Looking forward for more details. i don't think they have a working card system right now but they plan to release a card in due time i still believe they can success amidst the current market situation Sure. I wonder what kind of moves we will see from the team for adoption/integration moves, i'd love personally to see them move to try to integrate with something like chromium or brave to see what kind of front end data security would look like in that kind of partnerships
They sure need some platform to try their protocol out! I dont know about Chrome but there many Chromium based browser such as Cent where they should give a try! Or like you said Brave browser! They should have their door open as they are also a Crypto based company! True, I think they will make a fine partnership with Brave browser too, but I will really like it if they are not limited to some browsers, I mean, different people with different preferences and being operational in all browsers to me is something cool. actually the protocol they plan on bring (Cova://) has to be supported by a browser to get access! otherwise the destined web address! and i don't really know about getting permission on web administration authority or some legal process before going through that! I think also that websites will also have to adopt to their protocol too. Some people might still decide to stay on the normal protocol we use today. |

This is indeed accurate, the recent happenings in the internet world has come to open the eyes of the world as to how important data security is and COVA is profering something extraordinary which millions would have hoped we had sooner. I guess you are talking about the recent data leak where more than 700 million mail-addresses and passwords were leaked? Would Cova really be able to prevent such things from happen again by introducing their smart data? that is what they are trying to solve and i expect the scenario to be in this format " That my personal data should only be visible in X platform and not in other platforms" by so doing hackers can't make sense of hacked data Protecting data has really been a difficult task since the Internet was introduced to the world. Password protection has become a really big issue. Would cova protocol be able to contain all this issues once and for all? |

They would be talking on certain topics Yes, their co-founder will be part of a panel discussion about "application scenarios of Blockchain in game field". I am wondering how Cova can be used in the gaming field. Yeah, It will really going to be another good achievement to them to be invited on some event because it will give more exposure to the Covalent. Good luck to them! Yeah. I just found out COVA tokens could be mined much more easily on the mainnet as long as you have a computer with Inter CPU, you can join the network and mine COVA.
Yeah, but that'll be only possible when the CovaChain mainnet goes live. Right now COVA only has tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and these can't be mined. The launching of Covalent mainnet would make a lot of difference. We could mine these tokens and make profits. Btw would cova tokens be moved from ether chain to cova. ? I think there was a discussion recently, but I forgot the result:-) Some say there will be two tokens, others say there will be a swap and then only one token. I am also of the opinion that there will be a swap. Yes, we had this discussion and if I remember correctly, they will have 2 different tokens. So no swap as far as I know. But I could be wrong. Best is to keep checking their Telegram. If there are any news, I am sure they will announce it there. Definitely, Telegram is the best place to get whatever information we might need but if truly there will be two tokens, I find it strange because there is definitely no need for having two of the same token. Best is to have a token swap if you ask me I totally agree with that instead of having two different tokens they must swap it instead except if those tokens have a different features or benefits on the project? Did they announced when they will release their main net with their very own currency? I've checked their public testnet and its fully operational with no bugs so far! So they should release it soon! I dont know where all this confusion is coming from, they have said it that the cova token will remain on th ethereum blockchain. which means that there will be no cova token on their main net. |

Apparently, Bitmax will introduce margin trading to its exchange, COVA was recently listed on their platform and it will be eligible for margin trading. I wonder if many people will take up the option, you will either get rekt or strike it rich!  Margin trade isn't for the faint heart  , COVA is a great project and it is great that it is eligible for margin trading on the Bitmax exchange. Only traders with strong heart will take advantage of this and it will be quite interesting to watch  Funny for me I still don't understand how margin trading works, I have tried a couple of times to get the meaning and they work. I have used investopedia and still can't understand the trading method Simply put, Margin Trading is leveraging. It is getting access to more funds than you currently have to trade which can only end in any of two ways either make profit to be able to pay back or loss which leaves you with nothing or almost nothing. Getting access to more funds which means the funds are not yours right? If you lose the money won't you be in depth? |

