801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS under $1 on: January 03, 2018, 11:20:49 AM
Which Altcoins are likely to pump in a month or two, and can give profit in short term? I am new and cant afford losing money.
Haha youre new right? So read and study all the Coin that has good potential for your perspective. Nobody could predict the future outcome of a coin so its useless to ask here were not gods nor fortune teller.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 03, 2018, 07:48:56 AM
eth is good now ..
Indeed it is, we may have seen ETH as a trading platform or supports tokens from it. But it is also benefiting from all the ICO's that had been advertised by the users as well. Ethereum Website or wallet helps Ethereum coin itself and getting some speculaters interested little by little.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: January 03, 2018, 05:44:14 AM
Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs?
You must learn first on something or how it works or even gets the high priced value. You know the basic on it to create something or some standards in your mind to have a good attitude for investing. Crypto is definitely gonna make you profit than youd ever imagined however risks are involved luck friend.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 03, 2018, 04:03:10 AM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
Yes it is generically they are providing advertising groups for their COIN/TOKEN to have a more profitable ways through the internet. Almost all ICO's are successful and they profit more than expected. So all the investors benefit from it too. Not only you can be with ease and the coin creators literally provide exposure all you have to do is to watch the price to jump high and sell for the expected price or profit you want.
805  Economy / Economics / Re: Economical World Of Bitcoin And Its Difficulties on: January 02, 2018, 07:30:47 AM
From many months i am thinking about what if " we remove fiat system , and change things into crypto " .. What are the main difficulties we will face ?

1. Internet every where is not yet done.
2. Awareness with Crypto ( but its not a big thing, as most are aware of how to use currency. )
3. Bitcoin is only 21,000,000 and world population is more. ( This can fix by other altcoins same like USD/RUB/CNY etc )

What other difficulties we can face ?

If it get to that point of fiat converging into an digital banking or billing it would be ridiculous to not have a paper money its kind of creepy lol. Well facing it now but by little. As you say internet isnt worldwide some locations dont have the signal or the authority to acces the full operated internet. Its disadvantageous to those who does not have that and it will be difficult to those who are old enough to not even recognize what internet us or what smartphones even mean.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: January 02, 2018, 01:28:26 AM
Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?
Dont invest a large money if you dont even know what is cryptocurrency yet. Youre just wanting to invest and asking for good investment not knowing how and what are the risks in it and it depends on your needs to how low are you gonna last. Bitcoin for slight term investment. But if you want to risk all of that in a matter of years in term BITCOINCASH AND ETHEREUM ARE The right choice best for you.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alts to accumulate now for short term gains? on: December 31, 2017, 05:01:13 PM
What are the best option to accumulate now for one month hold which could provide max gains?
May be due to they being in high demand now or due to the road map during this month.
Currently holding: Ada, Stratis, ETC

You do know short term holding doesnt go always good. And look at the circumstances of Bitcoin. Much better if you trade for an instant profit than holding it now theres no guarantee it will recover in time and might be possible but for a long time to recover and profit from it.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new coins that you can get thousands for cheap? on: December 31, 2017, 12:27:27 AM
Hi,

Are there any coins that have recently come to light that you can buy thousands of for a small amount? A bit like COLX was a few months!

Got some small money happy to buy coins that are not mainstream at the moment but have good ideas and team.

809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: December 30, 2017, 01:08:02 AM
just woke up on this massive dump !

what do you think it's causing this ? and do you think this is the best time to buy ? or it will dump even more   Shocked

It is the Bitcoin price that is dying so much. Bitcoin is the cause of it. So far they are only bleeding for not that much of a big deal. Picking is crucial for a good coin that so secure in value even it is in a big dip. Go to ETH and or BCH for safe and secure value to profit from.
810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 29, 2017, 03:19:20 PM
What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
For me if it would happen to me i would definitely be devastated and full of regrets about the bad decission i make and take for granted some good low paying but profitable investment. But in the end of the day ill be so depressed i would not care if ill die haha. Thats for sure for me.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a trader on: December 29, 2017, 09:39:48 AM
I have no idea about trading .But want to learn trade how become trader please help and give me some information and share some site.
Have some money to invest have some attitude like a pro and mostly dont panic sell. Every coin you have must have an ongoing signature or any kind of campaign to ensure the safety of the value on the coin your investing with.
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: December 29, 2017, 05:23:33 AM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
But it will take some time. Losing money is never easy all your hardworks to earn that and lost it afterwards it would be devastating to imagine something like that. You cant treat something that losing money is a part of trading if you dont have that money. As you say experienced means a lot of money has been earn and your mentality have been upgraded due to the money that you are earning than losing.

