The market morale and value is down, I mean there are a lot project already shutting down due to this
This are pretty hard times but Onam continuing what they do is one hell of a big deal and they've got my support
i will like to believe they are capitalizing on the fact that the market will recover soon but i still believe it gonna take some time before the market recovers in most threads it is currently only about the one topic. The big losses in the market. Of course it's bad, so if I look at what my tokens were worth a year ago and what they are worth today, then I could cry too. But I see this as an opportunity to invest in further projects. After all, next year it will almost certainly be the other way around, and then you should have already saddled your horses It's difficult to look past the crippling losses and actually want to invest. But you are right, this is the best time to accumulate tokens and buy into projects that I have monitored for a considerable amount of time. So true, those coins you know what their value used to be months back. However invest what you can afford to lose. That is the lesson learnt the hard way unfortunately; I put some funds when ETH was 600 and I am still going through that pain now lol. I wish I was a good daily trader I would have made back some losses lol; lets see what the bot can do for ONAM Many ICO who collected fund when ETH was around 400 USD or more has lost huge money. Even in November itself ETH value is down by 55% compare to October. I guess now no one wants to invest or start ICO for now. Many of this project have seen too many losses due to the bad market and no one knows when this is going to stop. Many projects have lost so much that their projected softcap looks like a vision. |

Logically with the buy back policy they recently started they should still get funds coming in Although I haven't checked the figure or the progress of token sales i dont think it'll make the token sell stop or slow down as Tachain has fixed value for ETH. but some slow down issue might occure as there are news that eth will fall below 60$ and that time people will buy eth at that price. Tthis is not correct, 1 TCHN costs $ 0.01 a binding to ETH would of course be great, then you could buy really cheap tokens at the moment. But unfortunately the price is fixed at $ 0.01 That is a good move. I think many ICOs avoid bining to ETH and the likes to avoid the volatility of the market; but still that is just as risky if they keep holding to ETH. Many ICOs still have ETHs in their wallets waiting for the sale to finish or they hit the softcap; those that accumulated say 0.1 at an ETH price of $400 are in a big loss Problem is that we still don't know the bottom of market. People are now saying ETH may go down till 60 USD. If that happens then it will be very difficult for ETH to recover. $60 is a little bit fair. I saw someone saying Ethereum might get to $9.50 before it picks up again. I just hope it doesn't take long to recover after reaching the bottom. |

Yeah. This condition doesn't support mining companies giving dividends out to their holders. I hope things works out for this mining companies. Agree on you, I wish they could still hold what is happening in the market right now since there is a huge lose in both investors and the company , I wish they think twice before they take their Evey move. As it stands it will be difficult to find ico getting invest from the community. Everyone is concerned with whats happens next with bitcoin and Ethereum. |

If they are the only mining firm left in crypto. It means that they are going to get a lot of support from the community. And we also have a large fan base available. As said several times, Securix project has a great deal with the energy provider. They have fixed costs and can mine profitably under these bad circumstances. If the market goes up, the profit will increase dramatically. Based on their numbers as long as BTC is well above 4k they are good and profitable. If it goes below there is the backup pool; If it went lower than there is halting until price recovers if that did not happen than it is selling assets. At this time we can see the price of BTC is below 4000$ . So how they will calculate the ROI if BTC will not get recovered until the start a mining? That's everyone's question right now. Maybe they might wait for bitcoin to recover to above 5000k before they will start mining this tokens. |

Thinking about the same thing, I don't know if the market situation will really going to give some good effect to the current sale of the tachain but I'm hoping that they will not really be affected too much by it. I think it will have a bad effect of the project, but in other side, it will have a good effect on the project when bull run will start because some big investors will find a good project like this to be invested in and this project will catch their eye seeing how this project work and how it can be safe to invest in this project. I think many project have raised their funs in ETH and in current situation it is not the best case scenario especially that many lost a lot assuming they did not liquidate. We will jsut wait and see. We can ask them that on the AMA in two days. They have an AMA coming up in two days? Do you have the link to the details. Actually, I'm a big fan of Bitmax. But the language chaos on their side does not make a good impression. When I click on "New Listings," I come to a page with Chinese characters. The links on the English page should lead to other English pages
True, I also think that they should make English their primary language and the Chinese secondary, another thing, I want to believe that they are working on an upgraded website because the current one is a joke for an exchange website. They should have an automatic translate feature other sites have, i hope they are working on this and fixing it anyway possible. They need to be 100% better than the rest. |

