41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All DEX wallet User Please Beware on: November 30, 2021, 03:49:03 PM
I know the issue of not been able to use screenshot with trust but I think there's no connection between your funds being lost and it. Your funds will never be confiscated by a wallet unless you do a transaction. Or maybe your tokens aren't showing because you didn't custom add tokens. Another thing is that maybe it is a bug that happened. It happens to some multi-wallet app but rest assured that its there. No one can take it away from you.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Another One Bites the Dust: Entebbe Int. Airport falls to China's Debt Trap on: November 29, 2021, 02:09:57 PM
Little by little this China is getting out of hand. They will really do their best just to get their grip in every country. This is the very example of their bias offers trying to help but in the end, choking you in your own country. This will not stop here but surely in the future some countries will fall to this trap too.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down innovation on: November 29, 2021, 10:26:51 AM
I am as well not sure why they are fond of doing that. Maybe their communist party is afraid of people getting too much successful, because they feel that those people might one day reach the level that they won’t be able to stop them anymore, and as a result, it would lead to their downfall. So they are trying as much as possible to quench every fire. They don’t want to give their citizens too much of freedom so that nobody would be able to speak up against their rule.

Anyways, I think the people are just okay with living that way, because if not, then I believe they would have started speaking up and protesting for their rights. Although, I can’t really tell, it might be that people are just scared for their life, so they don’t want to speak up and have decided to stay mute. You might speak and there would be nobody to back you up, and you would just be on your own and suffer the consequences. We have seen how they always silenced those that tried to speak up against them.

That's what communism is. A monopoly and control in everything in their country. Just look at Jack Ma who's one of the richest there. He can't be reach now and no one knows exactly where he is only after he talks how China's economic structure were outdated. In my opinion however, communism is quite good but in just a certain degree of tolerance. Not like this where everyone who talks bad about them should be punished and worse gone immediately.

Your bottom 3 picks are recommendable but other than that, those are pure speculative assets. Nonetheless, you can check good metaverse projects here https://www.coincarp.com/category/metaverse/ ehich is worth the invest compare to memecoins you have there. DeFi projects are also good to have one specially that we are now in a dip.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mercatox is a SCAM on: November 28, 2021, 11:08:37 PM
They disabled withdrawals for doge, and have been 'working' on it for a year.

Any advice on how to attempt to get my funds back?
Yow just sell your doge and get your funds out of there. If you really want to have Doge in your wallet, you can buy it in other exchanges which don't have maintenance like that. Its not a scam if only a couple of coins aren't available for withdrawals. Probably a maintenance or a problem with doge itself.

47  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 22, 2021, 12:39:52 PM
Try out this strategy, strike things quickly out of your need/want list and be content, so they no longer become a problem and hindrance to your plans to save/invest.

If you plan to buy a house for your comfort, and it is within your means, seek out a way to get it done quickly.

If you plan to get a car, as you feel you are ripe enough for it, and there's a means to get it, don't hesitate, get it quickly off your list.

if you plan to buy a home equipment, electronics or furniture,  and it is super important to you and your comfort, buy it and get it off your list.

The longer you wait at times, the more prices increase, things are not getting cheaper, the longer you wait the more the thought of this need bugs your mind.

Why not invest before buying those things? I think its better to pay rent for houses and invest your money first before buying your own house. Be okay with electric fan rather than air-conditioned unit and invest it first. Ripe your investments first then reinvest until you have the financial freedom. With the right strategy, you can attain these gains and buy all those things you want.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: People tend not to move on: November 21, 2021, 03:23:33 PM
https://www.economist.com/britain/2021/11/18/britains-inequalities-are-spelt-out-in-its-surnames

A recent research presented in the article above indicates that
Quote
most people don't move
, geographically speaking. It is curious how most people are (randomly?) born somewhere and they tend to look for the opportunities to make a living on that place, do not go too far or think that they actually enjoy the freedom of deciding to go to anywhere else in the world unless they have serious pressing motivation (hunger, crime,...).

Reading this, I could not help but think that people also "don't move" in monetary terms. They are born in a certain region and they do not think that their money might very well better in some other form (e.g. bitcoin).
Its because that's where their loved ones are. In our family, we take care of each other and dont leave anyone behind. Why go to other places when you can have a decent job and income in your hometown? Lets say there's an offer of additional 100$ monthly but you can't be with your loved ones once in a while, then its a no for me. However, thanks to cryptocurrency market I am starting to turn the tables as I could invest easily in it unlike any before. Lots of opportunities are out there that you can access without leaving your home.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 21, 2021, 03:16:19 PM
If the FUD were not taken place, I think we already beat the BTC at 70K mark this November. Nonetheless, I think the BTC market will still recover to its 60K+ price within this month and could potentially drop again by December. I can see a lil bit of correction up to 59K+ and could again have momentum at the start of the year. We're witnessing a bull trap this month and dont be fooled with it.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 20, 2021, 03:59:00 PM
I think I will sell everything I have (btc and alts) in the end of december, to USDT.