814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: December 29, 2017, 03:12:37 AM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
A $100 should be enough for starters but it depends on you if you want to lower your start you can always make it right. But the lowest start so you cant waste some big fees about $20 at least.
Piece of advice to speculate the ICO's and growing coins.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Investment on: December 29, 2017, 01:55:08 AM
Hey all,

Been investing in crypto for the last few months as well as trying to learn more about it. Initially downloaded Coinbase and deposited $1000 (50% - ETH, 35% BTC and 15% LTC). Since the initial investment I've been topping up each crypto depending on the market conditions (usually between $25 to $150).

Just wanted a little advice on whether it's better to carry on with this strategy and concentrating on these 3 cryptos for long term profit (1-5 years) or would it be advisable to increase the number of alts I have in my portfolio. Was looking at DASH, Ripple, Cardano, Monero, Stellar, NEO, Siacoin and OmiseGO.

Any advise is welcome  Smiley
Just keep it up and maybe add some investments later and keep it growing until your content or satisfy with your profits on hand. And maybe put up some additionals to Btc and keep it as a priority coin for you.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to Watch in 2018 on: December 28, 2017, 03:40:58 PM
You need to focus on some valuable ICO projects, and if you choose the right ICO project, then in 2018 you will have a huge profit because the bull market is just beginning.
I think in 2018 ICO's will be not a problem in the forum cause theymos just discussed about this. The current altcoins will be the last i think and the number of ico will decline due to the new rules that was discussed i hope not though it is a problem for some traders and the value will surely decline.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: December 28, 2017, 01:24:42 PM
I hope the ICO craze will end soon.

I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.

But a lot of crypto-newbies gamble with them thinking they know what they're doing and that crypto is all about pumping and dumping random "projects". These people ignore, or not even aware what crypto stands for and just giving a bad name to it. And they will eventually get burned and hate cryptos altogether. Profits aren't made from nothing, it comes from other people's losses.
But some made millions on it. Bountiea altcoins can be a pain in signature or trading  but take advantage of it while it is usable or has normal price to profit with. It is possible though that ICO's will not exist cause it was discussed by theymos and his colleageus to put up more barriers towards altcoins and other abusive matter.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: December 28, 2017, 11:40:33 AM
In longer term, ETH value can even overrun bitcoin's value. Both of this coins are created for different reasons and ETH has a lot of real world usage while bitcoin has become a store of value nowadays. ETH is widely used to create tokens to fund new businesses. Also the transactions are superfast and lot more cheaper than bitcoin which increases its acceptability to the frequent transactors.

Also if we see the market cap, ETH is holding the second position since a long time now. Which proves that ETH is widely accepted and praised by the crypto community. So I believe, ETH can certainly reach the current level of bitcoin, probably not soon but surely in long run.
Yes it has surpasses Bitcoin if we talk about the value of Bitcoin and duration of growth value than BTC's Ethereum has more charisma on the ICO's like tokens and the other grants of The founder of it. While Bitcoin has never been in contact on Satoshi i think.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Million Altcoins?! on: December 28, 2017, 10:41:02 AM
Just looking at the Bounty section here at bitcointalk, there are about 400 different Bounty programs for different altcoins just dating back less than 10 days.  Thats crazy right?  Is this many new coins being created a good thing or a bad thing? I feel like really good coins will get looked over and possibly buried in the mix. Of course some bad coins will come along and take up your time and possibly your money investing into them. But also every once in a while a gem comes out of there. It's just staggering how many new coins are popping up each day, it's really hard to keep track.

Thats just the way it is supppsed to be a matter of competition about who has the most influential group of people to endorse clearly and majestically their coin to be acknowledge by the people that uses crypto currency. Youll find it hard to identify which one is the shitcoin and which is what.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 to HODL till December 2018. on: December 28, 2017, 04:10:50 AM
Since more and more people are getting to know about cryptocurrencies, i can't wait to se what will happen in the crypto markets in 2018. I want to talk about coins to hold through out 2018, till December ending. I am not into pump and damp coins.

Below is my list. Tell me which coins under $1 you will hold till the end of 2018. For me personally, I think investing $1000 each into these coins will bring a good ROI. I will want to check this thread next year by this time, so i will include there current prices, just to compare by the end of 2018.

Of course i am not an investment adviser. Full disclosure I hold these coins for a long term.

Cardano (Ada): currently at $0.4
Burst: currently at $0.063
Digibyte: currently at $0.065
Dogecoin: currently at $0.008
Bytecoin: currently at $0.063
Siacoin: currently at $0.028

Choose wisely never pick hastly and sometimes pick hardly that almost nothing goes on your standard. Why? It is better that way because you cant have regrets on something you like or want that much.
