Last games before the World Cup tomorrow. LFC vs Southampton, really hoping we can sign off with 3 points. I am fed up of beating the likes of Man City, Napoli, Spurs but then losing to really awful teams like Leeds & Nottingham Forest. It must be an attitude thing with the players, you can not beat the first 3 teams I mentioned but then lose to the utter dross of the league. The players have got complacent, just hope we can win tomorrow before a good break. Lots of our players are not going to the World Cup so it could be good for us.

@lixer I believe that Tottenham will spend in January window, because they have had a decent season so far but if they want to clinch that champions league spot then they need fresh transfer’s. Also Leeds shouldn’t be underestimated, and thus I feel that Conte would have prepared well for this game because he too knows that they’re a tricky side, and Tottenham player’s can’t let their guard down while playing against them.

Interestingly, the purchase of players for Newcastle has proven to be useful so far.

In this case I quite agree with what you said especially looking at Howe's current squad actually they don't have one player who really becomes a reference because their quality is evenly distributed and that is a good thing because with this there is no right player -really a benchmark and must be served considering they have the same quality and their cooperation makes this even better.