1) transfer it (usdt) on Tron on my ledger
2) Wait months
3) Wait again
4) buy back when bloodbath looks over
5) triple my holdings

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?

TIA

btw Im an old member that lost his account (was stolen)

Well it sounds a very concrete plan you have been there buddy. However, I think bull market will continue up until Feb and selling by December would be a loss. Bull run has started ready and I dont see it stop til the next 3 months. Sorry for the loss of your account by the way. Hope you could bring it back again.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible market crash in the near future? on: November 20, 2021, 03:53:30 PM
There are (as of  now) 14029 cryptocurrencies listed in coinmarketcap.com.
A case has been made (repeatedly) for  the existence of a bubble in the cryptocurrency market.
Yeah, I understand cryptocurrencies are volatile, high risk investments. But, are you guys expecting a market crash anytime soon?
I think its hard to tell whether the market crash or it goes well. There are lots of factors to consider and lots of personalities should be kept to avoid this to happen. However, in my opinion even after a Fud, the market will always recover. Cryptocurrency is getting into mainstream day by day as many news are being broadcast everyday to it. Lots of investors and institutions know the potentials that it could bring and thats hard to be broken into.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: November 19, 2021, 04:12:55 PM
Nope. Memecoins aren't supported by institutions and will never be. Well, there are places and even personalities who love to see this in the future but institutions invest in fundamentals and not in hypes. So, these memcoins might go up in price but will never rule the world. Many will surely oppose when that being pursue. Lol.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High ETH withdraw Fees, how to Solve on: November 19, 2021, 04:10:06 PM
I use Binance,  Kucoin etc crypto exchange for Trading, Binance use very often and I use Kucoin very rarely. But my main problem is high eth withdraw fees from Exchange to Personal wallet (MyEtherwallet). Have any crypto exchange with low withdraw fees?
Its a fixed fees they have dude and we can't do anything about that. Most probably they charge more or less 20$ as of now and that makes sense as it was adopted years ago where Eth's just under a 1000$. I believe P2P would be good if and only if you have a good trader wanting to trade with you. The risk is high compared to exchanges. So beware.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play-to-Earn games on ETH: What's the catch? on: November 19, 2021, 04:05:25 PM
I see hype surrounding Play-to-Earn games (P2E) lately, just because it brings a new income stream to gamers. Many people are greedy, so they recur to blockchain-based games with the hopes of making big bucks in return. While P2E sounds promising, it's limited to the underlying blockchain network's capacity. I sometimes wonder what's the catch of games which "give away money for free", since fees on ETH are so high right now. How does the game generate revenue by itself? I suppose it's not out of thin air. We'll have to see how this will play out during an extended bearish market. Most probably, P2E will fail just like ICOs back in 2017.

Thoughts? Huh
Lol its not free money as it needs knowledge to win, time to learn and specially more time to spend in playing and investing at your characters and such. Its an ecosystem supported by its players and community investors where the money they got are due to their initial investments but with greater returns. Its like DeFi where you provide liquidity then you got compensated. In P2E, you provide time and money for your characters then you got compensated when you play. Its price are driven by market + in game features.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do with 20,000 Dogecoins? on: November 16, 2021, 11:07:36 AM
Good afternoon,

I've been involved in Bitcoin for a few years, in 2014 while mining Bitcoin with ASIC I put for a while the graphs to mine Dogecoin, then as they worth hardly anything I forgot about them until a few days ago I got to thinking that maybe I had not changed them to Bitcoin (as I did with the rest of what I had mined).

The thing is that I started looking for the keys and I found 46,000 Dogecoins, I have changed 6000 to Shiba and I was thinking about changing another 20,000 to other Altcoins.

In principle it has occurred to me to put a part in Ether, another in Loopring and another in Solana and / or Cardano, also put a tiny part in DOGGGO in case the people who are following it make it go up to the moon.

Any opinion will be welcome.

I can also keep the Doges, I do not consider putting it in Bitcoin because I'm up to my eyebrows.

