141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power Of Hold ! on: April 23, 2018, 02:08:50 PM

Buy the chinese Ethereum - NEO and you will not make a bad decision, there will be more ICOs based on NEO.

I second that. I would also suggest EOS, I don't have it, but I would really love to (just maybe don't do it at this moment, there is a possible "cup and handle" emerging).
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power Of Hold ! on: April 23, 2018, 02:06:10 PM
Try with eXRN. It is a service dedicated to making faster conversions between different cryptocurrentices (not yet fully up and running, but which project is actually?) It has a high supply, hence a little value on one coin (which also means it can easily move in decimal places), however, it showed resilience over the period of at least 6 months and a slow progress, it was only a constant - gain, gain. The project also looks very interesting and they offer eXRT for holding, recently paid out fully as promised.

143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: April 23, 2018, 01:54:08 PM
I usually hold, but now I am thinking about switching to the strategy of selling 30% on the bull run. This way you always hold but you also take some profit. As with building of portfolio - it is best if you diversify, but just a bit.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: prices about bitcoin diamond (BCD) on: April 23, 2018, 01:52:39 PM
I remember Bitcoin Diamond, and I actually thought it was a dead project since I never noticed any news. Now I see it is still alive.
However - Bitcointalk - no real communication in the thread. Telegram groups - only 60 or so members and no communication from the team since last year.
Coinmarketcap shows the sudden drop in value at one point.
Obviously, the team gathered some money and ran away. I could be wrong though, if I am, I apologize to the B.Diamond team.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple BULL RUN on: April 23, 2018, 01:48:45 PM
I think it will rise at more or less the same percentage as the whole market.
It is a good prospect, however, do you really want to support it? Do you know why I'm asking (why was Bitcoin created in the first place)?
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Hackable? on: April 23, 2018, 01:46:55 PM
Bitakayena? Is that a Godzilla (Gayaka, Gayaka!!!!!) reference or something like that?
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs LTC - The Litecoin Transaction Tells the Story on: April 23, 2018, 01:45:04 PM

Probably because BTC has one hundred times more businesses accepting it?

I agree. That and because Bitcoin was the first and is still a synonym for all crypto world.

By the way, there is a great FUD over Bitcoin scalability, but actually, it proved to be the most stable and scalable coin on the market. There are many on the market that claim otherwise, but they haven't really been put to any challenges. Bitcoin has issues, yes, but also a proven record of overcoming them. Most of the scalability threats are nothing more then society thinking in advance, which is again a good thing.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: April 23, 2018, 01:37:49 PM
Just two things to say (as I repeat them all over the forum like a parrot  Grin).
1. Regulations are a positive thing. We need regulations to keep the market healthy.
2. Government cannot take Bitcoin into possession, they can only make another cryptocurrency and force its adoption. However, a society has a say in it too.....

Today I think this regulations are not the greatest threat to progress..Developed countries make only liberal regulations and restrictions to protect their society,They are trying to create good balance between people's interest and public interest. The main problem is for governments is that they can't control money migration.bitcoin is also a good tool for them to improve their economical conditions and not only bitcoin,Just imagine how many good projects are creating all over the world, its money export too for them.I'm just talking about this to explain that there is no danger.People see the need for such a regulations,Even such as for example KYC or Mandatory reporting rules are.In another case there may be chaos. So I'm Sure that there always will be a bunch of people wanting to buy or sell bitcoins, because of its unique nature,So my advice it to not think about this.I personally see regulation as an inevitable and desirable thing, but this regulations must be concentrated on people's will.Anyway there is no reason for fear.

I would like just to correct you, or better said - add to your statement that the actual problem is that Governments have the possibility to control money migration where they shouldn't (and that is where smart contracts could help) and don't have where they should (this cannot be solved with Blockchain - this is intrinsic to laissez-faire (free economy) system which has some advantages and, quite obviously, some disadvantages).

