Look up your time online (er, just for fun!) at your Profile then Stats, tells you hold long you have been online on the forum. 4 hours needed i think to be able to post... (plus a few posts in the newbie forum)

Yes, went through this all too, and the above recipe works well. In essence, you need to remove the later graphics card drivers and re-install an older version of catalyst. I could not find a work around with the newer drivers installed searching elsewhere etc. (i.e googling). It might be worth trying the next version of catalyst perhaps, when it emerges, to see if that fixes this issue. Suspect it wont, but anyone please post here if they find it does!

Try Teamviewer 8. Its free, and seems to work well.

Yes, as per above posts, you would need to check your username and password settings. Some checks to do: see that there are shares being accepted, also the control panel from the eclipse pool website will advise you how much you have made so far. A good graphics card is a Radeon 7970 but if you google 'bitcoin mining hardware' you will find a very detailed list of types of graphics cards and what hash rate you can expect. Its not just about performance, its about being as efficient as possible and saving on power usage. Don't bother mining with the CPU chip (i.e. as in your screenshot) as it would take many months I think to even get a fraction of a bitcoin. This means you need to add a dedicated graphics card eg Radeon variety and install the Catalyst software. Then, in the spot where you have the "Intel HD graphics", you will see another dropdown (if not there already!) and you will need to select that one; then stop and restart mining to see the Hash rate increase.. good luck!

See the NEWBIE README in this subforum (Other > Newbies), it says: "You can only post in the Newbie and Local sub-forums till you have 5 posts and at least 4 hours on the forum.  The other two restrictions are you need 1 post to be able to send a PM and 10 posts to put a link in your sig." - just in case you didnt know by now...
770  Other / Beginners & Help / 7970 undervolt by what amount to start with on: June 01, 2013, 10:14:42 AM
Just wondering, whats a sensible figure to undervolt by initially? I have read that you can undervolt more over time. Just wondering what a sensible and safe figure to aim at with a new setup. I have a Powercolor Radeon 7970 card, also a Gigabyte one. If anyone has stable settings, please post them with clock speed, mem clock, MH/s. Thanks!

You could try getting a Watt Meter (they are relatively cheap and available easily online, or in the UK from Maplin). Unless you are using your PC for other stuff too at times, you may be able to remove 4Gb RAM if you have split modules and save about 16W.
