161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market dominance, Good for altcoins or Not on: August 15, 2019, 07:53:57 PM
I do not see how altcoins will survive this brutal dominance from bitcoin's movement. The only positive I take from this is that many shitcoins will die totally before the next alts season leaving only those with real working projects standing
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 15, 2019, 07:48:35 PM
Based on technical analysis from experts, we may not see an altcoin season this year. If you are still holding them, you may have to hodl a little longer.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: August 15, 2019, 07:44:00 PM
Many people are afraid that regulation will kill the idea of decentralisation on which cryptocurrency is founded. But I believe cryptocurrency will have to allow some form of regulation if it really wants to grow and gain massive adoption over time
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: August 15, 2019, 07:41:01 PM
A bounty manager with a good reputation and track record can actually mean that the project will turn out legitimate and good. But as it is, even human beings can succumb to pressure and disappoint. So let's not base all our decision on the records of a bounty manager alone or their ranks
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters killed ICO? on: August 15, 2019, 07:37:56 PM
Not really. Bounty allocation are usually very little when compared to what is offered to investors. Infact I believe investors have more reason to sell once ico project gets listed because they spent money and expect returns compared to bounty hunters who may decide to hold for higher profits
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image on: August 15, 2019, 07:34:46 PM
Without regulation, cryptocurrency will continue to be erratic, volatile and unreliable. Scams from crypto projects alone is one thing to contend with. Now add the problems of manipulation as well from both whales and some exchanges and you will see that a lot still needs to be done
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin suddenly soared this week on: August 07, 2019, 01:03:26 PM
I think in the next 24 hours, bitcoin will head back to 12k region. So day traders should get ready for it. The fall in the Chinese currency is largely responsible for this pump in Bitcoin and I think it can be sustained till it gets to 14k.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is bounty campaign profitable in 2019 or no? on: August 07, 2019, 12:58:07 PM
The profitability of bounty has dropped immensely due to factors like a larger number of participants, reduced rewards and the overall bear market in 2018. But I believe there are few projects out there that will do well after their sales despite giving lesser rewards. Just pick your bounty projects wisely and work hard on the quality of the tasks to get bumper rewards
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: August 07, 2019, 12:55:25 PM
There are some projects that commenced private sale (before a planned ico) in 2018 and collected money from top investors back then. In 2019, these same projects decided to jump in on the ieo trend. When they did, the price of the ieo was way below the price at which private investors purchased the tokens the year before. Those private investors were ripped off and had to bear losses. So in this case I do not believe that ieo is more profitable than icos
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: August 07, 2019, 12:49:07 PM
When we say 99%, we do not literally mean all. We mean that a larger number of icos have failed. Most don't even have a website up anymore. Especially the ones that were really hyped up and tipped to do well. Their devs and team members must be somewhere on an island drinking coconut milk and eating sushi while we are waiting for the project developments 😂😂
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: August 07, 2019, 12:46:11 PM
It's true that gambling is not so different from trading right now. I picked some alts at favourable positions using TA and everything seems to be going well until btc started its movement again and I watched as my little profit got wiped off one by one
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we always have to pay fee? on: August 07, 2019, 12:38:41 PM
Well that is because fees go a long way in ensuring that services are maintained and continuously up to standard whenever you want to make transactions. These platforms may be automated but there are still programmers working at the backend to ensure everything goes smoothly ☺️
173  Other / Archival / Re: IDAX pro SCAMMED on: August 07, 2019, 12:30:34 PM
There must have been a misunderstanding during idax transaction with with these ieo project owners. So far I've done some research and idax is still in operations. Their Telegram group is still very active as well.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on BNB for the future maybe in few years time? on: August 07, 2019, 10:36:04 AM
Binance coin has the potential to surpass ethereum especially now that ethereum is quivering in price movements. But the cryptocurrency future is not certain and many things can affect the price of a coin in that period.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened with ETH ? on: August 07, 2019, 10:31:19 AM
Ethereum is the chief coin in use during the era of ICOs. At the time of the bear market, several of these ico devs dumped their accrued ethereum to hedge for usdt. The price of eth has not recovered from the massive dump. It's going to take a miracle for eth to go back to its 2017 price levels
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest? gambling? or trade again? on: August 07, 2019, 10:25:35 AM
It depends on you though. There are people who are more lucky than others so if they gamble they have tendency to win more than lose. Investing can also be seen as gambling, albeit, a calculated one. Same goes for trading which I prefer only when market is favourable for it

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: August 03, 2019, 03:02:53 PM
Like a thread I recently visited, demand should take priority. Adoption and demand goes hand in hand. It will make the bull run blow even more epic in proportions.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's has cause more harm done good on: August 03, 2019, 02:50:02 PM
IEOs have actually done more good than harm. But it is true that due diligence is not being done by the investors towards researching further on projects as they leave all to the exchange to do. However in terms of security, I think IEO has reinforced trust in crowdfunding for crypto projects
