Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?

Right now I think yes its still right time to buy BTC. It's also good chance to buy altcoin, if you're in doubt of BTC invest in altcoin too like ethereum,monero and ADA. Just choose top 3 altcoin that have great potential in market. that is true because now is the right time to start investing before everything returns to be expensive, especially for bitcoin and ethereum, whose potential cannot be doubted. The reason is because market demand is always high on both coins so it is possible for both coins to recover to high prices |

I strongly believe crypto currency and bitcoin price will go up soon, I am holding all my coins until reached my expected price level, I think don't sell your coin now, be patience sure the price will go up again, the current market situation is very for bitcoin and crypto currency.when more investors will involve the price will go up and all altcoin price will fly,we cant predict the price for bitcoin and my opinion to hold your coins until reached your benefit.
I'm glad there are some people who are still optimistic about crypto because I see some people are starting to hesitate just because the price is down including me, I admit I'm hesitant about the future of crypto but it happens because my knowledge of crypto is less widespread but now I have no doubt I realize the crypto is not seen only from its current price but its potential in the future |

I met with some instances when some other person using my credentials working for an ICO telegram. People are dumping the tokens, They sell it in a lower price. They are breaking the wall -_-, How can people help a project if they don't know how to help theirselves? I expect more of coins but less of prices.
true, if there are many people who sell tokens at cheap prices then the token price will go down I am sure many people who understand this but what can we do if we already need money? we can not keep hold of tokens and wait for the ride because it takes a long time while the need keeps pushing us so we have to sell it because believe me everyone always wants to sell their tokens for a high price when there are people who sell cheaply I'm sure they had to do it |

The Ethereum has a great potential for development. I am sure that it will be the next market leader.  yes, I agree with you Ethereum has great potential in the future and also potentially take over Bitcoin position but to beat Bitcoin I think Ethereum still have to work hard and takes a very long time. Whenever i want to participate in any project, i first of all look at what the project is about. Are the team members unanimous or not? I check the roadmap of the project and their token sales. I also make enquiries of whether it is the second time for that project's ICO or first time. Then lastly, i consider the number of participants in that project.
You are really careful and thoroughness is very necessary so we are not wrong in choosing a project or bounty because if we rush without really understanding the potential success of the project of course the risk of our losses to be very high why i say lose? because we are wasting time for something that does not produce anything |

The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.
People screaming: HODL!!! It will moon someday!!!!
Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!
This makes me laugh inside. Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.
Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months. The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.
Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!
Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.
Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.
if most of it is bad it means we should be able to find a small part, so not the wrong HODLing but ico and coin is not right if only we can choose the right of course HODLing will make us get a lot of profit |

Kalau menurut saya si cara paling mudah adalah dengan hold tokennya gan. Karena kalo banyak yg di hold maka pembeli akan susah nyarinya maka harga akan lebih mahal. Selain hold agan juga bisa aktif di group telegram san serukan komentar positif dan memberikan semangat para dev dalam pengembangan platformnya

memang benar member bounty dan airdrop biasanya yang membanjiri grup telegram, kita tahu sendiri jika peserta airdrop begitu bangyak sampai ribuan, belum lagi ditambah dari bounty. ya bagaimanapun member telegram juga mempengaruhi penjualan karena memang itu membuktikan komunitas dari project tersebut memang besar.

saya sendiri masih setia untuk menunggu harganya kembali naik nih setidaknya sampai $5 baru ane lepas deh, tapi itu membutuhkan waktu yang ukup lama dan harus ada perkembangan projectnya deh.
Heran juga ini sama INS, kok pada gak mau naik lagi ya harganya, padahal marketnya pun sudah bagus, bahkan di Binance pun sudah ada koin INS ini. Semoga ada gebrakan baru dari Tim mereka untuk menaikkan harga INS di market. Market cuman bagus kemarin doang gan, dan kalau kemarin INS juga sempet naik kayak coin2 lain dan akhirnya sama aja turun2 juga. Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?
Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.
Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .
After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.
But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.
So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?
if you bought bitcoin 5 years ago and hold it until early this year of course you will get big profit, so is not hold long term profitable? just look at the price at the beginning of the launch is not the price of bitcoin already a lot has increased? even if we compare with the current price that is very down we can still earn a profit and maybe in the coming years the price will become more expensive remember there are always surprises that sometimes do not make sense |

There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.
No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

for now there is still no coin that can match and potentially replace bitcoin and even ethereum which notabenenya is the king of altcoin and although the type of coin always increases but I am sure until when bitcoin will continue to be the highest among all coins and no one will able to replace it |

I have lost Hugh amount of bitcoin, and I believe some person's here too have gone through same. Can we please share our experience and lessons.
My story :My wallet was hacked, by God knows who. That was 2017 may. I logged in to my blockchain wallet to notice that 0.9 btc I have been accumulating Since 2016 has been taken. Leaving less than $5 worth of bitcoin for me.
My lesson : don't trust anyone with your crypto, laptop or password. Because I believe someone close to me did that.
with the price now of course many people who suffer losses because it bought at a price much more expensive especially if the person bought bitcoin at the beginning of the year at which time it was very expensive but if you want to be patient you may be able to reduce your losses because bitcoin still has a great chance to get back to the high price |
