641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starters portofolio on: January 04, 2018, 07:33:41 PM
Hey! as posted in a previous post i am new
I would like present my current portofolio and i would appreciate feedback on it.
Reading topics on this forum and i gladly found coincheckup.com which i think is a really great site. Grin
here it is: Bitbean, Deeponion

I don’t know any of these currencies. It is better on my mind to invest in some well-known reliable currencies. That’s my examples: Ripple, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin, Waves, Monero, Bitcoin Cash. Choose here.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: January 04, 2018, 07:32:37 PM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?

I can not call bitcoin the strongest currency in the world, because its price is too unstable, that it is very risky to keep all of your money in bitcoin.
643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin reach 40k at the end of 2018? on: January 04, 2018, 07:14:57 PM

Bitcoin could be at $40,000 at the end of 2018. It easily could," Michael Novogratz says on CNBC's "Fast Money
Ethereum, which I think just touched $500 or is getting close, could be triple where it is as well," adds Novogratz, formerly a macro hedge fund manager at Fortress Investment Group.

The price of bitcoin is too unpredictable, but against the backdrop of a low commission of altcoins it will be much more difficult to grow in price in 2018. I think $ 40,000 is the maximum mark that he will be able to touch at the end of next year.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA or XRP? on: December 28, 2017, 07:20:39 PM
Which of these do you think has the potential to rise in value the most?

Personally, I feel that while we can have a lot of confidence in the success of Ripple as a business, given its connections with banks, the XRP currency isn't necessary for the success of Ripple, and furthermore its circulating supply is too high to deliver substantial growth. IOTA, on the other hand, I feel has the potential to grow exponentially.

This is really interesting choice. I prefer Ripple. It has traditional blockchain system in its foundation. Furthermore Ripple constantly improving its abilities and connections with other financial institutions.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bch treated as a joke? on: December 28, 2017, 07:12:23 PM
Its not just a random hard fork, the same devs are behind it. It carries the name on a official manner like that.

I don’t know anyone who treat Bitcoin Cash as funny unserious thing. Telling the truth when it was airdropped, at the beginning of its development I had thought about this coins like just about clones. But not now.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: December 28, 2017, 06:59:51 PM
With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.

I am not buying altcoins on everyday way. That’s because I am not trading them. Cryptocurrencies for me are alternative way to hold my savings. I am just diversify my savings to be financially insured.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is verge (XVG) a safe investment? on: December 28, 2017, 06:51:33 PM
Ive seen threads this week with titles like "Sell XVG now"
Does XVG have a bright future or anything that could kill it off?

Verge maybe is not a scammy project but this price have the features of artificial pumping and I don’t advise anybody to invest significant amounts of money in this currency.

I lost also a lot money with this guys because I deposit coins in summer to online walllet from official website that then it just dissapeared!!!
This wallet: http://verge-wallet.xyz
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: December 28, 2017, 06:47:34 PM
The cost of  1080Ti Specific is about 1200EUR. So it is really the price in the middle of all offerings. I have known some my friends who are using this machine for mining. Their profits on the level 48USD per day.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cheapest GPU for monero mining on: December 28, 2017, 06:46:07 PM
I am looking to invest in some cheap GPUs to mine monero and others, what would be a reasoble option?

edit: spelling

I am on myself use GTX 1050 ti for mining Monero. In my experience it has a quite good results. I don’t really remember how much was the cost of mining machine when I bought it. Something about 900EUR.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 28, 2017, 06:43:14 PM
I have heard that some kind of cryptocurrency (don’t remember the name) was going to beat Bitcoin. But such stories like the legends. In the real world it is hard to imagine any currency that will replace Bitcoin.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: December 21, 2017, 06:48:38 PM
Hi,

I think Cardano will be a lot bigger.
What do you think?

The new NEO?
Edit: I mean NEO because the price will increase a lot Smiley

It is really hard to say anything clearly. I have thought some time ago that the NEO is collapsed and will over. But it is growing. Maybe Cardano project will be so speedy at very beginning too. We’ll see.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY TALK on: December 21, 2017, 06:41:43 PM
OK my fellow bounty soldiers let's trade bounty stories about the best bounty we ever participated in and how much was the most coin we ever received as bounty reward from a bounty campaign and let's mention our choice of the best bounty manager on bitcointalk.
For me the best bounty I ever participated in are those involving the bounty portal especially monaize and AIgang network( they are still ongoing). The highest bounty I ever received was 15000 peculium token for wearing their avatar as my twitter profile pic and my best bounty manager is Tokenmarket

I cannot imagine that any true essential good story about bounties could exist. There are so few bounties which worth of telling about. I prefer other ways of earning the money through crypto.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: December 21, 2017, 06:41:09 PM
by 12/11 the value of LH Crypto coin should be rise of 10% difference

coin price is now at $0.135

investors might sees of detail with the projects at http://lh-crypto.io

I think here more answers aiming advertisement of its own projects. Today I don’t know any good new project which are going to organize ICO. Really no worthwhile ideas and technologies. Maybe this is the matter of time.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: December 21, 2017, 06:34:46 PM
Yes I would say banks would be afraid of this evolving cryptocurrency,
and I think if they get the chance they would stop these currency for growing. Most banking experts are well aware of the benefits of cryptocurrencies but they just want to de-motivate people so they can still continue their business alone

Yes, many still do not know what crypto currency is, but who knows about it is trying to destroy it by spreading dirty rumors about bitcoin. Soon banks will have to accept crypto currency, otherwise they will lose their customers.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2017, 06:30:32 PM
Hey guys. I was asking my self "Should I buy Bitcoin now? What if it's gonna go down after I buy?". What do you think? Should I buy or wait?

Of course, you need to buy bitcoin, because in the next few years it will grow rapidly and bring good profits.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: December 21, 2017, 06:29:06 PM
I do not consider long-term keeping bitcoin greed. It's just that people have big goals to achieve which they need a lot of money and in this way they earn to achieve it.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: December 14, 2017, 04:24:29 PM
What's going on with Litecoin. Is this just a pump and dump kinda thing like we've seen before ?

This is not looks like this currency is just pumped. Bitcoin keep growing. Litecoin is the biggest fork of BTC so it under influence of more powerful coins. Buying of Litecoins is good investment now. IMHO.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IOTA dead? on: December 14, 2017, 04:16:36 PM
Some time ago I have read about this ICO and currency. At that time it had been looking interesting for me. Improving the system Internet of Things was the newbie in the crypto world. That’s pity thing if this project is over.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: December 14, 2017, 04:14:23 PM
maybe you can use some exchange. I believe they will support bitcoin gold. check out bittrex as I remember they support btg first

I cannot really understand why so many talks about Bitcoin Gold. This fork don’t show high results. Of course it is stable but this is not a benefit at the time when Bitcoin itself are making price records.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are all tokens shit? on: December 14, 2017, 04:11:04 PM
Laziness after ICO like you said is a common thing in the cryptomarket world today. But what the problems with Ethereum in addition to it. ETH, its wallet and tokens of ICO is two different areas.
