7001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Multi Signature Wallet on: March 20, 2019, 02:40:19 AM
I want to ask if there are any possibilities that anyone can track connected wallet addresses in one Multi Signature Wallet?
Because in Coinomi wallet, there is an option that you can create multiple bitcoin addresses.

For example, I have my Wallet A bitcoin address created for savings for my new car, and the Wallet B bitcoin address is for savings for my new house.
Are there any ways that anyone will know that Wallet A and Wallet B are connected together with just one owner?

7004  Other / Beginners & Help / [GUIDE] Use this for identifying Scam/Phishing Websites & Exchanges in Crypto on: March 20, 2019, 12:59:56 AM
Common victims of scam or phishing website over the internet are the beginners in crypto. There's a lot of bad people nowadays are taking advantages to our newbies.
There's a lot of people that first impressions on crypto are scam/fraud or full of scammers, they are wrong, it's on how they use crypto or how they treat it. Even how powerful technology nowadays, we still need to think twice, we need to ask questions if there are any suspected things you saw on the internet.
To avoid these kinds of scam or phishing, we need to learn and explore things. We should know basic securities of surfing into the internet.

Look at this chart by Google, every year, Phishing sites are increasing. (This data is for general Phishing sites, not only for crypto)

A very simple tips on how to protect yourself and your funds:
1. Bookmark your crypto sites.
Use those bookmarks and only those. Don't type in the addresses by hand.
2. Do not trust random URLs.
Do not trust communications, addresses, or URLs sent via private message. Always verify information with a secondary source.
Don’t click any link related to anything crypto, money, banking, or services like Dropbox / Google Drive / Gmail in any email ever.
And if the scammy clickbait was simply too irresistible for you, don’t enter any information on the page.
Never enter your private keys, passwords, or sensitive data on a website that you were sent via message.
3. Turn on 2FA for everything.
Go do it. Right now. Quit your excuses. Choose Google Authenticator over Authy. Don't use your phone number. Then, make sure your phone number is NOT tied to your Google account (look in privacy settings). Turns out, you and your BFF Mr. Hacker can "recover" access to your account via that number, completely destroying the point of 2FA.
PS: MyCrypto is client-side, meaning 2FA won't do anything in our case. 2FA is for ensuring the security of your password on a server.
PSS: Don't forget to cold store your backup words for these 2FA things. It's a huge pain when your phone goes for a swim and your entire life is 2FA'd.
4. Always verify that the site you landed on is legit.
Especially if you are about to enter your private key or download an application. What is legit? A service that people have used for a decent period of time with good results. If the URL has been registered in the last week or the site "just launched," err on the side of caution and avoid it for a while.
5. Lastly: Use your brain.
Think for a moment. Don't assume—ask. Don't blindly follow—question. If something doesn't seem right, if you feel like the luckiest person on Earth, or if you find yourself pondering, "I wonder why I haven't seen this on Reddit yet," there is likely a reason.

These are the list of browser extension/websites that you can use to prevent these kind of danger browsing the internet:

1. Metamask- Browser Extension

1. Block you from malicious domains : They have a record of blacklisted domains and if you visited one, you'll see this:

2. History Checker : You can check your browser history anytime (last 500 only), this helps in checking if you've visited a site before that has been recently blacklisted. Just go click "More Settings" in your EAL Extension and you'll see all the details there / perform the action.

3. Twitter Trust Badges : They are providing 3 types of badges in twitter. I'm seeing this, but I chose to provide the info and images they have provided [source here >Twitter Badges]

     a. Verified/Whitelisted : This means CryptoInfluencers or EtherScamDB have whitelisted your Twitter ID.

     b. Blacklisted : This means the account is an imposter or tweeting in way to scam or phish users of their funds.

If you want to report a domain via EAL - you'll be redirected to etherscamdb too.

7006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Trade cryptocurrencies comfortably with profit on: March 19, 2019, 10:36:15 AM
One of the most way to trade comfortable in cryptocurrency is self confidence and full of skill and knowledge hard works in the crypto trading with know how to control emotions during in trading works to get huge profits.
Your biggest enemy in trading is your emotion, you should control your emotion in trading. Don't be greedy, stay on your targets or plan. Trading is just building a house, you have your blueprint first, so in trading, you have your chart setup with some indicators or your trendline or whatever techniques you will use to make a blueprint for your trade.
Lastly, you need also risk management, only trade what you afford to lose. Trading is also gambling but you can minimize your losses if you have your risk management.
7007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up on: March 19, 2019, 07:06:29 AM
Some businesses in the Las Vegas area have Bitcoin ATM (automated teller machine) for their customers to use:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrL4Zgr6vfw&t=
Adoption is increasing. As we can see on different countries, bitcoin ATM also popping, not only in Las Vegas. Bitcoin ATM is one of the biggest tools to increase the users of bitcoin, as time goes by, bitcoin transactions are increasing. This is a good sign for adoption on Bitcoin. But there is recent news about Bitcoin double spenders scam. https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2019/03/14/double-spenders-scam-150000-bitcoin/
7008  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: March 19, 2019, 06:53:24 AM
Update: My account limit now back to normal.

