estimated time frame for Storj token to be tradeable on exchanges? I have received my storj token on my wallet. Thanks for the great work!

Oficially? I haven't seen any estimation.
Usually the bittrex is faster in my experience but I seen poloniex launch pretty fast (in the Gnosis case) an freshly announced coin.

They also need to exchange SJCX for STORJ tokens, so this may take more time than usual.
827  Local / Portugal / Re: Mineiros em Portugal on: June 21, 2017, 01:12:15 PM

828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ViaBTC's UAHF ICO Proposal on: June 21, 2017, 09:52:22 AM
That's the most ridiculous thing I've read in a long time, seems one of those badly thought cons where scammers just ask for your money without a strong case why you should give them your money.

Will they make the ICO for their bitcoin fork on the Ethereum network? Cheesy Cheesy

Civic by Vinny Lingham also aims to provide secure ID using blockchain technology.

BTW, they're doing a token sale today.
830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockfolio - How to substract Bitcoin correctly when you buy altcoin with BTC? on: June 20, 2017, 01:53:11 PM
Thanks for the answer, what if you have bought BTC with different prices? I bought on different dates, you will never have a precise number. Or should you check the date of purchase of the altcoin and subtract the BTC amount from the last time you bought it?

Is there no button to say, bought X amount of BTC to buy Factom for example.

Oh, I see, you also track bitcoin/fiat trades, it's easier if only bitcoin/alt, but you can do it like this:

You have 1 BTC in Poloniex you bought at $1000, you buy 0.2 BTC of Factom at Poloniex, you go and edit your bitcoin holding of 1 bitcoin @ $1000 @ Poloniex.

You just need to be more thorough with your trading record.
831  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockfolio - How to substract Bitcoin correctly when you buy altcoin with BTC? on: June 20, 2017, 01:35:51 PM
Hi, I use http://blockfolio.com/ to track my investments. I have Bitcoins as an investment and already inserted this info in the app. If I buy an altcoin it's mainly with Bitcoin, so how do you mark this on the app to still have the correct amount?

For example: you have 1BTC and you buy FCT for the amount of 0,2BTC. Therefore you have 0,8BTC and some FCT. So you insert the FCT equivalent in the app, ok, but I can't find the way to substract this amount of Bitcoin. How do you do this correctly?

I see the sell option but your not selling Bitcoin to EUR or USD. You are exchanging that amount for another value. How can you represent this in the app? Any help  Huh

Just edit your bitcoin holdings and change 1 to 0.8...
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The stupidity of crowds on: June 20, 2017, 01:33:04 PM
Same thing happened in 2013/2014 with Bitfunder, BTCT, Havelock and there may be others I don't remember, people put a lot of money into a lot of projects listed there and they all failed or scam, now there's a lot of more money around and people 'invest' that money, it's just a matter of scale.

TheDAO should have been a warning to these new folks who did not yet lost money in the 'crowdfunding' scene.

835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 19, 2017, 02:04:40 PM
Been holding litecoin for so long, this is such a great payout, already sold some coins, but still holding my bag, let's see how high it goes.

Been advising people to buy a bag of litecoin for years, if someone took my advice should be quite happy right now. Cheesy
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2x bitcoins in 2 weeks - good investment idea on: June 19, 2017, 01:53:29 PM
2x bitcoins in 2 weeks - good investment idea.

I gonna short ETH with BTC on https://poloniex.com/marginTrading#btc_eth
ETH gonna crash in next 2 weeks or get deep correction, BTC make stabile grow after attacks.
What you think?

Don't lose your shirt, gamble only what you can afford to lose.

Predicting future events is very difficult, specially in crypto, 'common rules' may not apply. Cheesy

839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Attention Token [BAT], scam or not? on: June 01, 2017, 02:42:25 PM
Basic Attention Token [BAT], scam or not? I read the other article early this morning and it gave me the wrong impression about this altcoin, since I was thinking of investing in it. Anyone who has invested in it, please just share your experience on investing in BAT

You couldn't invest even if you really wanted to, it sold out in 30 seconds or something like that.

BAT is to be used with Brave Browser, the CEO of Brave software also invented JavaScript and co-founded Mozilla.

I'm not saying BAT is a good investment or their business plan is solid, but at least they're as legit as they come.
