1162  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: i got scamed on: February 21, 2017, 05:35:58 PM
You post a topic in the Scam Accusations board to alert everybody so people don't fall for that particular scam again, then you lay on the floor in fetal position and feel sorry for yourself.

1164  Economy / Services / Re: Help me verify my adsense and earn 15$ btc on: February 21, 2017, 09:07:10 AM
If you don't have a decent website with some serious organic traffic why do you want an Adsense account?

First improve your website, make sure you comply with all Adsense guidelines, follow best SEO practices and then you'll be ready to monetize your website.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fee is larger than transaction now. Bitcoin is broken? on: February 20, 2017, 06:04:42 PM
You can try your luck and make a transaction with low fee, but looking at the network right now it will be dropped, just wait until sometime when the network isn't congested.

This morning was ideal for such transaction, there were very few transactions waiting.

I tried this morning. Last Friday the fee for sending out 0.05 was over 1BTC, this morning it was like 0.1, still twice the amount to send!
Even it were ten times lower (which seems it is not going to happen ever again) a puny 0.01 it'd be a 20% which still is ridiculous.

Maybe you need to drop some inputs, does Armory has coincontrol?

If so you can select which inputs to include in a transaction, drop less than 3000 satoshi inputs, this may help.

1167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone noticed? BTCJam has 0 Loan Request for More than a Month on: February 20, 2017, 11:36:40 AM
BTCJam is doomed anyway.
All of the lending service are about to die or already lost their charm. As an investor nobody likes to invest in some risky loan request. Even if they ask for id verification in many cases borrower will use fake id to verify their account so when they run away with the loan money there is no way to get it back.

And if the defaulter gives his real identity, what happens? Nothing!
1168  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Project - Just 1 Sponsor - Ecommerce CMS on: February 16, 2017, 05:52:42 PM
Woocommerce/Wordpress is very well supported and it now powers more than 30% of online shops, it is extremely easy to find and install any plugin to add new features to your website.

There are other very strong players in this field, like PrestaShop, Magento, OpenCart or even Shopify.

Well, good luck with your entrepreneurship.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction price dramatically increasing on: February 15, 2017, 06:24:41 PM
Stop whining and use some other high volume coin, cheap transactions, next block confirmation, problem solved!

People complaining about fees is getting really tiresome, you don't have to use bitcoin, if it's too expensive for you just use some other coin...
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In Europe, bank transfers are free and unlimited for all on: February 13, 2017, 06:19:47 PM
Just a reminder.

From my European bank account, I can make a SEPA transfer to any other European bank account for free. No fee. Nothing to pay. It normally takes one and a half business day so BTC is faster, way faster, but that's not always the case because of the congestion. That used to be exceptional but it's getting the norm. The only way out is a higher fee, which makes BTC less appealing.

Sure, BTC remains the best option for extra-European transfers, and BTC still has the advantage of privacy by being difficult to link to one individual, but all miners and developers shall never forget there's competition out there. Banks, Paypal, Skrill... If BTC wants to be the best, it really needs to be the best.

I have to pay 50 cents when transferring to another bank, you have free transfer to any bank in SEPA zone?

Which country is your bank?

1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When SegWit And Lightning Network Will Be Implemented? on: February 10, 2017, 01:55:50 PM
Contentious soft forks should not be implemented, besides that, miners have no real incentive to implement such feature.

Segwit would increase the value of Bitcoin, so unless they have no BTC assets or never intend to hold them, miners cannot benefit. But of course, acquiring and selling BTC literally is their business, so they have an overwhelmingly large incentive. When you actually think about it.

Considering LN will mean the miners LOSE onchain transactions fees to LN's offchain transactions ,

we must have different definitions for the word incentive.  Tongue

 Cool

Precisely my point, network fees exist so the network can sustain itself with decrease and eventually the end of the subsidy, Lightning Networks will take away those fees from miners, unless miners also enter in the LN game they will be losing money to it.

1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the rich, not the poor on: February 09, 2017, 01:54:01 PM
There are a lot of alternatives to bitcoin, some are quite stable and more suited for small and fast payments, you don't have to depend on bitcoin.
So you are suggesting that we should switch because now fees are 10 cents too high? It is not the way of fixing things.
Bitcoin miners should realize soon that current situation is not exactly favorable for bitcoin's community.
Which in the end will cause miners to lose money too, less overall transaction equals less bounty from fees.

You don't have to switch anything, you can do whatever you want.

As you can see with the bitcoin price right now, fees aren't really a problem, miners are happy and everyone is happy with increased value, some use cases are price out because increased fees, in these cases people don't need to be stuck with bitcoin and go out of business or lose a lot of money to transfer small amounts of money, there are plenty of other alternatives out there.

1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Roger gonna tell us he made a simple transaction that cost a fortune again. on: February 06, 2017, 06:26:06 PM
Ouch, that was pretty expensive, although it didn't seem necessary spend so much money on the fee, some people can afford to be this generous...