151  Other / Meta / Re: What a heroic act should i do to get 100 merits on: April 21, 2018, 10:04:59 PM
Hello, dear participants of the forum. It has long been obvious to all of us that the system with merit input is perfect for dealing with multiaccounts. But you suffer from it and are honest users. I am hardworking person, I am willing to work 10-12 hours, but it will not let me earn a new rank on the forum, because high quality posts or not get a merit or receive it very little. The number of spam didn't decrease in the branches. Every day I see new topics with the same questions beginners, for example, " is it worth investing in Ripple?", "What are the best altcoins?"and so on. Qualitatively nothing has changed, but I left hope to start making good money at the expense of signature campaign.

I would've actually given you a Merit for this post, but I have none left. A merit system was invented in order to induce the quality, but however, I don't see that happening.
Most of those that are used to writing shit-posts continue to do so (although now they also do that more intensively and beg for merits), while those on the opposite side continue to write good posts.

Until now, however, most of those in the middle, myself included increased a quality of posts. However again, most of those started to lose interest after not receiving merits for quality posts.
I continue to write a decent quality post every now and then Smiley, but I do that with respect to the signature campaign and because of my own interests, not for the merits.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Verge really partner with PornHub? on: April 21, 2018, 09:57:46 PM
It seems so. Let's see now if other porn hub's will do something similar. Competition can do miracles.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do after being hacked? on: April 21, 2018, 09:56:13 PM
Should be the same as with any other asset. If somebody stole your money from the bank, the bank should be responsible for tracking your money and returning it to you. But if somebody stole it from your wallet, then you can only call the police (exchange and some authority) and hope for the best.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: April 21, 2018, 09:53:34 PM
Look, when you go to a party and you are running late, do you think you could still enjoy it when you arrive there?
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why cryptocurrencies necessary in today's world on: April 21, 2018, 09:51:16 PM
Why Cryptocurrencies are neccesary in today's world?
Because the current financial system is not working particularly well. The big economic crisis of 2008. showed it really nicely, and it was only the tip of the iceberg. We need a new system for both creation and distribution of money.

What is the real world use of these cryptocurrencies?
As I already mentioned -  a new system of creation of money and distribution (more decentralized, fairer). Application of smart contracts should put an end to injustice in direct and arbitrary relations.

Why traditional assets and currencies are not enough?
Because the creation of the money is almost solely in the hands of private bankers (a money multiplication system), a system is functioning on a debt basis (which means there is always one side with power to put pressure on the other, and also inevitably it has to fall apart). Distribution is in the hands of Governments and also not working very well (destruction of "middle class", 1% of the wealthiest, and to many poor people without food & shelter).

What is the benefit of having bitcoin over dollar or any other currency?
A current benefit is a strong investment vs. gain ration.A current benefit is a strong investment vs. gain ration.

Where do we use these Cryptocurrencies in today's world?[/b]
We use them as a store of value, an investment opportunity, and for trading (Bitcoin is accepted in various stores all overt the world).

What benefits real cryptocurrencies gives you?
They ease the way we handle things by replacing the barter system.

Why you are so excited by the introduction digital currencies?
Because it offers exciting new possibilities. A financial world got a little bit stale in last three decades.

156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The existence of bitcoin is still lacking on: April 21, 2018, 07:30:49 PM
In my city at least 9 of 10 people know what Bitcoin is... in a sense that it is a digital coin. However, I think that only 1 out of 10 knows more about it.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart people have bought a bitcoin on: April 21, 2018, 07:29:43 PM
It is a good point. However, are those to be considered luckier or smarter?
There are good ideas every day - do you invest in all of them. How do you recognize which one of them will be wildly accepted? That is why, for example - Steve Jobs was brilliant, he could do just that. It's like he actually had a crystal ball. Or is it possible that he was just also a brilliant marketer?
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Ever Be Shutdown? on: April 21, 2018, 07:22:19 PM
I don't know, does it have a shutdown button?
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't use margin on: April 21, 2018, 07:20:37 PM
If your strategy is to hold long term, then no point in using margin trading, yes. Margin trading, trailing, stop loss etc etc are all for short-term holders and daily traders.
