Huntercoin is extremely undervalued. It is a game inside the wallet that is "human-mineable". Why the fuck has this shit not caught on? Huntercoin has a market cap of $373,206 and it is an entirely new idea? Even shit/scam/clonecoins have 3-6x the market cap. The main reason I think is that the dev, SnailBrain spends his time working on the coin and does not spend any time advertising or hiring shills to clog up the threads here. How are your psu's set up? Are you jumping the 750 or using a splitter? It sounds like the power is not cycling right if the psu cuts off. I am obviously not an expert, but I have built and maintained many rigs so I do have a little experience.

One psu is sending messages to the other telling it to send 0 power. 280 290 cards chew some power and pull from the pci-e also and this does not work when adding different types of psu
you need something like what antec has its an oc cable and the psu communicates with eachother to allow different sized antect psu to work in tandem. A simple molex joining green wires will not do the trick
if anyone wants to argue this then i will gladly pull up a barrage of posts about this subject from the overclocking community..you do not mix different types of psu especially on the new cards and new pci-e 3.0 boards! joining green wires and what not is only so the psu turn on together it does not and will never solve your psu sending conflicting messages to each other through the mobo to the psu connected to your extra cards

Not sure with BAMT, but with my first packed Rig (4x 290x, 1x 280x, Windows 8, cgminer) 4 GB of RAM would not cut it. I had to add another 4 GB stick for it to run all cards.

What OS are you using? How much RAM do you have?
Have you swapped out the cards to see if it could be a faulty card causing the issues?

that is exactly not the case. Btc-s adresses beginn with a '1' same as btc adresses do and it is possible to loose coins in this way since same adresses exist in both networks. Your client doesn't reject it. Reddcoin and redcoinadresses also beginn with an 'R' each so same adresses exist in those networks. Go try it out yourself if you don't believe me. edit: i think there is potential to loose a large amount of coins with just a little bit of innatention. also i am not a stupid guy and also not particularly negligently so i think this mistake could happen to a lot of people with a lot of coins over time. My guess is people are counting on implied profits. The current price of a coin does not reflect what it will be worth tomorrow or in a week. If you only plan to mine a coin at the start, but have no plans to mine it for many days, it makes sense to rent some hash for a day or two.

Okay, were your coins generated before or after the fork? If you generated them after the fork on the wrong chain then they only exist on the current chain you are on. If you generated them before the fork then they still exist on the right chain. Do not spend them -->back up wallet -->and get yourself on the correct chain. |

we are working on patches atm.. many performance improvements, forks less likely to happen (hopefully not at all), syncing from scratch works, seems no checkpoint needed, stability of daemon seems better than ever (have not yet had one crash with daemon, although have not tested with mining)
issues working on.. possible some deadlocks, rpc not responsive during sync and sometimes when synced (does kickin after a while)-- seems these are some old bitcoin issues.

What kind of hashrates are people getting from their CPU?
I get around 3065 hashes per sec - i7 2600k.
Makes it around 850-900 good CPUs mining it at current net hashrate. Pretty impressive but not unrealistic if there are one or two botnets on board.
Most botnets have shitty cpus as a majority. |

I just bought Huntercoin (yay!) at poloniex which is working well. I look forward to improving and promoting hunter with everyone but first things first.
When I try to play the game on qt it says

How can I fix that?
Also if I enter the game I go in with and risk 1 coin right? not the whole balance I have in qt?

I am not sure about the first question, it may be you are trying too long a name? As for second question....each team costs 1.05 huc....that is all you will be risking for one team....but if you pick coins up in game they can easy be lost |

saw this in an old thread Just to re-iterate: this kind of modification, transaction malleability, is something that can be done by miners without the person who submitted the transaction even knowing. In other words that "high-roller" may not have had anything to do with the double-spend at all. That is a very good point! Anybody at all can create modified versions of any transaction in that manner and change its txid arbitrarily. This presents a way for satoshidice to cheat their players too, by transmitting modified versions of winning bets before they confirm. |

Have you considered contacting Virwox(Virtual World Exchange) about listing HUC? I am not a fan of Virwox as they charge such high fees on BTC purchases....but this coin may be right up their alley, and they have toss of volume compared to even the largest altcoin exchanges.
Anyway, just an idea.
