I see the pool is pushing close to 30,000 GH/s and the difficulty went up today to 37392766... I keep adding miners but just can not keep up ..

yeah each diff negates 660mh/s!
but this -=> 31334.034 Ghash/s hurts too! hah

Slush's pool
14 minutes ago near Prague, Hlavni Mesto Praha
Datacenter where pool webserver is located has planned maintenance of network infrastructure. Because of this, pool website may be unavailable in following hours. This doesn't affect mining itself, it will work without an interruption all the time!
384  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [12000 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: July 27, 2013, 10:42:18 PM

you can buy them for less than $100 now on Amazon now. i was thinking more like 1-5 USD.

Um, from what I can see, only if you buy 30 of them...lol

Or link please.  Bitmit has some close to $100, but nothing that I would trust has hit that mark yet.

Well ya could yesterday, there were some for $92.95 + $4.75 shipping, but they are gone now.  Tongue

Group buy for K1 Nanos: ~$55 per USB miner:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262654.msg2805819#msg2805819

thats preorder. dont know why you would do a group buy when its cheaper to buy directly form them
https://bigpicturemining.com/klondike-miner/k1-nano

$49.99 + 4.95 s/h + 75 s/h per extra one
so buying 2 is already cheaper than the group buy. but its pre-order... blah blah

Oh and asic usb miners are $100 on ebay now that is where I was going to buy a few

i just noticed that it broke thru 25 TH/s

that is the highest i've ever seen the 30-minute average for slush ^_^

gg

It is cuz I added another GPU Miner... I do that and someone adds like 200 Jalapenos!

I feel that way everytime i add a ASICminer stick.  Undecided

I was going to buy 4 ASICminer stick yesterday... but first I went to the calculator to see much my monthly BTC would increase.... then I increased the diff from 31256960 to 36256960 and noted it negated 2 ASICminer stick, so every 10 days 660mh/s gets negated... So I decided maybe I should stop chasing the diff. the Video cards I can sell at a profit, ASICminer stick will be useless soon. well to most people! people with 50+ already will love every single one tossed out heh

Round 19265 reward is (again) 1/10th of what it should be. How about you?

yeah icky

Progress!!  Down to 5!!

not really a concern they are all valid and ours, he can fix it if they all confirm

Addresses:  54.225.117.74
          54.215.3.101
          95.211.52.40

How long will these addresses be good for?

they are the 3 he picked to use after moving to the new place.
There is no concern as to their length of validity.
If u r failing to connect either slush for absolutely no reason at all went thru the toruble to move off them which would make no sense but in the world of scary monsters makes tons of sense, OR they arewnt working like is happening the last few days, u move to another... and if none work
a simple nslookup stratum.bitcoin.cz will tell you if something happened which is doubtful.

We have been having a lot of problems with the servers over the past few days... If this is the new norm, I'm gonna have to point my miners elsewhere permanently   Cry

I was having trouble connecting until I used the old getwork url and let cgminger/guiminer handle the redirect to the stratum server.

Grin ---> http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332

HT xD

you could save yourself time trying to find tricks to get to a different IP by making it your choice which IP to connect too, there are only 3 allowed right now. It isnt rocket science, if you can type stratum.bitcoin.cz you can type 54.225.117.74 or 54.215.3.101 or 95.211.52.40. It is easy to lead a horse to water pointing this out but u cant make the person understand the simple concept of it.

Rewards are OK (after some waiting until they are fixed), but estimated reward is definitely wrong, all day today.
Hmm. Now it shows that my last share was 10 hours ago, which is impossible, because I have correct reward on last 10 rounds.... But estimated reward is zero.

are you checking this on a block just ended? which it will show u an outrageous number till a share gets submitted

Not sure - blockchain.info shows those blocks as being valid and relayed by Slush?

glad I didnt check anything till now, after the correction! haha

What is going on?  Can't connect to the pool.  Workers that are already connected are fine, but if you disconnect, you won't be able to connect again!

If you're using cgminer (might work with other apps), try starting it 3-4 times as fast as you can click -- usually one of the instances will link up, then just kill the ones that didn't.

or instead of trying to use round robin to choose an IP why not make 3 tabs 1 per IP and switch between the 3 manually instead of using blind I dont know how the internet works luck... haha

Hmm... I have 2 workers running and getting shares but this is not reflected on the website.  I already tried restarting the workers.  What's going on?

Edit: working now.  Lost some shares that way though.  Still would like to know what happened. Sad

Still hard to reconnect to the pool for some reason, especially with miningproxy paired with reaper.

if you cant connect while the hash rate is still robust then go to direct IP's as dns round robin isnt going to resolve much of anything.
stratum.bitcoin.cz (presently) =
54.215.3.101
95.211.52.40
54.225.117.74

Got connection issues here too.

I'm using the mining proxy but it appears to fail when trying to get new jobs from the server, so all my miners were idle.

Tried the usual flush DNS and reboot which failed to remedy the problem so I'm on the backup pool for now.

Try again a bit later? I had luck just rebooting my system and changing from the default GUIminer slush address to stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333

I see 2 of my miners with low shares earlier. since all my miners connect directly to IP's all in the same network all over the same connection, the only answer is the slush back end servers not syncing.
The same thing happened Saturday.

Now #19194 is correct but #19195 is wrong again

9542 / 8794745 * 25.079 = 0.0272

mines wrong as it should be over 5000 shares not 2136

all my miners connecting to 95.211.52.40 were not showing shares on the website so I changed them to 54.215.3.101

now 2 miners connecting to .101 are showing not connected for x minutes the X is a random number each reload.
So that says a backend server is not caught up with the others and since all my miners are going to .101 I have to assume he enabled some round robin back end and still 1 server isnt behaving.
