581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: October 26, 2018, 11:16:52 AM
Trading can be tiring too but I think I enjoy it and I don't want to stop it. I see all the reasons you listed but I think why it became more stressful for you is because you are trading under a bear market so you have to take extra efforts to make profit.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid of losing money on: October 26, 2018, 11:08:49 AM
Why the need to fear? You don't have to worry. Just keep your portfolio safe and you will be fine. Avoid talking about your crypto worth and and then make sure you have 2fa installed in all your exchange transactions
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: October 26, 2018, 10:58:59 AM
Although you have made some salient points, I have to tell the OP that I agree partially to his view on ICOs. Indeed icos are not performing well at the moment and have left investors losing their hard earned money, there are still some few projects out there that are thriving after ico. Most of the time, thee projects have a very low hard cap which means crowdfunding is completed in a matter of few days. These are the few projects that one can invest in because they are serious with their work. Any project that is asking more than 1 million USD to crowdfund their project is a scam.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does the government hate bitcoin? on: October 26, 2018, 10:50:08 AM
You don't want to underestimate the power of control. You see governments peg prices of their currencies and they can manipulate it at will as long as they own control over the creation  of new notes and fiat. So introducing decentralization means yanking out that hold they have over their currency so that it becomes almost impossible for them to manipulate it at will. Governments will continue to fight against bitcoin and crypto until they can find a way to exercise power and control over it through regulations
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: October 26, 2018, 10:24:14 AM
I prefer cryptocurrency because I can stay comfortably anywhere in the world and monitor my transactions. Banks are good but there are many reasons I detest them. They are centralized, too long queues, limits and high fees there's also the possibility of getting shot during a robbery while at the bank
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term Trading investment or Bounty campaigns? on: October 26, 2018, 10:21:37 AM
If I have $400 and the cryptocurrency market is stable (not this unpredictable bear market), I will prefer to trade because it is less stressful compared to bounty campaign. Also you"ll have an idea of exactly how much you will be getting if you are a trader. But for bounty campaigns, you will be lucky to even get paid your full worth because most campaigns today are managed by cheats and scammers
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Does It Mean To "Spam" In Bounty Campaigns? on: October 26, 2018, 10:07:50 AM
Quote
Someone actually quoted the entire lengthy post just to post a incoherent one-liner. I feel like calling the cops on him
I thought it was just me  Grin

To the OP, I don't know but I think you deserve to get paid since you posted in several relevant subreddits.
Just to be clear, how many did you post in one subreddit? Maybe you posted too many in 1 day?

I post one in one subreddit per day. Also before the bounty I contacted the manager and asked him if there was a limit to how many I can post in a day. He said NO. Meaning I can post as many as possible
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Does It Mean To "Spam" In Bounty Campaigns? on: October 26, 2018, 10:05:51 AM
Yes he said it right, you can spam by sending the same topic again and again with no reform and adequate timing , which might also result in banning you from a group , you must have done such before your stake was revoked. So try to post with spacing and timing next time to avoid such cause you have also confirmed it in your post that you post alot which result to spam.

Listen to yourself. You must be joking! You can request for the reports and I will show it to you. I made different posts in each subreddit and the manager knows this. That was why I was given the highest stakes at the onset. For some reason he decided to strip me of my hard earned rewards several weeks later without my knowledge. The bounty itself has its issues with wrong rewards allocation
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Does It Mean To "Spam" In Bounty Campaigns? on: October 26, 2018, 10:03:08 AM
Yes, I also saw that it was a matter of time when you were too fast in a post not in line with the rank you have, a few hours better bear less than a few hours, so that it's called spam by making successive posts, you also have to understand that every rule here must be followed in great detail, for each rank is certainly different, I think that you are indeed guilty of consecutive posts in a very short time, it becomes a lesson to be able to participate in every bounty campaign.

They are posted in different subreddits with different users potentially. Not just one. So how does it term as being called spam? I think some of these campaign managers are very irrational if you ask me
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety can not come to the bitcoin investor on: October 26, 2018, 09:56:26 AM
The truth is that nothing is safe in this life. Let every investor take care of their assets in the best way possible. If you are scared of wallet hacking then make use of a cold storage like ledger or trezor. You don't want to miss out on the bitcoin boom because of fear

592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: October 21, 2018, 10:46:08 AM
My day job has been owing salary for three months now. Somehow I do not really feel the impact it has on me because crypto has been taking care of my daily needs. I see crypto as more of a job than my current day job
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: goodbye fiat and USD. on: October 21, 2018, 10:41:59 AM
If you say goodbye to fiat, then how do you expect people to buy bitcoin when you won't accept fiat for it? We should not be too hasty to cast away fiat exchange for btc till bitcoin becomes 70% globally accepted at least.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: October 21, 2018, 10:36:56 AM
From 2009 till now, I will say we are still the early adopters. Millions of people around the globe still haven't heard the word "bitcoin" before not to talk of even "cryptocurrency". If regulation comes in now then we will have passed the early adopter stage.
595  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I SOLD ALL MY BITCOINS on: October 21, 2018, 10:28:42 AM
Sorry for your loss friend. I believe ponzi carted away your money and left you in debt. This is why I keep telling people to avoid ponzis and hyips. Any investment promising huge profits in a short time is always going to crash sooner than later. I guess we all have that element of greed within us to make quick bucks off dicey investments. It is good that you have paid off all your debts. I am happy for you. Now you should try to recover your losses and bounce back stronger
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponing ICO, a sign of negative market? on: October 20, 2018, 11:59:42 PM
Many  icos are postponed for various reasons. Although the negative market is a huge factor why postponements are so rampant today. Another reason they postpone is because of the summer holidays. Project owners feel most top investors will have gone for vacation and so they saw it as wise to postpone the ico till the end of summer
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? on: October 20, 2018, 11:51:09 PM
Facebook are looking at how they can apply blockchain to their systems for better operability. Getting their own coin is a long shot which I don't think they will want to look at yet. Unless the OP has some inside information regarding this that I do  not know of
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: October 20, 2018, 11:43:32 PM
Well, the bear market dealt severely with any ico coming up in 2018. Most of them dip so badly, usually 50% and above lesser than their ICO price.I think the people that benefit from ico in 2018 are private investors and those who buy from pre sales and private sales as they get it at much lower prices and with additional bonus tokens
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: October 20, 2018, 11:38:48 PM
On the contrary I don't believe we will be having another December bull run this year. If we are expecting any bull run then we will have to wait till 2019 at least. Although it won't be far-fetched to say bitcoin can reach $8000+ levels this December because it has been sitting comfortably at $6000+ support level for several weeks now
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a very prosperous year for cryptocurrency on: October 20, 2018, 11:34:54 PM
I have said it earlier this year. 2018 may just be one of those few years that crypto market didn't push up in prices. I have seen the previous charts from recent years and it almost happens every 2 or 3 years that we will fall into a bear year where coin prices will be on a constant decline. The good thing now is that the year is almost over.