This is a very smart question, I don't know for a fact if it will affect operations, but thinking like every entrepreneur should, I don't think any celebration should affect any ongoing project especially long holidays like that of the Chinese Chinese holidays always has a way of influencing crypto market. But I think the market is getting used to it. I’ll expect a little bit shift in COVA price but progress on the internet protocol shouldn’t be affected. On price, yes, holidays, especially influential ones like that of the Chinese can definitely affect the price, but I'm glad you reasoned with me that an ongoing development should never be affected by holidays especially when there is a deadline to meet. When is the chinese holiday set to begin. I know last year the market wad greatly influenced by the holiday. I just hope that it would be different this time around. |

I have been noticing the last few weeks that the market has been looking more stable at least, which i hope is a good sign for a project like this to grow well, and be successful as people are more interested in projects, especially as we're starting to see more companies announce interest in blockchain tech again
yeah, i think this is the best time for any startup to gain traction because if they can thrive in the current market then they certainly will do exceptionally well when the market recovers fully If they are legit project, they dont care about market crash and they will survive this crash for sure. I hope Neuroneum to be in that category. I think they came at the right time when the market was at its lowest and as the market is becoming stable now we are going to be able to see more improvements in the sales. |

Now probably all of them have sold their Airdrop tokens. Soon there will be no cheap tokens anymore:-)

ICOs have a hard time raising some money right now. So it's a good idea to wait a bit before starting the tokensale. Who knows, maybe the market has recovered until then and the sentiment for ICO investments changed to the better.
True. ICOs are having tough time. For me this is a real pressure test. If it survives this bad time, then this should be a strong project in the future. It might seem as a bad time to organise any ico at this present time but with how far the ico is going spread out, i believe before then a lot of good things should have happened in crypto. |

can this project be successful, I see a lot of gambling platforms that failed when ico. the average of them does not reach the softcap. so I know this year the gambling concept project can still get investors.
I think you posted on a wrong thread. Covalent is a project about data and it’s use as capital. They want to creat an infrastructure where data can be traded and where tha original owner still got control over personal data. I guess he just came here to type without going through all the information about cova. If he did he will know that there was no ico and this project has already gone far with their development. |

According to the roadmap, the ICO is due to close at the end of January, but public sale has not even begun yet. Does anyone have a date when it starts? Main Sale will probably only last 30 days.
You sure about mainsale running only 30days? If that so then i don't thing it's enough for any project in this current market condition! They should expend it! The roadmap says that they started a private sale round in December 2018. And according to a Telegram admin, the first round of their token sale starts on May 1st this year. Okay. They still have a long way to go before the first phase ends. I hope the market will get better for them to raise the required funds |

So did Cova already decide which consensus algorithm their own blockchain will have? Will it be Proof of Work? Proof of Stake? Or something different? I dont know the thing is most of the other crypto-fiat cards havent really been successful i think its a market thats pretty wide open still so theirs no reason for a project like this to not try to make their own way in the field, and even if their was a big one to work with theirs no reason their has to be a monopoly at even that point, decentralized small groups are better

Yes and blaming an airdrop to destroy the price is the wrong way to think about it. If you create enough demand an airdrop shouldn't do much at all.
Airdrop participants did not actually receive much and only a few got the tokens too and mostly from the bitmax listing candy airdrop and I doubt if it will be able to dump the price. although there were only a few Airdrop tokens, the price went down. That surprises me. Did Private Sale participants sell their bonus tokens? That would surprise me, but in times like these everything seems to be sold immediately:-) The price per token in the private sale was 0.00003125 ETH. I doubt that investors from the private sale would sell their tokens with a loss just after the first listing on an exchange. Especially when they knew that this project is a long shot when they decided to invest. The top investors will not risk selling out their tokens at this time., it is actually a bad move and might lead to a very big dump in value of the tokens. If I was a private investor I would not be selling my tokens at this price. COVA is a great project and they are slowly building up steam. They had a very good end to the year and I'm expecting them to continue developing their project in 2019. Right. I remember having this conversation with a friend of mine when they listed on Huobi and announced that there won't be any public sale. Investors don't invest in the token sale just to sell off the moment the token gets listed (in most cases), so, I really questioned the move of selling the token through exchanges, I had a feeling it might backfire but I hope it doesn't because I am always rooting for COVA. I am sure the institutional investors were informed about this and also since they are going to list in exchange it would be only right to get the tokens into the hands of the community in order to create trading volumes, creating awareness for them. |
