An investment MUST come with some measure of risk. If you guys are saying that the risk is reduced is a different ball gain, but risk-free is out of it. IMO, it just a marketing strategy.
Crypto, mainly ICOs are already risky! This whole year, many many ICO scammed! Knowing this risk, people are loosing interest in Investing into projects! So if they get a option to exit the project if they feel the project is not worth their investment, why shouldn't they choose it? There is always a risk in investing any ICO project. After all, no one gives any guarantees that in a year this ICO project will still exist and develop. This is just a promise about returning ETH in a year, and promises, as always, may not be fulfilled. However, it’s good that this ICO team is doing at least something for some guarantees. Other ICOs do nothing in this direction at all and simply cheat. Honestly I don't blame others who are sceptical about the risk free promises of the project. Some might have been victims of scam ico. Even I was a victim too. I don't know this project to vouch for them but I believe in what they are trying to achieve. And as it is said above, everything is a risk. |

Hi Thread Starter, is it just me or you are indeed a shiller? I smell a veiled marketing here  In my opinion there's nothing called as risk-free stuff in this world. Hell, we can even die just by running. Also, there's a lot of projects out there stated the same thing, but all of them are a scam project. I'm not saying this is a scam project though. Honestly, by investing into this project is already a risk. How do we know they will send our token? not to mention there's no a single video about the team. So the whole crap about the risk-free is bullshit. I have also been following this project for quite some time already and I disagree with you. There are lots of videos on YouTube, guys also have good ratings on sites like ICObench and have gone through KYC procedure there. So, it does not look like a scam coin. They could have made better PR, yes Moreover, they have MVP that can be downloaded from AppStore - this proves that they themselves have already invested money in the project before the ICO. And idea is actually great, smart token design which makes their coin a demanded tool. I agree with you that there is a risk in everything. What they offer is to exchange the same amount of ETH/BTC invested into the same amount of tokens received. So, yes, there is potential risk that ETH and BTC goes to zero and in USD terms you will still loose money. But if you HODL, investing here it is the same as HODLing, but with additional upside potential. I believe in this project There are lots of people who have belief in this project. No doubt about that. Thats also the reason, they reached softcap already. I agree with you that there always be some risks involved. May be project is claiming too much even though the risk might be definitely lower than the other projects out there in the market. Yea, every investment has its own risk attached to it, investment is a risky thing, no matter how authentic it is and with such comes the need for investors to have some sort of protection, which can come in various forms, example of such is the money back guarantee but i'm yet to see this in action when it comes to the blockchain industry I think there should be some projects that have actually returned users investment when they could not make the softcap. These days KYC is getting much easier. Only thing is team needs to be careful about choosing a right partner to do this in an efficient manner. Most crypto community guys do hate kyc although we have to realise that it is for our good and most times it doesn't take most of our time. what do you mean - is for our good? I think that KUS is not needed at all, and it severely limits the development of projects. In a way it brings some level of security to users of the platform. If you were scammed it would be easier to trace the person that scammed you. As for the project development limitation can you shed more light? |

Well, I am confident that they will reach it but I was also confident that BTC wouldn't drop below 5k again. And here we are now. I don't wanna paint a bleak picture but raising funds in this extreme bear market can be hard. So maybe they could also work with the amount they got so far and don't have to refund in case they don't get the remaining 500k to reach the softcap.
No softcap - no project. This is the law. If the project reduces softcap - this is a sign of scam. Softcap is the MINIMUM amount of money, it cannot be reduced. if a project can not reach softcap then i don't think it deserves to continue its development because they will probably not make any impact on cryptocurrency market It depends I mean some projects just overshot their goals and expectations in this market so it’s a debatable issue but I think it’s one of those things that we hope will be successful but can’t always be the case I think a project can continue even if they do not reach the softcap. They can develop the project in parts until they can get a big investor who believes in their project. |

how did you calculate 10$ per airport, did they made any announcement on anything from ? if its true then it should be really impressive! I can not imagine that we can earn so much money. It's probably a few cents per commercial. We will see it next year I agree it's unbelievable. Yeah! I'm kinda disappointed with Cova for not releasing any Public sale for Cova token. However as far as i know, Cova is still planning on going on with the funds from Private sell! Yeah they are having some private selling based on the admin said on their telegram. But I think they will going to have some public sale after the private sell. guys is absolutely no sense in carrying out a public sale in such a market. there is simply no chance of raising money and, as other projects show, it is almost one hundred percent. many projects understand this and either refuse public sale or transfer it to another date. You are right, it makes no sense having an ICO when its a sure thing that the target will never be achieved in this current market situation and just like you stated, most project have paused anything that has to do with such or implementation, so these are tough times for any fund raising thing in the crypto industry Truly these are trying times for ICO and the industry in general but I am one that likes to take an optimistic approach to anything, and I believe that good projects can still get investors even in hard times. Sure. Investment can come at anytime during a project, even if the market is terrible or not. Exactly, Almost 3.9k user's are joined telegram. Onam admin are too much active on telegram and replying to users queries. That's cool. Its good and convincing to see users applauding community managers of specific projects. Telegram is one of the quickest ways to get answers to questions. Wow, almost 4k members is great. When I started following ONAM and joined the Telegram channel there were only 300 members. Despite the negative market trend, ONAM increases their community. I also observed that few days'back I saw around 3.2k members was there. Now it's increased to 3.9 which is really great thing. Looks like people are much interested in Onam. Yea, their membership base is quite huge, which makes it remarkable as oppose to most upcoming brand at the moment but one thing to note is the friendly nature of the admins, they are quick to respond to any query in a fun living way, guess that's also one of the reasons we get to see people coming into the project and that amount will likely double when things bounce back A good project don't take long before they find a large fan base and support behind them. This guys are still fresh in the blockchain world but are already having a lot of followers. |

I think it’s too early in the mining to really get a sense of the longterm implications of where the market is going not just for BitMax but for everything in this crazy market if there is one thing i have learned from cryptocurrency it is that nobody can predict the future they can only give a probability of what they believe will happen Exactly, and I hope a lot of people comes to realize this. If the "experts" can't really predict, they can give its probable direction but we have seen that failed numerous times as well as succeed. But keep it in mind that there are some top shots that are manipulating the market and know when it is going to rise and fall, they just keep this information to their insider group. |

Please do anyone know if exchange business is really profitable because it seems to me that almost all new ICOs in the space now are new exchanges, what I feel is that most projects want to be the new Binance which is a 1 in 100 example, Binance has a right go to market model and get it right, I don't know how projects cope now that the market has greatly dumped and for how long we don't know
Of course, there is no guarantee that ONAM will be the next Binance. And it's also true that there are a lot of exchanges already. May be they haven't released any info on that just yet! They are only doing development of that exchange and its core features! Probably they will release the info later! I don't think they have announced that yet; I think they are still focused in development and private investments. I mean they are quite active on that front and they said they will announce that information so we will wait and see. Maybe they are waiting for the market to stabilize. Market stabilization is what most project are waiting at the moment because the dip was just not expected, however, its the best time to get things ready for the next wave of upscale movement and i hope it will be in favor of the good brands, some school of thought believe that this will help eradicate bad projects as they won't be able to survive this That is why I think good project tend to deliver a product that works and that people want that way they wouldn't depend on the fund at hand; the fund surely is important but the main focus should be to get a product out with whatever one has. Fast iterations. Lol. What if without the funds nothing is possible with the project. You have to look at the labour they will pay for. Maybe in building a software that will require hiring a skilled software developer to do that. Funds are very very important factor in any project. |
