To be sure the new checkpoint/seed info is being used by your client, the block chain and peers data need to be downloaded anew.
If you are getting the "checkpoints too old" message, then you must definitely do this.
Close your client and go to your AppData/Roaming/CryptogenicBullion folder and delete the following files:
blk001.dat
blkindex.dat
peers.dat
Do not touch any other file, especially the wallet.dat file, or else you'll lose ALL your coins!
Restart your client and you'll see the blockchain download from start. Don't be alarmed if your coins are unconfirmed. Your wallet balance will return to the expected value once the blockchain has downloaded completely and the wallet is in sync. -Merc
Did this. It worked. Coins reconfirmed after about 15 mins of downloading.

ive lost several days of mining transferring from coinex to cryptsy i wondering how many bitcoins are lost forever, ive lost too many zetas so far. Doing my part for deflation, i guess. Lost? How? If your funds don't show on Cryptsy, send them a support e-mail. It can also take some time before the funds appear. ive sent them 3 messages, txid and everything. It seems like it takes 10 mins or so to get to cryptsy. I thought coins were vanishing, but had autosell to on, and was expecting a confirmation of sale, like an alert that coinex gives.

PhenixEX is great exchange where you can trade EVEN ORBITCOIN! and their affiliate system is working smothly. Thats why I have refferal code in my sigg...use it now and have lower fees forever.
PhenixEx is not processing bitcoins. Presumably not good for orbitcoin.

Guys, Make sure your passwords on Cryptsy are at least 12 characters long and a mix of letters(lower case and upper case), numbers, special chars. The 2fa isn't going to do shit when it's known that the first three characters are alpha and the last three are numeric. I can literally brute force it in seconds. I'm sure there is a locking mechanism for too many failed attempts, but just in case that is bypassed then your only defense is a strong password. So don't lose your password. And do NOT use the same password on another site. Make sure it's unique. Rock on, CB community! -Merc Brute force attack definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brute-force_attack? why dont they use Google authenticator.

Waiting 2 days for BTC withdrawal. Scam for sure it seems. Please tag so others do not fall victim.
I removed coins today. Admittedly a tiny amount, with no problem. Correction, none received "transaction processing" after 24 hours

PhenixEx btw appears to have suspended trading and Coinchoose is linking to them. Might be wise to remove any links, and not be associated with exchanges that hold onto coins.

"Append +20 to your username to get shares with higher difficulty." With what mining power would this be of benefit?

? pool working. Hashrate was displayed as 0 on website when I was mining, perhaps this was a glitch.