Thanks in advance for your wise advice.
Nice fortune you got there buddy. Well, I think it would be nice if you invest in P2E projects like Axies and similar projects like that as it could still boom in the incoming years to come. Another thing is DeFi projects. Provide liquidity and surely you will earn more with what you have right now.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: correction or start of a bear market? on: November 16, 2021, 11:04:45 AM
Hi all, Last week my friend once said about the current and future situation of the crypto market. he said that if bitcoin can't stay above 60k, then altcoins will be hit by a big correction. At that time I doubted what was said because I saw the market situation was quite good. but seeing today started to believe it a little. further said that the end of this month until the end of the year, will be the most important point for the crypto market because at that time it will be a representation of the situation going forward. he said if by the end of the year some big coins pass their support point, then the market will not be fine going forward. but on the other hand if big coins like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and others can stay at current prices, the start of the year will be a pretty good situation to trading.

judging from what he said, I conclude that right now the market is at a very important time. but even so I didn't fully believe what he said. I stick to my decision that currently hold is the best despite the red market today.
Well I think its getting bearish due to lots of fud news this week. From Mt. Gox distribution to US infrastructure bill passed this week added by Evergrande's effect last week. But nonetheless, it's November and it is the most bullish month according to datas. Market could probably go down a bit from here but will surely recover within the incoming weeks and if I am correct with my calculations, BTC could go to 72K mark.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you deal with your emotions after losing a lot of money on rug pulls? on: November 16, 2021, 10:59:35 AM
I know it isn’t easy for us to get over or move on with these rug pulls, but I wanna ask the community here. For the past few months, I’ve experienced the “expect the unexpected” moments without warning. To be honest, I have accumulated losses of more than $2,000 in failed meme coins, shitcoins, play-to-earn games that ended up being rug pulled.

I am aware of the risks and the amount that I can afford to lose, but it’s just that I find it hard to make that money back that I have hardly earned. But good thing I didn’t go all-in with my entire savings, and that’s a good thing. I just can’t resist myself from being emotional despite that I’m aware of the risks, and my heart was emotionally hurt too.

I wanna hear from you guys on how you deal with these rug pulls after losing huge amounts? Like how many days can you get back on track after being so emotional? Or what you’ve been doing in order to move on faster after you lost money on these rug pulls?
I've been losing a lot this current dump through futures and I know what it felt like. Well, for me I just leave it behind my brain and have no contact in binance since I got liquidated. I've been thinking of drinking just to forget about it but it'll just probably give me headaches afterwards so yeah I just played games and trying to forget my losses. Will probably enter the market once I have the capital again.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did I just get scammed? cannot sell ART, already paid 25USD for "allowing" on: November 15, 2021, 03:48:28 PM
hello,

I have bought ART token on bsc - cannot sell it - pancake always ask me to enable ART and I need to pay 25USD - I have already paid 25USD but still cannot sell and it is asking me again to allow selling for 25USD

tx:
https://bscscan.com/tx/0x17353aa96211f96c9f10d3f1799025ecfaf04d31e9ac89cad2f2883fa9e23d4b

is this a scam? can I somehow tell pancake to stop selling that scam or what can I do?

if this is not a good forum to ask, do you know any better bep20 focused forum (not reddit?)

thank you  Undecided

Always check in official sites for their token address man. There are lots of scammers out their selling wrong tokens. To avoid this to happen again, go to Coinmarketcap or Coingecko to check the contract address of that coin you desired to buy. Second, paste the address on pancakeswap select token page. It will automatically show the token name. Lastly, check if the price of the coin is similar with whats in cmc or coingecko. Always check the contract address.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: November 15, 2021, 03:42:00 PM
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks
No doubt man. We see a high returns these past few years and could possibly continue in the next years to come. As long term holder, minor dumps aren't alarming and all I want to see is the developments. Prices for short term isn't important. 2-3 years of holding would give much return.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that Mt Gox funds are going to get released? on: November 15, 2021, 03:38:35 PM
I was told by a source that Mt Gox funds will be released on ~20 November, 2021 on the order of honorable court where the hearing was made. If it's a fact, will 150k btc worth $10 billion enter the market? And should we prepare for a big dump after this happens? The intention behind posting this isn't about spreading chaos but awareness about what may happen if Mt Gox funds will be released. This is a happy news for me, but scary too.
Quite scary for Bitcoin holders. It could potentially drop its price and could reach 55K+ once again in just an instant and these guys who lost their BTCs are now potentially millionaires. What a fortune though. It just like they hold it for long then got released with a xxxxx return. Just wow.
