In terms of position, they are also not much different because there is only one ladder with the same points.
Monaco have slightly better goal productivity but their defense is also very poor in this regard.
I would not even dare to bet even with quite tempting odds in this match considering their conditions are the same, actually this still has more risk.
Right now, in top five teams Monaco is surely conceded more goals than any other team which needs to be settled but with the way of play they are doing good because recently I watch few matches and I believe mostly they are playing open games with aggressive mode which is good for them but in last five games they have three clean sheets which mean works already going on for improving defence which is good and with this all most chances we will be able to have them into good spot until end of this season.

For the Marseille game both are good and improving performance which is good, but Marseille is surely missing after the worst games, and recently they have won first game after five matches which mean things are turning into positive but still facing team like Monaco is not easy for them.
Marseille are now in a state where they want to improve after continuously not getting good results for their matches.
Victory against Lyon in the previous game should be more motivation but they need to realize that in the match against Lyon last week their midfield actually did not work well and Tudor must anticipate this when facing Monaco later.

However, Benzema is currently injured and has not been able to fully contribute this season so they are considering buying a substitute who can temporarily replace Benzema when he is unable to play full time. When they manage to get a player with specifications with skills like Benzema will strengthen the position of the attacker.

They don't need to sign a striker with Benzema's exact specs; a striker with similar characteristics would suffice; each player has his own style of play and skill set. Oshimen, who is in top form and has all eyes on him, could be a better substitute for Benzema, but I don't see him getting enough playing time in Real Madrid unless Benzema is injured, which could hinder his competence in the long run. Benzema has reached the point in his career where they need to find a replacement as quickly as feasible.
At the moment there are rumors that Osimhen is a target for Madrid apart from Jude in the transfer market and this is indeed a good thing but from what I have read in several media, Napoli clearly do not expect this even if they do have to sell now the clause. increased to 120 million which was originally only 100 million.
Of course this is not a small amount even though Madrid are not short of money but this amount is very large in my opinion.

I am fascinated by Manchester United's game. They have shown great skill. Beating Aston Villa would not have been easy had not all the players in the team put in a great performance.
Unfortunately this happened in the EFL not the EPL and it seems they really want to be more serious in the EFL this season because it is clear from the competition, of course the EFL is much easier than the EPL considering that big teams rarely prioritize this competition.
For example, Arsenal let their substitutes and young players play because they want to focus on the EPL and Europa League. This had to be put to good use if the Ten Hag wanted to chase the trophy.

The GUNNERS are really putting on a  good impression and I think last night loss against Brighton should actually be put back. They should continue their good form because for now I think they are only team that can handle the heat Manchester City is bringing to league.

Arsenal have not contested for the league title for long now and I think this year they can actually get a short at it, that's only  if arteta can be sure to straighten up his boys and continue their current form
This does not have any impact because the defeat to Brighton can be considered as something that is not a priority and it can be seen with the condition of their players who are almost entirely young players and substitutes who need flying time.
I personally still feel that Arsenal will only focus on the Europa League and EPL for now, especially with their current condition, which is a good thing because it will not be too good if there is too much competition.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 10, 2022, 08:50:29 PM
They lost the third place in a very bad moment, indeed: before the pause for the World Cup. Athletic de Bilbao, on the other hand, were able to take advantage of the situation with their latest victory by three goals against Valladolid.

I'm sorry for their fans too: for Atlético, being in the podium is a must. They'll have to wait after the Cup to recover their position.
With their current condition I'm actually not too sure but looking back at last season they were also very difficult but still being able to be in 3rd position towards the end of the season was very good and maybe now it won't be much different.
It depends on how Simeone does his job now and I hope he can commit better because these 2 seasons like Simeone lost his touch as a coach.

I agree that "El Cholo" seems a bit tired after so many years training the team. But, as you said, last seasons was the same, and they still managed to hold to the third place. Failing to do at least so this year would suppose a rupture in a trend that lasts more than 10 years now.
Simeone has been at Los Rojiblancos for more than a decade of course this is quite a long time for a coach but indeed at this point he seems too tired and sometimes has internal problems with the players like some of his decisions last season.
A lot of people expected him to step down at the moment but judging by his statements after being knocked out in the Champions League it seems like he still hopes to continue coaching here even if it's a bit difficult.
The hope now is that hopefully there will be some changes for Atletico after this half of the season.

For an English player who doesn’t like leaving to play in other leagues, I think Manchester United is the perfect destination for Harry Kane. Harry Kane is in the prime years of his career and still has a lot left to give at international and club level. Manchester United are struggling up front with regards to personnel. And with a player like him that has plenty of experience and knows the Premier League inside out, it will be a good business for the club.

At the moment there is a lot of talk about Kane and actually Rice's name is there too but in this case I actually just assume this will only be a rumour.
Regardless of anything at this time we know that the management of Manchester United is sometimes too stingy to spend money. On the other hand, bringing in Kane will not be as easy as imagined because apart from the price, it is certain that the drama will be quite big.

