421  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: November 03, 2019, 08:11:31 PM
I don't believe that humans evolved from apes but I do believe that evolution is real, just not the evolutionary story of humans, I believe that many animals has evolved certain traits to help the survival of their species, just watching Nat-Geo Wild would open your eyes to that fact, many bizarre characters and weapons that some animals display were not there from the beginning and they developed them to survive, for example there is a fish that learnt to survive both on land and on sea, evolution in action.
422  Other / Off-topic / Re: Huobi Nigeria on: November 03, 2019, 08:04:25 PM
Stop with the wink, wink already.
Has anybody else noticed that Nigeria seems to be getting more and more recognition in the Cryptocurrency space? Recently Binance listed the Nigerian Naira in their exchange and users could trade it, deposit and withdraw, I am quite surprised because Nigeria is known as the den of scammers and they haven't contributed anything much to the development of Cryptocurrencies but I guess they are the biggest Cryptocurrency investors in Africa.
423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it WORTH investing ALTS RIGHT NOW? on: November 03, 2019, 07:59:06 PM
I always think that buying and holding BitcoinBTC is a good idea.  Angry
But I am also a strong advocate of not putting all your eggs in one basket and that is why I would recommend you to use a little of your funds (maybe like 20% of it) to invest in Reputable Altcoins like Ethereum that has proven that they are here to stay and has contributed a lot to the development of Blockchain technology. Bear in mind that this is not a financial advice, I am just telling you my own perspective and the final decision is left up to you.
424  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto-Bridge Just sprung KYC on everyone today - No notice given on: November 03, 2019, 07:54:10 PM
This is unethical AF, it seems to be the new trend in exchanges these days, they seem to always be searching for ways to freeze users funds in their exchange, this is the more reason why we shouldn't leave our funds in any cryptocurrency exchange no matter how long they have been around because the whole power really lies in the people running the exchange and when things like this happen, they make that particular thing quite obvious.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trade safely without any loss on: November 03, 2019, 07:48:35 PM
The fact is that there is no way to trade without losses, it's  just like saying that there is a way to gamble without having any losses, what I mean by this is that trading is very risky and everyday is not a lucky day, ofcourse there are ways to MINIMIZE your losses but there is no foolproof way to ensure that you never lose a single cent.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: November 03, 2019, 07:43:59 PM
You did not even mention the Chinese Cryptocurrency project and I think you are seriously underrating it, the Chinese are one of the pioneers of Cryptocurrencies and as one of the most populous nations in earth, they have a lot of investors and many of them are just waiting for the green light to dive into the Cryptocurrency market, yes the Facebook project doesn't look like it would be launching anytime soon but just like we didn't expect the news from China, anything can happen at anytime, just bear that in mind. I think the boom is coming.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas - dead cryptos on: November 03, 2019, 07:38:18 PM
I know a lot of dead Cryptocurrencies but one of the most hilarious is Universal Token, they launched as a community driven project sometime in 2018, made an app exclusively for their airdrop campaign so that airdroppers would be able to claim their tokens for free, then after a while, they decided that they wouldn't be able to sustain the project and they decided to abandon it.