Grabe tagal ng inabot. Nagpost pa ako dito nun. After the phone interview, they say I must wait for 10 days. Sobra sobrang araw na ang inabot pero di ako nakapag message agad sa kanila since naging busy rin ako. Then nung 1 araw nag follow-up ako.

Yearly na ata to. Ayoko ng ganito sa totoo lang. No choice aman coins.ph pa rin kasi talaga no. 1 crypto exchange dito sa Pinas.
#WhaleProblems.
7009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of bitcoin with respect to Blockchain on: March 19, 2019, 05:13:48 AM
I don't agree to what you said that bitcoin is lacking behind, adoption is increasing as time goes by. Different companies starting to use blockchain and there are some companies starting to accept bitcoins for the payment of their goods or services. As also you can see on this chart, the transactions per day are also increasing.

7010  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 19, 2019, 04:18:59 AM
You are saying that we are going down below the blue ($3,760-ish) and to the purple ($3,590-ish)?  Seems like a kind of guess, but in case you want to explain more, when is this going to happen?  Soontm?
Yes. The purple one is my strong support zone. The 4hour volume spike recently makes me think we have an attempt to make a higher high before dump, also counts show one more leg up.

So an UP could take BTC into a $4,200 to $4,600 arena, and then a dump to the $3,590 support?  Something like that?

And play out over a few weeks, perhaps?  Or are you thinking something else?

In your earlier post, why did you mention the DOWN without the UP, or were there only recent changes in the price dynamics?  In other words, does your interpretation of price direction change a lot, and when you call a direction, how much weight are you giving to your call?  greater than 50% or 90% or some other kind of methodology of assigning probabilities to lines and waves?
Support zone area for me is the purple one. I did not tell to go down without up, it's possible since my support is around 3590.

7013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: March 19, 2019, 02:37:13 AM
Depending on how you trade it is still gambling.

You are like betting the price will move on the direction you bet.

Exactly. Trading is still gambling, you are risking your money in trading, but for me, trading is much safer than gambling because you can apply risk management in trading, and you can consider fundamental analysis and technical analysis in trading, while in gambling, pure luck for me, in some gambling  game.

Price contracting in a  rising wedge, 2 major supports below... blue has been sucked dried imo from previous retests... purple support looks strong and fresh.
7015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever be manipulated like Wall Street is? on: March 19, 2019, 02:26:31 AM
Yes, it's easy to manipulate especially now that there are many centralized exchanges. I hate centralized exchange because you are not the one holding your funds or private keys for every coin you have in your centralized exchange account. The decentralized exchange is the solution for every manipulation happening in crypto.

7017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: March 16, 2019, 01:11:51 PM

3.) in every loss, lower your bet so you can have more chances of winning again. If you bet all your money on one single bet and lose, then you know whats next. Go home lonely.

Before I use this kind of strategy, but it's opposite, for every loss, I double my bet. But when I tried this kind of strategy on some of my gambles, it works on just starting, but if you will continue this kind of strategy, you will lose on the end. I realized that it is much better than you will have more chances of winning even in small bets than winning in one time big time but you will not stay long to play, still risky. Risk management is really onto it.
7018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: March 16, 2019, 01:06:44 PM
You guys should focus on other intriguing fight matches because this reamtch is a looong way from happneing.
Mayweather already talking about doing another exhibition bout  Roll Eyes

What can you expect from him, he will choose to make easy money and still remain undefeated than fight a guy who can possibly tarnish his clean record.
Exactly! Mayweather is really into the money, his last fight on China is super easy. Easy money again, for me, he just want to fight because of money only. His  last fight with Manny Pacman Pacquiao was huge huge money for him and also for Pacman even he lost the fight. There are rumors spreading last December 2018, that they will have their rematch soon, I don't believe if Pacman can win, Pacman is so focus on his job as Senator in our country. But, I will still support Pacman as fellow Pilipino.  Wink

update
changing my alt coins. to eos, xlm, trx, eth, bch, bsv, waves, metaverse etp, skycoin, bnb, zil
You have nice timing, you bought the dip of those alt coins and you have already have profits now if you will sold them. BNB is your very biggest profits now, BNB have now on all time high almost $15 each Binance coin and I believe it will still inrease as they have another ICO on their Biance Lunchpad. You have the right timing buying those alts, I also bought some of them last month and I will holding it for long term.
7020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet to use? on: March 16, 2019, 12:31:53 PM
Which perks and features should one look for in a wallet?

Thanks in advance
Open sourced wallets are the best! Specially when you have your own private keys, avoid wallets that are owned by company or you don't have your private keys. And most dangerous is don't let your cryptocurrencies stored in exchange's wallets because it's too risky, move it to your personal wallet. You can use Myetherwallet or Metamask for ethereum/ERC20 tokens.