I still haven't seen what the revival moment for Marseille will be in this regard.
They still haven't been able to make this good enough and despite a win with Lyon in the previous week but it was still a narrow win and they were still cornered at the time just holding on.
I personally am still not quite sure about them, especially since the opponent they will face is Monaco and the advantage is clearly in Monaco considering they played at home when they hosted Marseille in their last match before the holiday.

Of course, Marseille has just come off a bad trend. In their last 5 matches in all competitions, Marseille suffered 4 defeats and one draw. victory over Lyon, can be a motivation to lift their morale against Monaco later. these two teams have the same points, with 27 points from 14 matches in Ligue 1.

If we look at the statistics from the standings, these two teams have something in common. in 14 matches, they won 8 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses. of course in this match, Monaco is more superior than Marseille. besides they played at their own base, Stade Louis II. Monaco is in a better form than Marseille. in their last 4 matches in all competitions, Monaco only got one draw and even then in the Europa League match.

however, if we refer to the odds held by Manaco and Marseille, Monaco's advantage is that they play at home at odds @2.26 while Marseille's odds are @3.00. my estimation in this match, Marseille will win this match.
In terms of position, they are also not much different because there is only one ladder with the same points.
Monaco have slightly better goal productivity but their defense is also very poor in this regard.
I would not even dare to bet even with quite tempting odds in this match considering their conditions are the same, actually this still has more risk.

Marseille have just come back from a slump by picking up points in this week's game, it is undeniable that their 4 matches without a win will lower their confidence a bit. But they were lucky enough with their only goal in the first half which they could defend until the end of the game. Yes even though they did not play optimally in the match, but this result will make them more confident for their next match.
A better position than now is also very possible for Marseille to achieve if the consistency starts to improve again, because I don't think that Marseille can be at the top. Because it belongs to PSG that cannot be taken by other teams, but to be in second place is still very possible as long as Marseille are able to improve their game to be better than now or in the next match for Marseille.

Harry Kane will be a good signing for Manchester United but don't think that Vlahovic will move to Real Madrid to replace Benzema
Man United are sure in a need of a new attacker to replace diminishing Cristiano Ronaldo so they can approach Harry Kane these will only work of Tottenham are ready to break the bank for some players.
Naturally, Manchester United caught his attention to Harry Kane because he was a good striker. And not only Manchester United, there are several clubs outside of England are also interested in getting it.
Harry Kane's compatibility level to fill the position of Manchester United striker in my opinion is suitable, but from one source that Manchester United is reportedly trying to attract the Bayern Munich striker who is in good performance lately, Choupo-Moting.
I'm actually still pretty sure Kane won't go away in this.
He in the previous few seasons also always had a chance but still for the Spurs side they could hold it. it is not impossible with the state of their midfield favorable now Kane will still feel at home at the lilywhites.
I also still haven't heard much about the Kane and Manchester United rumors.

Since Karim Benzema's injury, Don Carlo has tried to maximize the potential of other players. So far, it is clear that Rodrygo is one example whose potential is visible. Benzema's absence helped bring out the best qualities from several players such as, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Fede Valverde.
The coach and Real Madrid know that they can not rely on Benzema for too long. He is old already and his career is coming to very last seasons. They can not expect that Benzema will carry their attacking for many seasons ahead. Vinicius, Rodrygo and Valverde are growing very good under management of Carlo Ancelotti.
In terms of progress, these three players are clearly very promising, but in terms of instinct to score goals, it is clear that they are still a bit lacking and Benzema is again one of the most likely ones, although this season Benzema is also having a bit of trouble because he always has problems with his feet.
I personally still want to see about Ancelotti's actual move in the transfer later whether they will look for alternative strikers or continue to push with the existing squad because if I see Rodrygo is actually better placed on the wing than being placed as a target.

It is surely a bad thing for coaches to be stressed with their club or team, I really think that Chelsea's previous coaches understand each other, they keep blaming the coaches even if the real problem doesn't really ie in the coach but some cases the players or the staff members aswell, they all keep lambast their coaches like that and if this continues there will be no one that would like to coach for them anymore,

Obviously this is still difficult because basically everything must require a process but for Potter's case he is required to immediately be able to play well and of course this is very difficult to do especially in this case he can be said to have minimal experience for a big club.
I'm not going to blame Potter for now although there are some things that Chelsea are lacking but it's a bit difficult at the moment with a few injured players.