After a few months, they returned and apologized to the community and said that they are committed to make the project succeed, after another few rounds of Airdrops and some months, they decide that the task was too much for them to handle and they announced the end of the project, a project that launched twice and ended twice without even seeing the shores of a Cryptocurrency exchange.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hidden or Delete all coin in myether wallet? on: November 03, 2019, 07:32:53 PM
That's the beauty of blockchain technology, everything is decentralised and open and opening a new wallet doesn't cost you anything and doesn't take time at all, but if you want to remove the tokens so you wouldn't keep seeing it, you could simply just send them out to a spam wallet that you know or keep, or if it's just that you do not wanna see them anymore, you could turn them off, they would still be in the blockchain ofcourse but you wouldnt be able to view them in your wallet, imtoken supports this feature.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: October 31, 2019, 10:21:49 AM
Even the news of the Chinese Government supporting Cryptocurrencies didn't do it, it just made it rise a little so it has to take something very major for altszn to happen, who knows, it might not even be triggered by anything, it might take time, but I believe it would happen again.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: October 31, 2019, 10:17:24 AM
If you have the urge to invest anywhere, why not get into lending in reputable platforms instead, these days even reputable exchanges now offer this service so if you have the urge to do something, just lend your Cryptocurrencies ,I have discovered that some people just feel like putting their crypto funds somewhere so thet they can feel like their are doing something, never fall for this urge please.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 30, 2019, 07:13:55 PM
If a hardware wallet should make a coin, I would definitely not invest in it because there would be little to no utility to the coin and the only thing they might be able to offer is staking, maybe distribute some of the profit to the token holders which would technically make it a security token anyways, but I definitely wouldn't look at it twice.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: October 30, 2019, 06:54:44 PM
This is one area where I think China has an edge over USA, while we have to admit that Libra is not owned by the USA Government and one of the reasons why they are kicking against it is that it puts too much power in the hands of an individual who isn't part of th Government, I also have to admit that if it were the USA trying to launch their own cryptocurrency, it would take them a while lot of time to think and execute it cos it has to has through many books and go through a bunch of approvals from different arms of Government before it's eventually implemented.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: October 30, 2019, 06:51:26 PM
The fundamentals of Cryptocurrencies are decentralisation and transparency and most importantly, anonymity and this is evidenced by the fact that the creator or the premier Cryptocurrency in existence (Bitcoin) still chose to remain anonymous, while some exchanges still allow users to trade without KYC, they have made it increasingly difficult for non-kyc users to use their services and this is quite annoying.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: October 30, 2019, 06:48:14 PM
Imtoken 2.0 has got to be one of the best mobile Cryptocurrency wallets out there, not only can it support a variety of tokens from different blockchains ,it can also support the creation of multiple wallets in application, and so far it has been secure and I haven't had any complaints about it since I started using imtoken in 2017.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Again telegram offers to postpone with legal issue on: October 30, 2019, 06:45:56 PM
I thought I saw something somewhere about the investors agreeing that the token launch should be delayed, I think majority of the investors agreed before it was implemented though, but this telegram TON token has taken a while, while the hype surrounding it is massive,I don't think this constant delays are conducive to it's growth.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing new. on: October 30, 2019, 06:43:34 PM
Thankfully, you said they are easily done.. but you have to admit that while they are easily done, they are not easy to gain traction in the cryptocurrency space.. anyways what would impress me right now is not a new project, but these old projects fulfilling all the promises made in their whitepaper and triggering the altszn.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this because of libra ? on: October 30, 2019, 06:41:35 PM
The introduction of Libra definitely helped many governments worldwide to wake up to the fact that Cryptocurrencies exist and it's getting real and better with each passing day, the hype surrounding Libra has opened the door for the good ones f Cryptocurrencies in general and even though there are major obstacles that Libra faces, good things came out of it afterall like the incident in China.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: October 29, 2019, 09:31:15 PM
And most importantly, bear in mind that nobody cares about making you a bunch of money in this space, they are more interested in lining their own pockets so if you see any projects being shilled too much, DYOR before you invest if you will  NEVER FOMO.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular on: October 29, 2019, 09:26:51 PM
Since I discovered Cryptocurrencies, I have not been the same anymore, I discovered lightening fast transactions and a way of sending money overseas without paying an obscene amount of money for the transactions. Additionally Cryptocurrencies has presented me with an earning opportunity unlike I ever had before.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: October 28, 2019, 10:05:29 PM
The way the Chinese Government seems to be fast tracking the cryptocurrency policy is quite amazing, from rejecting it in the initial stage, they have done an about-face and are now strong supporters of cryptocurrency and they are doing it quite speedily.