Onam team already got nice promotions for the exchange. There’s a bounty on bounty0x and a few other promotions to get most traders aware of ONAM Exchange. I would like to see more of these promotion once they launch. They shouldn’t pause. The feeling is mutual. Due to the market state, I've noticed lots of projects are actually putting their bounties on halt, they should come up with a way to stay afloat please. That is sadly true. Some projects stop their bounty program or even the whole ICO. I'm glad that ONAM is continuing their ICO. It also would make absolutely no sense now to pause the ICO. They are really close to reaching their softcap and there is no guarantee that the market will recover in the near future. Agreed I honestly think pausing just kills the built momentum. I mean they have really came a long way and it is not a good time to pause things now. Well they did not mention anything about pausing so no reason to assume that lol. I hope they do not pause their bounty, we cannot gain more members if they pause it. We can understand the reasons for the pause of ico. But who are in the minds of the projects when the ico is paused? Their own interests or the interests of the investors? |

But now the price is much lower. The only thing can make me hopeful is decrease of difficulty. This can change the calculations and make bitcoin mining profitable again. Well, no one can tell for sure if the market will affect sales as that depends totally on investors. Also, it's a matter of perspective. One can see this as an opportunity to invest given to current price, another will see no reason to participate in fears of price falling even further. Yeah. It is in between. Although I think that those that are afraid are more than those that are investing. Let's not forget those that are just watching to see what happens next and not invest or sell. |

I just saw on their website which is really great that "ONAM Matching Engine can handle over 10M transactions per second with latencies as low as 40 nano-seconds."
that would be really impressive. I have already seen some projects that want to get as high TPS as possible, but none of them has reached 10 million TPS. That's why I'm also a bit skeptical, if that is really so fast in real operation If that's achieved practically, it will not only be unique achievement for ONAM, but also more investors will get attracted in future. That's good news for it. I wonder the technology they used to get that kind of performance. I am guessing they used the machine learning technology. It would be a great achievement for them if this works out. |

I think it would be good if the team really reassured people of where and how they stand with the current market conditions publically
I spoke with damian in the group and he is super confident in the fact that the market will bounce back and the securix project will continue despite the odds, personally I salute his courage, staying with faith in this time of the market is tough work I also think bitcoin price will recover. But there is no guarantee. The team must think of the future of Securix if the price doesn't recover. They must have a plan for it. You will never have a guarantee that your investment increase in value. But I think that BTC and the whole crypto market will recover latest in 2019. Then it will be more expensive to purchase SRXIO token on an exchange. Yeah. Bitcoin will definitely recover from this year fall. Because if it doesn't recover and keeps falling the mining business won't thrive and securix whole progress and reward scheme depends on the actual price of bitcoin. |

There’s a lot of questions on about TAChain project. I think thats because it’s not popular in the streets on Philippines. How does the team plan to get the people interested in the project? How do they plan to refund if it goes wrong? When would the project kick off? So many question on my mind.

After reading the whitepaper, its nice job to find and locate a worthy place to build a mining farm that is approved, and it is a good choice that you pick Iceland since it it has a low cost for electricity bill and with a favorable weather since. Good movement and a nice choice for choosing a place to build a mining farm  I think at a time where other mining projects are shutting down the upcoming ones can step up and deal with the problem well enough. I find this thread which is specific for bitmax.io mining both for transactions and the reverse mining. Reverse mining on bitmax makes bitmax different from other exchanges. I opened an account on bitmax already. But have no idea how it works. Is there a tutorial on how Reverse mining works? (A YouTube would be preferred)