One game remaining before the long holiday that Liverpool must win.
Actually looking at Southampton's current condition it is not too difficult for them to win with Southampton's condition now much worse than them but whether Liverpool can overcome this internal problem is still a little difficult to see.
Klopp can't sit still now because they already had the spirit to face Tottenham and win. This should be a good moment.
Yes this should be a must win game for Liverpool because Southampton are not in a very good form at the moment and I also expect Liverpool to win going into the break in high spirits. This is a really delicate time for Klopp he shouldn't be taking chances anymore it is expected at this moment that he wins games and gets up the table even if not competing for the trophy this season. A win against Southampton should be able to restore the confidence of the team.
Currently the condition of Southampton is not too good especially a few days ago they also sacked their coach because they were considered not too competent considering Southampton are currently at the bottom of the standings. Of course this will trigger upheaval in Internal Southampton and must be maximized properly by Liverpool.
There is currently a lot of speculation about Klopp's 7-year cycle as a coach and whether he is capable of staying at Liverpool is clearly questionable. There must be real action from Klopp so that he does not leave Liverpool and all of that must be achieved by finishing in the top 4.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 07, 2022, 06:16:05 PM
I agree that the biggest championship candidates for La Liga are Real Madrid and Barça. However, in the past, Atlético Madrid took the championship race ahead and became the champion. That's why expectations are so high from them. It would be great if Real Madrid and Barcelona join the race and make the league more exciting. Therefore, a big job falls on Simeone.  After being eliminated at UCL, they have to strive to win every game in the league with all their concentration.
The difference is that after they won the previous 2 seasons at this time they are very difficult to play like that again because there are so many problems in their defense.
But the difference when last season their defense was not very good they were still very good in attack, but now it is a little different in that regard. and yesterday's draw with 10 opposing players clearly shows that their attack line is still very lacking.

Liverpool fans and players have over celebrated their last match win and this is begging to give them some overhope for their future as many of them think that, going forward their club will perform better but then we need to know that Liverpool will face bigger clubs that will further break their team motivation this season.

There's a news in a while ago if Vlahovic would join Arsenal in the next year, there's no reason for Manchester United to sign more striker because they're currently have too many strikers right now. There's a chance Juventus will let Vlahovic go considering Juventus's performance is really bad in this season.

Dusan's performance at Juventus was not as good as he did at Fiorentina but with this I don't see any interest in Dusan going to London because at the moment it looks like he is still focused enough on being at Juventus to improve his lost form at the moment.
But it is not impossible for Juventus to push for a move for him because we know Juventus are currently struggling financially, so it is not impossible that some players are allowed to leave at a suitable price.

-snip-
After 4 games picking up just a pound in this match Marseille finally broke their bad run of season by winning by a narrow score although it was a bit of a hassle to keep this up.
Lyon continued to attack and created several chances in this match but unfortunately Marseille's defense was still disciplined enough to keep its territory.

Lyon played well, but Marseille put the ball in the back of the net. Both teams had more chances to get ahead on the scoreboard, but they failed to do so.

From watching the match what I understood is that both the teams need to work on their finishing a lot more. Lyon could have at least walked away with one point from this match if they did finish better in that match. The defense of Marseille was good in that match. After some really bad performances, this was needed for Marseille to boost their confidence.
Looking at their current condition it is clear that Marseille need to make some more improvements now especially for their midfield because they sometimes find it very difficult to control the midfield in the last few games. This match must be used as a turning point for them because they have lost quite a lot of points in the previous few matches so indeed with these 3 points they have to make a good comparison and evaluation material.

Now I am enjoying the Marseille vs Lyon match. This is Marseille's home match. The match is very important for both teams. Marseille will want to win today's home match by any means. Because they have lost points in the last three matches. And has moved from second place in the points table to sixth place. And so Marseille needs full points in this match to strengthen their place in the points table.

Lyon's performance has been pretty steady in recent times. There are several weaknesses within their team. However, Lyon's coach is trying his best to stabilize the team. And Lyon also won against Lille in the last match. And so it is very difficult for Marseille to get full points in this match. I think the match is going to be a draw.

BREAKING:Southampton have decided to sack Ralph Hasenhuttl.

(Source: The Athletic UK)

I know that many English clubs will begin to sack their coaches especially as Emry just arrived Aston Villa and got an immediate result.
EPL is full of competition this season and it is also full of surprises. No one is safe.
Southampton's performance has not been very good this season and indeed the results of some of the matches they have run are actually not good, especially with the last 5 matches 2 defeats, 2 draws and 1 win clearly making the officials there seem furious.
It could have been a pretty good decision but at the moment with their current condition it is clear they have to find a new coach quickly.

I read if madrid are interested in palmeiras players. He is a young 16-year-old player named Endrick. In addition, it seems that PSG are also interested in him. I think Madrid have a good history of young players from Brazil, they have had Vinicius, Rodrygo and Reinier. Endrick is a player like Mbappe he can be a Centre-Forward, Right Winger or Left Winger.

Source : https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2022/11/03/6364152d46163fe7848b457d.html
If Real Madrid really have serious interest in 16 year old Palmeiras player Endrick it is a good move, several top clubs like Arsenal are also interested in signing the 16 year old, PSG seem to be also interested in the player. A move to Arsenal or Real Madrid would definitely be better for Endrick, good atmosphere and environment to help him develop and improve his career. He is also versatile and can play in different positions he will definitely add quality to the team.
But indeed in this case it seems Palmeiras also do not want to let this young player go just like that because there are some reports saying that they have set a price of around 45 million and accompanied by a performance bonus they almost set a clause of 60 million and this is clearly a price that is not really worth it. too much sense for a 16 year old player.
